Look at all this fresh fiat money on Bitstamp. And look at this lack of coins.
I was expecting to come back and reply to you saying not to get carried away and post the current bid/ask depth stats, but.. wow! Bid sum is up 10m USD in 2 days and ask sum is down 8k BTC. Thats an improvement from 500USD/BTC (bid depth) to 1375USD/BTC I've been out of the loop for a while. Where are you seeing this info?  WOW! Did not expect to wake up to such bullishness  |

I'm expecting the daily news cycle will kick in around 4 hours hence and the news of the Gox subpoenas will send us back down for a while. I don't think it will have much effect, Gox is toast anyway. |

I have a good feeling we've reached the bottom due to the volume. The 380-400 resistance held and the market rejected the downtrend when it got to that point indicated by the volume. The market has already considered mtgox bankrupt. If ever, mtgox comes back, it'll be an added bonus to drive the price up. I'd buy on dips right now.

There have been so many bad news that the price became numb now. I don't think more bad news about gox will affect the market. We might see a very small dump but as this drags on, those dumps from bad news will get even smaller and smaller. |

Think Silk Road. I'm pretty sure we're rallying right now off of the fact most people are certain gox is insolvent and being investigated. At the least maybe the last goxxin' ( knock on wood ) Think about it in the perspective of a stamp buyer knowing that if gox turned it back on, they could scoop up coins at price that would be below the current price. No gox arb = time to buy as these are local lows. If anything I think being 12 from 600 on stamp speaks to this. Mind you never would be surprised by a bull trap. |

Expected to wake up to 500$ coins, were almost hitting 600 now.

Gox ain't coming back. You don't recover from losing 744 thousand bitcoins. There is still a chance, even though miniscule, that somebody will acquire or bail out mtgox. |
