Basically, they forced all the exchanges to have a version of the stable coin as a 'sovereign currency' and to be allowed to participate in the US for example, they need to buy from the FED an amount of USD to counter the crypto they have on their exchange, or a part of it. They issue on the amount the exchange say they have "disposed" and they get a cut.  Shocked  Shocked
It works that simple !  Grin  Grin

Can you flesh this out ?

and or post source?

^ Something similar happened to all exchanges that wanted to be allowed in the US market. You get it now??  Tongue   Huh  Shocked  Roll Eyes  Roll Eyes

I always "got you" in what you are trying to say

Just wondering how you got there bro....and if you had any source to share, so we can all have a read on the details.

Also, when you say the exchanges, had to buy from "the FED", an amount of USD.... what does that look like?

@DylanLeClair_
A #bitcoin  dip down to it's realized price (average on-chain cost basis) is entirely possible and has been consistent with previous market bottoms in bear market cycles.

Realized price is $24.3k at the moment.

[1/3]

https://twitter.com/dylanleclair_/status/1523579493926899712?s=21

@DylanLeClair_
Here is a standardized ratio between market price and realized price (market value to realized value - MVRV).

24k would be in the green zone.

Again, dips to/below realized price have historically signaled a capitulation style bear market bottom is in (or close).

[2/3]

@DylanLeClair_
Going back to December, I outlined this possibility and prefaced it with the opinion that it's unlikely to occur unless a significant liquidity crises emerged in legacy markets.

Well, it looks like we're getting one.

Stay safe out there.

Finger on the trigger over the next 12 months boys. Be ready to get fiat onto exchanges.

I think this scenario is highly possible... and fits the way this cycle has gone the whole time...  That lets us have the large drawdown, but not as severe as past cycles, just as the top was not as high.  It keeps us up above the last cycle top, which has been consistent so far.

But I think a higher bottom is possible as well.

It is hard to imagine that the world stock markets are not getting crushed right now, and if so I think Bitcoin takes shrapnel.  BUT the wild card is people are also waking up to believe Bitcoin is "digital gold" So *SOME* percent of money is going to flow into it for safety, while the money that sees it as a tech stock is leaving.  That's the most interesting bit, I think.

I don't reckon, we'll get a covid like bounce before then. Fed will relent, market will go up, right up.

You think the fed mashes down the rates?

That's like giving the alcoholic who has shot his liver so bad and has only 72 hours to live some intravenous ethanol to ease the withdrawals while he dies.

Plus, Trump might have (foolishly) done that, but the current gang WANTS this to happen.  But I sort of hope they do it.

That's exactly what it is like, but it doesn't matter, they have too. When credit markets cease up they have to brrrrr. What is the point of controlling inflation when corps are going bankrupt through not being able to access credit and unemployment skyrockets as the lay offs role in.

Also most of this inflation is from fiscal spending and supply constraints. Monetary easing does not hit inflation as hard, minus asset prices that is.

Lets say Binance: Like 10 billion lets say last year??  Roll Eyes  Roll Eyes ... And for like every billion they would get like a 5% freebie or something. Or FED allows them to give loans as banks do. Because also banks buy from the FED?  Shocked  Shocked

*edit(): In a way it is laundering money and enforcing/backing all that trash fiat with pure gold technology that is crypto.  Roll Eyes  Roll Eyes

The Fed doesn't actually have to lower rates.

All they have to do is say they are going to pause rate increases, or even consider pausing rate increases, and the markets will stabilize and possibly go up.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm reminded of an Alan Greenspan interview I watched one time.

He said that during his tenure as Fed chair, his email inbox and phone message box would be flooded every single day from Wall Streeters, bankers and wealthy elites.

He said all the messages were yelling/urging/pleading with him to lower interest rates. Not one message was asking him to raise them.

Let that sink in for a minute.

So how long will the Fed continue to pump rates while getting irate messages from their elitist Overlords?

I don't like to say this, but we need to admit that there is no volume since months and months to put the price up. That's a fact.

We are coming slowly (or quickly) to the low 30Ks... I wouldn't be surprised now to go lower and see a real capitulation (maybe it's what we need to see before starting a real bull cycle).

20K means -70% from the TOP. Would be quite ugly, but in % it's definitely still coherent.

Patience, Hodl, and buy lower if you can.

Calm down pal,
Sometime I feel discussing about bearish trend in this thread might influenced many people to sold their coins. Since WO is known as many early adopters and strong holders, we should be confident enough and trust in Bitcoin.

That is fact just Imagine Even a Big Mountain is never like a Straight Slope. Because that will Weaken the strength of mountain and Mountain will never be able to Hold its High and It will fall.
