I'm honestly really bummed out about The Dude shilling for Stella Didn't seem like a very "Dude" thing to do. That's what some of us get, for expecting a sequel to a movie that could never possibly have a worthy follow-up. As a beer drinker.... you ever drunk Stella? I agree the dude should stick on Milk and white russian (i’m no beer drinker as well, i am a milk and white russian drinker ) But as for beer, Stella ain’t that bad

Any chance of a hat xhomer? I don’t have an avatar and trust to your creative skills. I also now have some merits I can start sending. Hooray.

How is your morning, Gentlemen ?
All is well from 30km east of Carolina. Only worry today is finding a sports bar where the wife can watch the super bowl. We'll watch it again when we get back home. For accordingly experience hath shewn that the super bowl in PR is accompanied by local commercials, rather than the creativity fest shown back on the mainland. Imagine that... watching TV for the ads. Whatta life. Jbreher, are you scouting it out for residency? In a word, yes. I don't know how productive the trip will be. I've never before scouted an area for residency. But the special cap gains treatment demand investigation. Perhaps most importantly during a down market. One week here on the east side, next week on the west side. We shall see what we shall see. For the time being, yo soy Boricua! Enjoy! I've been interested in PR for the same reasons. The western side of the island sounds more appealing to me. And I've heard there are a lot of Americanos in Rincon. One thing that worries me is that my brother's friend, an FBI agent, said it's fairly dangerous in PR, and kidnapping for ransom is remarkably common. The official crime statistics are cooked (like most places, I'd guess) to make PR look safer. OTOH, I'd assume most of crime is relegated to the San Juan area. Well, I'm going into this eyes wide open. I am aware that crime is statistically high here. One of the components of the mission is to try to scope out which areas may be somewhat safer than others. So far, I've not felt unsafe. Other than on the roads - these peoples drive crazy-like. Another issue is the lack of some American staples. A friend of a friend launched a successful ICO, based in PR. He said a few of their employees (from the mainland) couldn't handle the change. For one in particular, the final straw was when he found it impossible to get ahold of a roast beef sandwich.
Well, if your life is going to be dictated by what is available grab-and-go... There's beef in the supermarkets - one could make one's own. There's also pre-packaged roast beef - as in chopped/pressed/cooked/shaved variety. They have KFCs by the dozens, but I don't recall seeing sister Yum brand Arby's anywhere. Though I assume for such a person, Arby's doesn't have roast beef sandwiches either. Mystifying is the limited selection of TexMex ingredients - tortillas, shells, salsas, etc. It's available, but only one or two items in each category. OTOH, there is almost Hawaii levels of variety of Spam. Go figure. Navy influence?

9 and 1 (probably). Reasons: 9. Who doesn't want to live forever? 1. I can perfectly start with one coin and use all the knowledge of the past 6 months to make an immense wealth banking on every short term trade I remember. I am assuming this choice is some sort of 6 months time back machine. Maybe I am misunderstanding the wording. In other words, immortal and filthy rich.

Arby's is not part of Yum brands. It is owned by Inspire Brands.

Davos WEF Crypto/Blockchain Wrap-Up https://traderschat.io/t/davos-wef-crypto-blockchain-wrap-up/64"At all, attendees were positive about tech and continued pushing the idea of «blockchain over cryptocurrencies. ... 40% of Investors Believe in Blockchain ... Focused on real-life challenges, issues, and potential solutions, speakers mentioned various advantages including accelerated insurance claim payments, improved access to health records, enhanced targeting, and next-gen security for sensitive patients’ data. ... Circle CEO Claim That Crypto is Essential ... Jamie Dimon also noted that he really likes the idea of blockchain ... The WEF faced a wave of criticism from the industry representatives, famous economists, and managers. Some of them blamed both blockchain and digital currencies while others focused on digital assets only ... Despite these opinions, the overall attitude was pretty bullish as experts were optimistic to blockchain as a growing promising technology."

I don't have anything at all against Stella as a beer. I buy it often enough, and quite enjoy the beverage. I recognize that Jeff got involved with whatever fresh water initiatives Stella supports, but it just spat in the face of true Lebowski fans out there, IMO. Yeah it is strange to go and drink stellar in lebowski character :/

I'd say fairly lame even with his wheelchair... seeing how he's dead....

Yes. 1% has been a conservative recommendation that a lot of BTC HODLers have been suggesting to nocoiners for years, whether the BTC price is up or down. Of course, each of us BTC HODLers have had differing approaches, and differing ways to present what we believe to be prudent BTC HODLing, accumulating and investing. Personally, I have suggested a range of prudence for BTC percentage to be targeted between 1% and 10%. Of course, there are BTC HODLers who have been more aggressive in their personal approach by allocating much higher amounts towards BT , which, historically, has large paid off as long as such more aggressive persons have been able to HODL through decently long periods of bear markets (which can certainly be trying), and surely, such more aggressive approaches would not necessarily pay off if a decent amount of fiat cashflow and expenses (including possible emergencies, which are nearly inevitable to happen over long periods) are not accounted for over such longer possible bear market (BTC price correction) periods. Even though past performance do not guarantee future results, I think that if any of us BTC HODLers are speaking with nocoiners, we can continue to confidently recommend 1% to 10% BTC allocations as continuing to be prudent, while at the same time attempting to make clear that each person has to take responsibility for their own BTC allocation decision(s) because no investment is risk free, even though BTC continues to seem like a nobrainer to a lot of us who have studied the space in recent years and decided to take a decent stake into what we believe to be its likely future success.
