All I've been asking for is that the principles of logic, reason, and mathematics are adhered to. Which is fully consistent with 'the negative has not been proven'.

You really don't though.

Yes. I do.

Quote
You force feed your opinion down peoples' throats by insinuating that if they don't agree with them they must be intellectually inferior.

Bullshit. If my posts make you feel intellectually inferior, then that's on you. I may have demeaned you personally once or twice, but that would only have been replying in kind to insult you were hurling.

Quote
And incredibly, you're wrong far more often than right. Do you use the same principles when making your spectacularly wrong predictions about BCH and SV price movement?

I can admit those were bad calls. Financially. So far. But from a technical perspective.... I anticipate the market will come around to the superior solution. Admittedly, becoming less sure of this as time goes on. What's the saying? Oh yeah. The market can stay irrational longer than you can stay solvent.

Thought of the Day: Bitcoin market downturns create new hodlers with conviction

Why?

If a person is convinced Bitcoin is a revolutionary digital asset, and buys the bull run at say $10k, when the downturn comes is he/she thinking:

1. I should just sell above my buy-in price, take a profit, and walk away forever. Never to buy bitcoin again.

--or--

2. I should sell now so I can buy lower, possibly doubling or tripling the amount of bitcoin I initially bought.

#2 is the obvious answer. It's not more short term fiat profit they really wanted all along, it was more bitcoin they wanted. They already knew this going in, whatever they bought/own was not enough.

Good morning Bitcoinland.

Nice to see a small leg up... currently $3720USD/$4935CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

I'm beginning to feel less superstitious.  Cheesy

1. I should just sell above my buy-in price, take a profit, and walk away forever. Never to buy bitcoin again.

--or--

2. I should sell now so I can buy lower, possibly doubling or tripling the amount of bitcoin I initially bought.

Or:

3. I should not sell unless I absolutely must, keep holding, take advantage of the low prices and buy as much more as I can afford.

I'll choose option 3.

With every epic market crash/correction new HODLERS are definitely formed. HODLERS from the Gox crash are now joined by our new friends from the 2018 bear market debacle.

It all points towards more strong hands as we head toward the next halvening.

Less coins on the market = bullish!

It already has, you're just on the wrong side of it and got deluded.

If you don't think BitcoinTM with Segwit/LN is the *right* long term solution that will endure above all else, then you should just sell all your BTC holdings now and get entirely out of the crypto world. Because I got some bad news for you about BCash ABC and SV... they've already failed in the eyes of the public.

BCH & SV are already dead, there’s literally zero interest in both. I’d love to see how many people buy & HODL thinking they’re the future. I see value in both for short term profits from random pumps but no way both will become mainstream payment options in the future.

Bitcoin will survive but the 2 shit forks are on life support imo, propped up by their scammer creators.

I tried another address tonight, one that I found on coinmap. It turned out to be an outcall massage and I'm pretty sure they don't stop at the "regular massage".

The prices seem reasonable for professional work. Extras would require a different professional profile, though. I wonder how much extra they ask for the extra.

and thats on land. the ocean is less forgiving.

Can we all move in with you? It sound very reassuring there.

In return for food, power and guns I can offer toast making, as long as it's your bread and you're not too fussy, and I'll keep my room tidy.

depends. youll have to meet our cats standards, which are much higher than ours.

you would also have to be ok with extremely loud music at all times of the day and night, mostly pink floyd, rush, lynyrd skynyrd and other southern rock, and punk. and the music the wife and i play on our instuments; hers played well and mine that sucks. plus random weapons fire at any time.

Bakkt's New Acquisition Will Speed Its Plan to Streamline Consumer Payments.

Quote
But Bakkt’s ambitions are greater than ever, Loeffler says. The startup is already going global and has begun discussions with regulators outside the U.S. ICE owns a number of the world’s biggest commodities exchanges besides ICE Futures US, the market that will handle domestic business, including ICE Futures Europe and ICE Futures Singapore. “Bakkt is being designed as a global business,” says Loeffler. Bakkt represents the biggest bet yet by a major financial player to bring crypto-currencies both to Wall Street and masses of consumers.
