how did chart buddy get 1269 merits?
People merited him at the ATH, and other significant prices, like 50k. I think I might have merited him myself the first time we hit 50k. S/he/it also started out with a thousand merits for being a legendary at the time that the merit system was introduced (January 2018). As far as post count, CB is coming to get you philip. Aka.. your days are numbered. yeah he does 24 a day. I never kept that pace. maybe I did 45k posts maybe 44k over 3650 days. so at most 13 a day. so even if i post my 13 a day he will gain 11 x 365 = 4000 posts in a year. he will pass me in around two or three years. I just calculated my posts per day as 8.3.. which is still pretty high relatively speaking... I recall when I first got on the forum on purpose I was trying to limit my posts to only a couple times per day, but after the passage of some time (maybe a year or so), I decided to let the goose more loose. buddy still gunning for my numbers
Maybe if you were just to do a smart-ass post each time that buddy posts, then you will keep up with that repetitive lazy-ass animated good for nearly nuttin bot...? or Maybe just do two posts for every one post that buddy does? It's not like buddy has anything important to say (or report), in recent times, anyhow.

Ah 25 posts a day just as a f u to buddy is a lot of fucking posts. maybe for a week or two but for years on end it is simply too many to do. buddy will pass me maybe just after the next ½ ing

I saw a simple but unique image posted by BitcoinMagazine. But for me Bitcoin is more than just economics, finance, philosophy, technology and memes. Because Bitcoin is now more liked by people from various circles so that it can lead to different judgments when they try to have it for a better purpose. Although I personally only like the three things that already exist in Bitcoin today, namely economics, finance, and technology.

And when the other node closed the channel they deserved every single sat they got, and Bob has all of those same number of sats PLUS fees on other channels.
Aha! This right here is what I was referring to as the "quantum state" that I did not clearly understand, and now do; that "sucked" liquidity has been moved to other channels I have. I actually understand it now! Thanks, brother!

Bitcoin is the center of attention of all circles. ETH Co-Founder Vitalik Buterin also spoke about Bitcoin. The more people, the more interesting. Hungry V. should better be discussing the security of Ethereum. Especially when it comes to PoS. EDIT: because quoting. 40 pages of WO later i'm finally back from family vacation. Just saying You picked the perfect time for a break. Didn't miss a fucking thing. Yeah, seems to be true, but i also became aware of @nullius no more posting to the WO? Not that i would be missing his posts, but... #nohomo

What's really going on in Amsterdam? I saw at https://b.tc/conference/amsterdam that there was a ticket sale that was still going on for four more days and at first glance I read that " Bitcoin Amsterdam brings the European Bitcoin community to the global stage and will also be a great opportunity to learn, engage and party with other bitcoiners. Let's all come together to collaborate and celebrate the greatest financial innovation in human history" Will the event be very big in the future? because the date listed on the front page is OCTOBER 12-14, 2022 • AMSTERDAM
