When the price was $200-$400 people predicting double digits.

Double digits never came.

Same goes for the $1500 prophecy.

Same goes for the $1500 prophecy.

People predicting those kind of prices usually have an agenda (they most likely don’t believe it themselves but they definitely want others to believe it will happen).

Nice to see a few green candlesticks for a change - thought the red had broken on my monitor due to overuse for a while =)

This could very well be the case... I try and stay away from absolute thinking though and deal more in probability and be prepared for various scenarios.

I see $1150-$1500 as an extreme outlier probability wise, but I see $3150 - $3500 as quite likely , so for now at least I have buy orders stacked at various increasing levels from $3500 through to $750 , if they don't get triggered so be it I don't care.

I was not happy to buy over $3500 all year and I am still not, nothing that has happened recently has changed that view, if anything its reinforced it.

Though I am really keen to see how this price action develops, and how the many developments expected between now and March play out... a lot could change.

(ps If we break $5800 with vol then I might consider the trend may be starting to reverse and feel more bullish, but still I ain't buying over $3500, even that's a bit much for my situation, and again, my biggest fear is actually range bound stagnation for 3-6 months, I find that torturous)

Treasury Designates Iran-Based Financial Facilitators of Malicious Cyber Activity and for the First Time Identifies Associated Digital Currency Addresses
Yanks pick on Persians again.
Fuck those Ransom ware fuck faces I'm happy they were caught.
It's a government attack on bitcoin fungibility. The implications are yuge.
Did we think that the US would allow anyone to engage with known criminal addresses? I mean come on now, if that wasn't expected I don't know what is. They're pinning these addresses to users and saying don't interact with them, I expect large exchanges get list prior to this and pass information onto the government.

Not going to have a public ledger and not expect the government to take advantage of it.
I shoulda said the 'first overt' USG attack on fungibility, and linked where I reported the rule change to this thread some months back.
Of course we expected it.
Anyway, there is no title in bitcoin, so the conceit 'known criminal address' is just that. Word salad from the criminal regime currently running that part of N America.
There are no coins, no addresses, no owners. In these cases or any others.

We’re going back to $500 - $600?

Want to place a bet on that?

That's not a contradiction, that's a statement. I believe there is a good chance we'll see those prices again, i hope i am wrong.

No, i will not place a bet on it, if i was 100% sure, i would be selling everything, not placing bets.
