The guy is so full of shit. He distinctly stated on multiple occasions when he first launched ETC (now ETH) that he had "zero intention of making ETC out to be Bitcoin, or trying to compete with Bitcoin." It's clearer than ever now that he's just making it up as he goes along Aren't we all?

I'm far from the corn right now, but the WO is still on my mind.
Maybe a short term bullish horizon?

If we look at the past and his ideas about why he invented ETH, then we can clearly see that he wanted to change something dramatically in terms of making something better than Bitcoin. Almost a decade later he failed to do so and from time to time he comes up with statements like this to prove to someone that he is still trying to do something miraculous and revolutionary. A few years ago, he publicly put forward the idea of stepping down as the main man Boy in his project, but he was clearly not brave enough to follow in Satoshi's footsteps. FTFY Me thinks you use that term too loosely. "Code is Law, unless it affects my bags"

I pointed out that this dude is anti-bitcoin ages ago: I just want to point out that YESTERDAY I routed a $300 payment to Kraken. Sure works well while it's not working. (also I charges 10 sats to route this... not even a penny.)

It's been a fun few weeks -- in Bitcoin price action, and in WO. Too much talking (typing), too much analysis (astrology) from self-proclaimed "experts", while Bitcoin does what Bitcoin has always done from day 1: slowly climbing up the price ladder, slowly winning the monetary race, while weak hands cry "I told you so" and look for "a way out" in cryptocoinery. Nature has a way of sorting out the men from the boys, and that's exactly what's happening now. Business as usual.

Hey here's an idea, how about NOT pre-mine 90 million ETC before launch? Or how about not moving to POS?
Bingo. I attended Vitalik's speech at Decentral in January 2014 where he unveiled his plan for Ethereum. I liked his idea of smart contracts and multiple mining algorithms. At that time ASICs were replacing FPGAs and the idea of being able to mine with CPUs and GPUs again was appealing. The deal breaker though was the pre-mining. What a scam. I didn't get into Bitcoin to try to make money. I believed in the technology and what it meant for escaping central banking tyranny. I saw through the blatant money grab and while I had the chance that day to get in at the start and make a lot of money, I took a pass. I like having a clear conscience and keeping my karma clean. Fuck Vitalik (and his buddy Tony DiIorio) and fuck Ethereum.

It's clearer than ever now that he's just making it up as he goes along Aren't we all? No need to defend that dweeb in these here parts CookieFactory. Vitalik seems to be a bag of walking contradictions and in several ways engaging in behaviors to attempt to undermine bitcoin with his little scammy smoke and mirrors project.. Sure, sometimes he does seem to be admitting to various flaws in his project and the ways that it has been developing in terms of the Rube Goldberg machine that it has become. There does seem to be quite a bit of marketing in Ethereum that also includes Vitalik - even if he surely cannot be involved in all the various ways that Ethereum has been developed - even though he has likely been a major beneficiary of the 60% or 70% premine that they frequently like to either downplay or ignore like it did not happen.. .. which is also scammy as fuck and contradictory behavior. So, we are all not just making it up as we go in the same kinds of ways if you are trying to suggest that Vitalik retains some kinds of innocence in the various ways that he has benefitted from a very misleading and disingenuine platform that he had outlined, led and served as a figure head (likely moral leader - if that might be a fitting descriptor). I'm far from the corn right now, but the WO is still on my mind.

It is only bitcoin that can always be like bitcoin, Ethereum tried to be like bitcoin end up to be like Ethereum so other cryptocurrencies. Any cryptocurrencies that will try to be like bitcoin will end up to be something else. One of the quality of bitcoin is that nothing else can possess the same features with it.

People like Dudas either do not have any earthly idea of what "censorship resistance" is or they are anti-bitcoin or spooks. Dudas has turned his cards over enough to show that he supports systems that exercise central control. I can;t be bothered to find the quotes but he has said things that imply he is for things like wealth redistribution, and that sort of thing... Those folks don't tend to like Bitcoin because they are too stupid to realize that human's cant be trusted to rearrange personal property to make it more "fair". Of course he likes Eth.
