Of course the 15 april deadline is true, it's just a matter of how much that is already priced in. Judging by denial in this thread, not very much.
400 does not seeem too solid, therefore.

Miners, they need a steady income to pay the bills and without them the network's vulnerable. I'm a bit curious why the hashrate is still rising exponentially, it should have at least slowed a little as prices went down. I'm not up to date with mining hardware at the mo, is there still a backlog of pre-orders and is any competitive hardware available off the shelf?
Since about three weeks, China's production of miners is increasing exponentially. There are not available in the west, but in east asia it is fairly easy to buy them if you make large orders.

That article does not seem to have any new information, just a re-re-re-hash of the same news, ultimately from the Caixin article. The OKCoin CEO's statement, IIRC, was made just after the rumor surfaced. The comment by the Huobi person seems to have been garbled ("transaction records would go underground"?), the reporter may not know how an exchange works. I think that the situation is still undefined...

All that bearish sentiment. I get the same feeling as in the summer of 2013: Keep calm and HODL edit: 130 USD ~ 720-800 USD 65 USD ~ 400-450 USD I agree and I'm holding, but even through we've been through this several times, it's scary as hell.
