Which I think is fair. My current laptop is 8 years old.

Rick and I were JUST talking about this; how I'm terrified about the prospect of buying an Apple Silicon (M1) 16" Macbook Pro when they are (imminently) released.

Changes that massive scare the crap out of me, but I hear the X86 Rosetta2 translation is stupid-fast, so... IDK...

It might take a while for developers to re-build their apps native to ARM, but they'll be done eventually.
And it seems the M1 is a stonking fast processor. But then AMD's most recent chip seems pretty good too.

Hi fellows,

[...]

Just a couple question for the good-hearted who are willing to enlight me:

-Any interesting stuff or drama going on?

No, except for cringe Bitcoin maximalists hammering on their beloved shitcoin drama drum each time they think they have an audience.

Quote
-Any free money at this turn? (I remembered bitcoin cash and clams and all the later airdrops, a lovely way to increase my btc stash)

Not yet. Airdrops are sooo 2017.

Quote
-What is this DE-FI shit about? I read about it everywhere, seems nothing new, but i would like to ear an hodler's point of view.

(semi) Smart contract type of shitcoins pumped to heaven and dumped (rug pulled) to smithereens by their founders/hackers. If you did not like the pump and dumps of ICO 2017, you most definitely don't like De-Fi. The only thing good about it, is the increased realisation that Ethereum in its current phase is much to slow for what it needs to do/be, and bringing liquidity for ziliions of ERC20 tokens (99% of them vapor projects) so that happy traders are not depending on centralised exchanges for their shenanigans.

So in the end: same old story. People trying to get rich scamming and pumping/dumping shitcoins, and happy Bitcoin holdlers letting time do the work.

It's about time depositors saw first hand what the financial alchemy of the last two decades has bought them. One can expect that threshold to only decrease from here.

Grin Grin  My chickens haven't quite hatched yet, but... feeling pretty good.

Guys.

My body is feeling pretty fucking ready right about now.

You will need some maintenance doses of WHY to get you along to the Nov 22-24 range ATH then...

It's not spending money in places, it's spending money in the right places.

Sure. And of course Putin knows all the "right places", while highly paid political consultants for (R) and (D) are absolutely clueless.

But if he's so smart, how come Russia is so poor? Something wrong with this picture.

OK, enough of that. I'm banning myself from talking politics for a week. Don't take it personally if I don't respond.

Need to collect lots of trains and rocket pictures asap.

Russia is poor because the oligarchs stole most of its wealth.  Just spent a bit of time in Kensington in London and you will see it.

 Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Guys

Today is last time to buy sub 20k !

I would not go that far, even though anything is possible.

So close to a new ATH. Excited to be here with all my fellow WO-OG members. How do you celebrate something when your situation should be a secret to others. Not sure how I will handle the questions from colleagues. Strange and exciting times to live in. Is this all a simulation? When does it end? How does it end?

It is remarkable to see the real-time adoption of Bitcoin unfolding day by day. The bear market was easy. The real hard part comes next year. I don't feel prepared for what awaits me

U better pee pare ur lil selfie...  Angry Angry Angry
