OK Guys,

Not sure why I feel the desire to tell you guys (and girl) this, I guess after lurking daily for about 18 months, I've tricked my psychie into actually thinking of some of you as friends.

Anyway, after consistently DCA'ing every week for 75+ weeks, I am officially past the "one in 100M" point. Unfortunately, in mid September I became literally one. My beautiful wife, whom I have adored for the last 22 years packed up her basic necessities and announced that we were getting a divorce. No fights, no affairs, no logical explanation. She had already set up a PO Box, a new bank account, and had a little less than ½ of the available funds transferred a couple hours before informing me. As of that morning I was 100% certain that we were in for the long haul, till death did us part. As of that evening I was a broken mess wondering why I was still breathing. I came to the grim resolution that she had not killed me (physically) because she didn't want to live with the guilt. And therefore, because I love her so much, I can't just die and force her to live with it anyway.

I'm broken. But I still got my Bitcoin and I am in the green... so that's nice... I guess.

That's very saddening to hear, so sorry for your loss mate - especially given the disturbing nature of cirumstances ("As of that morning I was 100% certain"..). I really shudder at that thought.

I could tell you that things will get better soon, and that you will find new love making your life bright and happy again - but then you'd probably find out that I suck terribly at predictions and it could make things even worse..
But rest assured that I and assumably all others here wish you the very best and we hope that you indeed will be finding that eternal soulmate for the long haul that everybody deserves at one point in future.

<insert words of encouragement and support that I lack in english>,

My monthly gas bill is now more than an hour with a high quality whore.

Madness.

I had to laugh at a comment in response to what our imbecile Prime Minister said. Rishi Sunak said "There are a lot of problems, we can't fix them all."

-"It be a good start if you stopped adding more problems!"

Is this where some bigger countries are also going, eventually?
Sounds unbelievable that people are able to endure this situation somehow.

TL;DR savings were basically confiscated, if I understood it correctly.

Observing @ $21,310
Are we going to suppress $22k 🤣
I last saw it at $21,486 and this meme represents me  Grin

Am I a Debbie-downer?  Why would there be any reason to get excited?

For about the past 4.5 months, we have largely been moving within a range of 0-25% below the 200-week moving average (which is currently at $23,861) with the current BTC price right about in the middle of that 0-25% below the 200-week MA range.

Perhaps there could be some relief that we are no longer testing the bottom area of the range, and I am not even sure if I could get excited if we were to make it 5% to 10% above the 200-week moving average - even though surely moving up (and even getting above the 200-week MA) is better than moving down and staying in the lower end of the way below the 200WMA range).. and at some point, we should be expecting that we should be getting sufficiently above the 200-week moving average and staying there - and maybe even getting somewhere close to the 100-week moving average, which is currently at $38,066.

There is a pretty large distance (of about $14k) between the 200-week moving average and the 100-week moving average, so getting between those two numbers, and staying there for a while might start to bring more optimism - in contrast to our seeming to continue to have ongoing difficulties in getting back above the 200-week moving average.. and sure there are so many things going on in the world - and even further purging that might need to take place in both bitcoin (mining and even some of the continued repercussions of exchanges fucking around with leverage) (and crypto - aka shitcoins) that might also continue to put ongoing downwards pressures on our lil precious prices.

Pretty cool, huh? This is actually in color, but it got lost during the copy-paste. It's made with bitcoin-chart-cli (google that).

The signal line in the last chart is the one that looks mostly straight. We are currently above the signal line, hence why MACD reads 533.

If you are going to chain this with watch, be careful not to leave it at the default 2-seconds because it's using CryptoCompare at its backend and limits you to 100K requests/month per IP. I made the mistake of leaving it at the default for a few hours and they blocked my IP and now they want me to pay $75/month for an API key Tongue I'm proxying the calls through one of my other boxes now (Tor does not work).

The API also has a stupid 250K requests lifetime limit on free plans.

I am not sure when but very soon another overpopulated Asian country will be on the list. Bangladesh's economy is going to collapse very soon because of the heavy corruption of the current regime. The country's reserve has been draining very fast so its native fiat currencies will fall drastically and people will be forced to use crypto. Crypto is illegal right now in that country. Already elites from that countries are transferring their money into USD and BTC slowly. Crypto awareness in the country spreading like wildfire when it was very low last year.

I guess.

I am sorry this has happened to you.

Some advice the ½ the money she left you. Needs to be properly secured.

From the glass ½ full at least she left you ½ the money.

I watched my parents divorce and from the kids viewpoint it was painful. If you have kids think about them for now.

god bless you and I hope that when the scar heals you move on to a better life.

Stay strong. Do not let this become something that hangs over you for a long time. Rather think of it as a beginning to a new life. Everything will be a bit out of control for a while but things will pick up again!
