About who are next to adopt Bitcoin:

Michael Saylor’s Talk at Bitcoin Atlantis 2024 in Madeira
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_dtCYRDL4yc

Michael Saylor can talk about Bitcoin the whole day and one can keep listening to him. This guy steals your attention while he speaks.

"One day I believe Apple, Microsoft and Google they will all integrate Bitcoin and Layer 2 protocols like lightning into there phones, into there computers, into there web services, into there cloud services ... "

...their phones
   ...their computers
      ...their web services
         ...their cloud services
There. Fixed it.

jbreher would be proud.   (...and the necessary OCD FTFY on your quoted post above.)

Quite interesting to think about below comment. Coinbase going down + massive GBTC sells end of last week. And that only managed to keep the price at bay.

”Did Coinbase do someone a favor?

Was someone's short getting blown out as BTC rocketed from $57K -> $64K in a matter of hours?
Who knows.

But what we do know is that it took $1.1 Billion worth of GBTC selling to keep the price flat on Thursday and Friday.”

A nice documentary for any traders here who still think derivative trading back and forth > hodling:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A5w-dEgIU1M
AND this is why when CBOE announced they would tame bitcoin it was not an idle threat.

Fortunately all they managed to do was cool it.

Which btw, this is what is wrong with S2f model as I mentioned back then, it does not take derivatives into account.

*far be it from me to say I told you so.

Protip: You are premature in proclaiming the stock to flow model as dead. #justsaying

Not broken just incorrect.

I pointed out originally that this variable was not part of his equation initially and IIRC you agreed with me then.

Bitcoin could break ATH upcoming week. Smiley

I also have this believe but if you look the market currently you would know that the selling pressure is actually holding back the market from breaking out $64k to $65k above, the buying pressure is low meaning some early investor are taking profits.

Which "early" investors who already hodled through 69k are selling below that number now?  There's simply no way that happens on this earth.  Do you mean "early" as in 'early this year"?

Not sure that is the early he meant, because early this year is not even early enough.

A nov 2022 that got in at 16k can make a solid profit . buy a coin at 16k

sell .5 coin at 62k.

you turned 16 k into 31k and still have 0.5 btc

But one thing again how do we know if someone at this point still hold till now?
Like some Newbie investors can't exercise patient to hold till this $64k except for the HODler's who know the real game in bitcoin holdings.

Following the news on the EU anti money laundering and anti terrorism financing laws, effectively in place from 30th dec. 2024, i have to say good bye to my Ledger Nano and EU based Crypto broker. I don't use EU regulated exchanges, so no problem there, but attacking privacy of self custody wallets is a no-no-no-no-no!
The broker isn't a problem, because i can DCA via exchange, though less comfortably.

The Trezor Safe 3looks good as a non-EU based ledger replacement.

OpSec trigger warning:
Who of you is actually already using it, and would you recommend it for cold/hot storage or both?

EDIT: Feels like we may get a Weekend-pump tonight. SOMA.

the Sunday wall report

pennant snaps in the wind
heavy cavalry to the van...the assault on the 0.618 continues

consolidation will present itself .....and i think the overhead resistance towards a new ATH might be tested once or twice before it does
so up and sideways at a random walk
steady on
