Wait, I thought Putin had Parkinson's? I just read it is probably dementia. But above there is an article about that he needs to undergo treatment for cancer. He probably has all three. Sure. ....sure and fresh off the press from the 1930/40's , apparently he has only got one ball, and the other is in the albert hall.

Russian banks [...] forex reserves
What happened to the ruble being the new world currency? The ruble is the strongest fiat currency right now. It is entirely independent of the dollar. It is backed by the Russian army that guards 22% of the fertile land, 25% of all proven natural resources, 50% of the drinkable water, and the most stable tectonic plate on planet Earth! O.k. I will bite. Are you talking about 50% of the world's drinking water being in Russia or some other location, and is that drinkable water valuable to export? Apparently, China has a water problem, and they are not very far from Russia.. so are you referring to that? I may well agree with you that water is an important resource that can be used in a lot of beneficial ways including manufacturing and production.. and fresh water tends to be more cost-effective than salt water or even other kinds of hard water or water pollution.. but I still did not consider that Russia would have much of any strategic advantage in terms of its water resources as compared with other places in the world... and sure, if we get a kind of attraction of the world's manufacturing and production to want to go to Russia in order to take advantage of this water asset class, that could be material and significant to current world happenings, perhaps? TLDR: I need better context for water superiority claims. Call me a dummy if you feel that it might help.

@Corey2140 To say bitcoiners aren’t intelligent is just false. There’s a reason why the 1% are the 1%. They did something 99% didn’t. When #bitcoin becomes the next global reserve currency, we are the 1% who saw this coming. We are the 1% who prepared for it. We are the new 1%. https://twitter.com/corey2140/status/1520871645182898182?s=21Love this tweet, very true!

After Warren Buffet's statements about the BTC
Warren Buffet and this guy Jorge have to be the biggest hodlers in BTC.......The more you deny an asset the more likely you are to be suppressing the price for your own gains. Mark Cuban owner of Dallas Mavericks and Shark on Shark Tank TV series was completely a naysayer until one day, Bitcoin was a great investment! It's possible that Warren Buffett is secretly buying bitcoin, and BRK will one day announce a huge position. Although...my bet is on Warren (or someone like him) being the next "clown show" during a new bull run. Here's how it would go down: 1. Price starts to run up bigly. 2. Warren Buffett 'begrudgingly' announces that he/BRK took a huge position in bitcoin, is somewhat optimistic, but still doesn't quite understand it. 3. Price runs up more, then eventually bubble tops. 4. Warren announces that he is going to divest from his bitcoin position, because a) it's a useless commodity, b) uses too much energy, c) he still doesn't get it, or d) all of the above. 5. Price crashes. It would pretty much follow the same clown show script as the Elon Musk pump and dump shitshow that we got last year. If not Warren, it'll be someone like him, someone very publicly visible. Maybe Bill Gates, etc. TPTB always need a new bullish 'patsy' during a new bull run.

My blind optimism have been right so far.
People frequently make that kind of a nonsense claim. there's a name for it. Isn't it called confirmation bias? You make a bunch of predictions that go all over the place, and then after events unfold, you say, "Look I was 100% correct. What I said was going to happen, ended up happening. Go figure!!!" hahahahahaha This thread would be absolutely NO fun if we did not have some folks proclaiming that they have always been right, so far. Here's another example: "Here's my post from last week. Look, what I said ended up happening. I must be a genius. In fact, I know that I am a genius. I just wanted you guys to see some evidence of how genius I am." Edit: I gotta admit it. Empowering largely already made a similar point as my above post, but he just fleshed out the idea in more substantive ways, while I was trying to be more topically neutral, if such a thingie-ma-jiggie is even possible? Is it possible? Yes, it is.

Whats worrying about this is that there are people who hang on every word these clowns spout. Which is the very reason the price acts so irrationally. Have people forgotten how to think for themselves? Honestly, the older I get the more despairingly I look upon the human race.

Nice script, however, both Warren and Charlie are more than one leg into their graves. I highly doubt it will happen

My blind optimism have been right so far.
Don't you understand that people allways will be more engaged in helping their own kind than other, more distant people with whom they feel no kinship. That's why the west is helping Ukraine but not Yemen. If you think people are color blind when it comes to people they feel kinship with, then you are the blind one.
Sorry, your casual racism made me throw up in my mouth just a little.. I feel absolutely no kinship with your pale skin, albeit my skin is on the pale side as well, but i do feel quite a lot of kinship with some people I know whose skin might be darker than mine. Gosh, talking about slight skin color deviations in the 21st century as a basis of kinship? Wow. In US most (or a large part) of the population have various degrees of chocolate-ness: from milk to dark.

Agreed. If I had to guess, the answer is no, and we are about to witness over the next few years , some absolutely horrific shit, and I am not so sure it is going to be isolated, or that "the west" is going to be entirely insulated. That is assuming there is not a big bang(s) somewhere before we get to see it. imo , this is not a dress rehearsal, and that people need to get themselves right, financially, logistically, spiritually. Its getting fugly out there both abroad and at home, and it seems that the darkness is coming and it wishes to take away your/our, happiness and security.. (if you have any) and that now is 100% the time that people need to insulate themselves as much as possible from what is coming. Sorry to be a downer.

We only gots so much time on this earth.... and the tptb , do not care about your/our experience/life.
The best you can do imo is get selfish to some degree and fight for , and carve out your own piece of paradise somewhere, not saying do not help others, I am just saying, if you have not been serious about carving out your own little piece of paradise somewhere... then , you better get on it.
