Went for the more Upscale Biltema food today.

That DOES look fairly tasty!  Did you need some spark plugs?  Or just going for the grub?

How would they get forced? They aren't traders on leverage. They are investors.
The only ones getting REKT ate the ones believing in fiat...

And the one who opens high leveraged future positions. I do not know why I think that future contract is a trap for greedy investors which whales used to gain money by manipulation. In my theory, BTC is the safest form of investment if you brought it and send it to your private BTC wallet for the next 10 to 20 years and never look at the price.

We are here to win, we are here for a long.

Btw - I'm curious what is the news. Or just mannered shorts liquidation?
3AC blowing their margin call, and BlockFi firesale @ $25M

Oh, before I forget, I wanted to add tokenizing Roger Ver's $48M blown margin as rvCoin - an additional insult of the absolute highest degeneracy - we are seeing VC-backed entities being utterly destroyed by contagion and being way over leveraged since things took a downturn.

I love it.

Flush out all the weak hands and degenerates.

I couldn't care less if we see Vegeta memes again at this point. It's all good and needs to happen, if it happens.

Stay frosty, my friends.

Oh yeah, speaking of which, Monday is two weeks sober. Dun fucked my liver up a bit from my day-drinking catching up with me. Going through a serious detox process, and seeing a liver specialist next week to get myself back to baseline values. Nothing the liver can't bounce back from, but I absolutely need to quit the alcohol intake to absolute zero during this process.

Life and responsible adulting can be hard sometimes.

Have a super weekend, frens.

Damn bear markets are long & boring. The only positive is these are the times that anybody with a brain lays the foundations for massive future success & wealth by buying. It’s quite surreal isn’t it, the way that most of us think compared to the average pleb in life. In a raging bull market lots of us are selling, confirming a comfortable life for us & our families, putting cash aside to buy back at a big discount when the bear market comes.
So many idiots buy during the bullish times & sell during times like this. It must be part of the brain where we are wired differently, our way of thinking. What kind of a moron is selling at these prices? Seemingly quite a lot judging by the price. Some people are just ngmi.

Any way, looking forward to 2024 & 2025, all the memes & happiness in this thread. {insert Ghana’s dancing pallbearer's gif).

Keep buying brothers of the wall. I do not want to see any mindrusting here, that’s an order!

This completely describes my most favorite part of where we are currently at.  This is a reckoning for people who have tried to shoehorn bitcoin into the same sorts of manipulative games that the big boys have been doing in fiat for 50 years (and more if you consider some of the aspects of monetary history).  And I wish I could go back and find a twitter conversation I was having with Caitlyn Long where we were going back and forth on rehypothication and I said something along the lines of:  They will try it, and they will do it the way it has always been done, and they will get burned and destroyed by bitcoin.

I did not really know for sure if I would be right, and now I do.  At least for now?  Will they figure out a way to work their tricks?  I do not think so, but I could be wrong.

I think fractional bitcoin setups (banks? lenders?) with the RIGHT parameters is a place where great money could be made.  But with no bailouts, and no lender of last resort the game board is COMPLETELY different.  Maybe the FTX guy with all the names will prove to be the one that figures it out, though I hope not since he seems to be anti-bitcoin really.

As to the alcohol.  I salute you. And will say, I am on my own "drying out bender" currently thanks to some recent bumps in my road that make that path much less than optimal.  I feel like you and I have both been here before... ah well. Gabaergics are my weak spot.  That one is one of the most dangerous.

Good Evening WO,

Just another Speculation in Speculation board.

What if $LTC is ahead of the time in terms of price action as compared to $BTC?

LTC just got dumped from some exchanges due to the privacy issue.  BTC doesn't have this issue.

Ah, that does make sense. What if something in BTC becomes an issue later on? What do you think about that.

Compared to Bitcoin it just looks like another dead cat bounce from a dying shitcoin Huh A decent 50%+ I'll give it that I guess. Didn't even make a new high against fiat in 2021...

It only reminds me of what happened December 2018 until April 2019, when Litecoin outpaced Bitcoin by 150%, until eventually making a new low by August. So if this does suggest anything, it'd be that Bitcoin is a due a strong bounce already, if some legacy shitcoins are already bouncing back (against BTC) with degen sepculation. Note the time-frame here, it was while Bitcoin was consolidating at the lows.

Probably most people forgot (or never cared in the first place) that during Bitcoin's consolidation between $3.2K and $5K, a lot of shitcoins were bouncing back already. It didn't last, but it was a pretty clear sign that speculation was returning to the market overall, especially when not placed in the right direction for the best returns, as most of them dumped 50% further against BTC by the end of the year.

If in doubt, always check the Bitcoin price Wink

Well, no recovery is in sight as the big companies are selling their BTCitcoins to avoid liquidation. May be this will stop soonish and the price will start to climb up again. By soonish I mean the end of the year. So it is wise to keep some fiat in case there is another 50% down from here. Nobody wants Vegeta memes again, but if we have to go through this pain again, at least we can keep some fiat and buy all the way down.
