Maybe btc did not died today, but I can perfectly understand why nobody here seems to be satisfied with this price...
When btc was 3k-ish we were all expecting btc to find the bottom and skyrocket again. Btc indeed DID that, but now seems to lack the propeller to stay high, even if the actual price seems very low.
In this fragile situation and with low volumes, we all know that some issues (mainly tether and mtgox coins) are still pending on btc price, and a shit-ton of FUD can be released anytime with a bogdanoff's call.
I will hodl till the end and will not sell anything before a new ATH (except maybe a beer or two if it happens, but I see still very few markets), despite that I am not comfortable with the current situation.
Most people made their calculations/plans according to a future price of $50k+ (possibly 70-100k) probably and bought enough coins to dump when the time comes. (me pretty much included) This was the same when btc was 1k or below. People make their plans to aim a higher number. Nothing has changed. Maybe the other theory, "wider bowl with every cycle" is the one true theory.

171 btc sell wall on stamp at $8741.... uups ... gone... edit: watching charts since 2013. it was pretty much all mtgox by then. i can only tell you that karpeles did a better job hiding the "manipulation" than all the exchanges today combined. of course i am whining "manipulation" only when price goes down. if it shots up, it is clearly always organic demand. Well, this is a given. Damn that got me out of my HODLsleep, turn around and HODL further....
Story continued with waking up to late on a Sunday (Belgian free day....11 November, ceasefire) Woke up not to bad and still the HODL goes on, at night at day all the samen.... Have a fine Monday gents of the Wall Yup, had Marine Corp Birthday yesterday and going to get a Free steak for Vetrans day today. Think I'll grab a movie as well, any recommendations? This is working out well for somebody. Liquidate all the people at one end, then liquidate all the people at the other end. ...and repeat. Bleh. Here comes the pain. Thats why we have learned not to gamble with the precious. Except Goldkingcoiner that is. The only thing keeps me going (maybe not the only but it is one of the major) that how I saw btc climbing from 1-3k to 20k in 2017 and it happened so fast. Somethhing similar happened not so long ago again. (From 3k to 14k) One of these days it will start pumping again and ...
I remember how people were making fun of ltc as 5$ coin.
This is accumulation. It is never fun.
Yeah, I remember when it was a 3 bucks forever and dropped to like a buck and a half and chinese were sucking it all up and I was like "theres to many of those shitcoins to grab any" So I didn't grab any. Man was i brilliant at that time.

Have you noticed that every single one of these articles hints that in the future mining will be a highly regulated venture, almost like creating food products (FDA). So you'll have to pony up tens of thousands of dollars in regulatory certificates, lawyer fees, and all kinds of other nonsense to be 'allowed' to even mine at all? Then of course, they'll also require you to AML/KYC transactions. In other words, non-fungible, digital shitcoins were always nothing but a tool to empower the state. Transaction validators/block producers are already designed to centralize without government involvement. Then add on enormous regulation to push out any newcomers or small miners, and it turns to total shit monopoly and just a tool for the state to track and control cattle in real-time in a permissioned ledger.

Day two of Secret Labs Titan $400 chair. Flat leather with no indented or raised pattern is HOT. Probably will buy some sort of cloth seat cover in an attempt to avoid this. If you live in a cold climate, you could just turn down your heater and it wouldn't be an issue. Also causes back to be hot, but using lumbar support cushion, removes the problem. As for the other issues of the chair, the seat is a bit softer towards the front and a bit firmer towards the back, so using the lumbar pillow pushes you forward some making the chair more comfortable. As I stated before, the lumbar pillow on these things are not comfortable, though. I've isolated the problem being due to the edges on the side of the memory foam pillow curving outwards which causes them to poke into your kidneys. So as you can see, 99% of the issues with this chair revolve entirely around the lumbar cushion. I will probably attempt to perform surgery on the foam to make it flat instead of curving outwards to fix these issues. It's difficult to see in the picture, but those raised edges on the sides stick right into your kidneys:

Not against anyone in particular here... The chart is a perfect example of you people, seeing as how in the Bitcoin developer channels, there's virtually nobody who believes Bitcoin is too big to fail and when some big price implosion happens, you even see people question if sha256d was broken or something. So everyone knows it's all built on a shaky ground of bullshit that can implode or be blackswaned to nothing at any second. Yes, sha256d is supposedly 'secure' today, but it won't be sometime tomorrow, and if it's required to have a 24/7 on-call Best Buy tech support team to constantly micromanage this nonsense and constantly alter even the bedrock foundations of which it's built on, it's obviously a Keynesian bullshit scam, unlike physical metals. Metals do not require Best Buy Geek Squad to constantly tamper with them in an attempt to prevent them from imploding.

Huge green dildo is taxiing onto runway and guess what is there in the end of the runway? Your shitcoiner ass gaping wide! Profit has been wrung dry out of most alts. Specially against BTC. Also BTC requires a healthy alt market to grow more. Dominance will continue to reduce now while alt market "buttresses" start growing and most upside will be in alts during the next bull market (at least in relative gain terms).

Happy Birthday to the man that brings the colour in this thread !!!!
I hope you have a good day.... today in Belgium is a special day 11 November !!!
Thanks MicG It used to be a holiday here so when I was younger, I thought everyone had the day off school on their birthday. The year they cancelled the November 11th statutory holiday really confused me. My mom told me to hurry up and get ready for school or I would be late. "I don't have school today! It's my birthday!!", I said. One of my saddest days ever when I found out that people didn't get the day off school on their birthday. There oughtta be a law... Edit: Oh yeah I almost forgot... I'm working nights

Also BTC requires a healthy alt market to grow more.
As with most Toknormal posts, leaving out the real relevant facts. The only reason BTC requires an altmarket is because mining is designed to centralize through non-commodity hardware. So the alt market's fleeting pump and dump coins with newer or different proprietary mining systems offer a window into Bitcoin for the outside world. However, we've already had the Cambrian explosion of altcoins, and they all pretty much centralize too, and the general public is not really interested in them anymore. So the general public then has no stepping stone to be involved in BTC either and the greater fools dry up.
