making a single BTC out of reach for the ordinary person, which it almost already is.

You'd basically have to sell Bitcoin like a car for that to be a reality for the vast majority.

Although we are already firmly above 40k € here in Euro-land...

...crossing and staying above $50k would make my day.

Next stop: 50k € (almost $60k)...

What a disgusting poll !! And the results almost made me puke...

So do you really think 2.5x from last cycle is current top??  with all the money printing frenzy ?? c'mon!!

The poll is worded carefully. It asks "When do you plan to START...?"

The keyword is START. Even if someone has a higher target in mind, locating the top is not easy - actually nearly impossible, it could be argued. So a careful BCA* strategy could be an effective way to extract a preset amount of fiat, hedging against a premature end of the bull cycle. Not that I deem it likely as it is now, or that I need that much fiat in this predicament. Personally, I'm not starting anytime soon, but we all have different circumstances, so it will be interesting to see the poll's results.

Yes - this is the bit I can't be bothered with, on other forums you can just paste the image. Pity that.

If only Theymos could afford new forum software. Or to scrape together the shekels to improve this one.

The source as I understand it is SVT, Swedish television website, it says so in the text.

" I’ve been getting most of my statistics from SVT, the Swedish public broadcaster. They had been providing data on the share with antibodies in Stockholm up to a month or two back, when that information discretely disappeared from their website. I wonder why."

Do you really believe this yourself? Then you can easily be scammed by some 'Elon giving away coins' type of scam. Or another possibility could be wishful thinking. Grin  Grin

Oh ffs, I live in Sweden, I have seen the graph plenty of times, if you claim it was never there, then you prove it.

Fires in fireplaces are banned in London. Her Majesty can't be seen breaking the rules.

Even still, there are a bit more stylish options available. Though she is known to be thrifty ironically enough.

Interesting. I was updating Quicken and tried a few future values for bitcoin to check my net worth. Apparently you can not have a security worth more than 99 million dollars a share without Quicken blowing up.

They had better fix this bug. Soon.

It's not a "crisis". It's by design.

I am pretty confident, important patches get merged from SMF.
Bct's SMF is heavily modified (trust system, DT, merits and loads more). It's definitely not just a matter of clicking "update my instance" in the admin GUI as I do with my SMF forum.

I for one like bct as it is - it is reliable, fast and over time you know how it works and behaves.

supply crisis is in.

Clear up:
So the supply went down ~25% (if you look the whole chart, not the 1,9% which is in there) ... There are 75%... The real crisis starts if there are only 25% coins are left, so the blue line is at 250k or less Wink

Fuck my long was cancelled before execution because of insufficient margin (too little BTC in the marginpool) on Kraken. It was only 1.6 BTC so they must be really low on BTC's.

 I'm honestly sorry for your cancelled long but this is  r e a l l y  g o o d  n e w s!

I'll be the first to admit I was wrong. We did not hit the top and my order went through. Now the price can climb or fall as much as it wants and I'll be fine either way knowing that I never have to sell again. By the next 4 year cycle there will be no fiat to sell into.

I won't be selling, I'll be buying things with bitcoins.

I cut up my credit cards years ago. I have a shitload of money on the exchange and in bitcoins but I can hardly spend any of it as I have to trade BTC with friends for a few hundred dollars here and there. I dropped all of my banks in Panama because they're assholes.

I'll let the world catch up to my lifestyle of not using banks or credit cards.

Thank God for purse.io. I was very worried when they announced a shut down last year.
