I rarely post here nowadays, but I regularly lurk this thread, and usually I do it before checking the btc price after work, and I play trying to estimate the price by reading posts here.

Today, I saw unneeded despair.

Seems to me that we are still a thin market, and in hindsight i would say that news DO influence the market.

In my opinion we just saw a bunch of morons buying and selling on Facebook/potus drama, like usually happens with stocks. They don't understand anything of course, just a lot of stupid money.

We are still up on the monthly chart, and have hodled trought baddest storms.

Bitcoin is winning and strongly than ever. It is already established and worldwide recognized as a valuable thing, and centralized fucked up cryptos are not going to take government's approval. Shitcoins are gone too. The sun is bright and everything is going well.

With the way things are moving, its anyones guess on which route bitcoin might take and depending on what stimulates the market I foresee BTC taking any one of these routes.

U.S congressman
"Even the Chinese with their firewall and their extreme intervention in society could not kill #bitcoin.....
You can't kill bitcoin"

https://twitter.com/MediumSqueeze/status/1151470299327733760

He's the guy Patrick McHenry

That's hilarious from that interview of that republican congressman.

He also says that even though you cannot kill bitcoin, you can do a variety of things in terms of regulation regarding a number of reiterations of bitcoin that are trying to mimic bitcoin (such as facebook coin).

U.S congressman
"Even the Chinese with their firewall and their extreme intervention in society could not kill #bitcoin.....
You can't kill bitcoin"

They start to figure that out. And now they also have a good window of opportunity for buying. Will they use it? Naaaah...

The sane mind will grab any opportunity they get, and those stuck into " G-Old way is the only way" will not.

@vroom i doubt about killing, however they can do some damage for sure but only for limited time. in the end its "adapt or die" situation IMO.

Yep... attempts to kill bitcoin would be quite problematic... a kind of war, underground and wackamole to figure out getting the cooperation of other governments, and they are not all going to cooperate - which is some of the brilliance of the underlying incentives built into bitcoin.

The infinite monkey theorem states that a monkey hitting keys at random on a typewriter keyboard for an infinite amount of time will almost surely type any given text, such as the complete works of William Shakespeare JJG's passwords.

If you have a rooted phone you can backup GA with Titanium Backup (and copy/move the backup file to a safe backup).  If you lose or destroy the phone it's no problem, just restore the backup to new device.

so a monkey would eventually hit Satoshis keys huh? Let's get a monkey and some software!

You don't even need a monkey... or a software:

I used to consider this theory when writing code. Give me enough time and enough monkeys and I can code anything...so when my boss asks if some sort of software can be written my answer was always a confident "yes".

Then I saw a video where they gave a keyboard connected to a computer to monkeys...and no...monkeys would never do shit with a keyboard. Smack it a bit and just go and play.

So my whole career was a lie.

I am a Perma bull and that is why don't want to post bearish short, medium time prediction to not fuel up WO thread heaters  Wink.

There is only one medium time prediction for BTC which is DOWN to the 7800$ price range or even deeper.

We can see some swings, but we are going down and I would start buying back at 7800$ and lower levels if possible.

I am still bullish and think that we will bounce back up from 7000$ levels when this correction ends. But if not and we will be going down deeper, then my long term prediction will finally change to bearish  Cry.

Will update with charts a little later to let you guys better a few of what to expect in next days in my opinion.

I am shorting BTC short, medium-term now. Don't mention alts one should short them all because they just getting slaughtered. When BTC goes up, they go down and when BTC goes down, they also go down  Grin. This is an ideal situation for BTC to get back, to 90% of the market share and to continue the bull run after this corrections.

Be careful of getting greedy.  $7,800 may be too low. That would be a 44% correction from peak $13,880 which is a pretty big correction in a bull market. Not saying it won’t happen, but it is far from a sure thing.

We have already had a nice scare and might just track sideways here for awhile with a couple more scares just to liven things up and keep bear hopes alive.

Bitcoin ONLY goes forward in time, it does not go back.

So get that notion out of your head.  The toothpaste is already out of the tube.... the cat is already out of the bag... the genie is already out of the bottle, etc. etc. etc.

My blockchain based, distributed AI algorithm produced the following graph:

On the left part of the graph is the fit of the model to actual BTC price (this is why there's only one flashy line), while on the right part future price path based on deep learning path probability density (the brighter the more probable):

what do you think?
