Look, we've had our arguments, and Rpetilia doesn't like me much because I call him out on his ego and challenge him, but I don't think we need to post pictures of him covered in silver kitchenware or make fun of his "castle" because its in disrepair.

Challenge him his ideas, theories, charts, lack of ability to admit mistakes, etc. But I think his mental health, real estate and photo ops are off limits, unless its in good nature.

+1

There's calling someone out on his bullshit, and then there are cheap shots at someone.

Most in here know by now that the property he bought is in need of renovation, but that's hardly a reason to imply it's a failed investment.

The moment to post the "ruin" picture above is if (and only if) he posts the photoshopped picture again, without mentioning that it is a shop. That'd qualify as 'bullshit', and it makes sense to counter it with a dose of reality.

This is pretty big news guys;

CEX (computer exchange) are now accepting bitcoin. They are a pretty big deal here in the UK.

http://blog.webuy.com/

Not only that though but you can also GET bitcoin instead of cash for your old phones games etc. Most merchant adoption we see has a depressive action on the market but with this if they pay out more in Bitcoin than they get in they will actually have to buy BTC! Even if they dont they wont be selling all the BTC they get like other places. Theoretically the majority of the business could be done in BTC.

EDIT: on top of that they are also trialing a store in Scotland as a pound free store and it will have Scotlands first bitcoin atm.

Sell the news !
While all news and publicity is good, this particular piece isnt too bullish as its just more money invested in a service thats in the business of converting BTC to Fiat.

my friends and family always tells me that I have such an ego, I know that I cross lines sometimes, but I've never seen a man full of shit as much as Risto, and I've never seen a man who try every possible way to try to escape his mistakes instead of admitting to them, I don't want to comment his shit anymore because I am sure that everyone on this board knows that he is just a clown full of shit.

Since when did more transactions (which are BTC==> FIAT) necessarily = good ?

You cant argue that payment processors and people accepting BTC to instantly convert to fiat has a net upwards effect on price.

I'm suspecting that if there is another big cycle of down action, the associated 'news' may not even be based on China. For example in the Feb-Mar cycle, the 'news' was all about Mtgox. Then the Apr cycle was about China. So maybe a next one would have something to do with the U.S. or with the USD exchanges, or some giant block of coins from the government or hackers being dumped. Chinese news seems to have a weak momentum now.

I've never seen a man who try every possible way to try to escape his mistakes instead of admitting to them.

If you are so interested in discussing about it, how about you challenge me directly on the mistakes you claim that I have made! Then I can answer. Perhaps you find out that a) not many mistakes have been committed b) I am admitting some of them or c) you just don't understand what I'm doing and therefore think it's a mistake.

What you and some others are doing is so common brainwashing tactic that I just have to stop it every once in a while. Have mercy on that MervynPumpkinhead for example. Until yesterday he probably thought that the yellow press articles were true! Shocking.  Shocked Embarrassed

In general it would be good to refrain from negative speaking, and it that cannot be avoided, check the facts first.

As for the state of the castle, I just today approved a budget of € 561,855 that goes towards the repairs in 2014, and allows for the small scale hotel and bitcoin meeting point operation be started in September.

Wow, that's great news! I was wondering when they would accept BTC as payments, once they added the option to sell goods for it I figured it was only a matter of time. I'm interested to see if it attracts customers who wouldn't normally buy BTC through Localbitcoins (due to not having a bank account, or other reasons), but may feel tempted if they can sell their (or other peoples Roll Eyes) gadgets for it.

Anyone else noticed that a news overview for the topic 'bitcoin', say on Google News, now regularly returns price analysis and forecasts by mainstream papers? That's a relatively recent development.
