Note to bears. The market can remain optimistic longer than you can remain solvent Wink

Same with the bulls though, no Wink Market can remain pessimistic longer than you can remain solvent.

Infinite supply vs. limited supply.

Ai, but who can remain solvent long enough to test those bounds ? I gather we're talking about being leveraged as a bear can remain solvent for an infinite amount of time without it, as can the bulls but maybe less so due to borrowing fiat from other areas of their wealth.

Anyway there's a reason the saying goes "the market can remain irrational longer than you can remain solvent" and doesn't substitute irrational for pessimistic or optimistic.

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

Wow. Woke up to crazy cheap bitcoin.  The universe must love me dearly.

Some news that might be having an influence, sky news has an article claiming bitcoin could be used to fund terrorism. Its from an article in an Islamic jihadist blog somehow connected with ISIS that mentions bitcoin can be used for funding. ISIS are using US made weapons and there are several reports claiming they're also US trained. Btw, the same blog entry also claims bitcoin complies with sharia law.

Meh- I can see this being an "issue" and it sticking as one for some people.... and Bitcoin is therefore bad because terrorism, but of course by the same logic $$ must also be bad becuse -  USD=BAD=BECAUSE TERRORISM.

I wonder how many of the local "terrorist supply shops" accept Bitcoin?  buy one get one free on a jihad special if paid for in bitcoin? ffs

(edit: rare Persian rugs could be used to fund terrorism, diamonds too, gold, artwork, etc etc maybe they should all be banned as well)

Bitcoin complies with Sharia law to the extent that it does not pay interest, there are other aspects to Sharia compliance that I personally am not convinced it complies with - but then I am not a muslim so don't frankly care.
On the other hand this is probably an NSA wet dream, terrorists choosing to use a traceable, open ledger to move their money about.

There's a lot of evidence that ISIS is just a western creation - seems to be the same 'rebels' from Syria.

Someone from the Daily Mail was recently busted pretending to be an ISIS supporter http://imgur.com/a/hXe7o  (Not Richard Ferrer as he moved on but the IP still resolves to the Daily Mail)

Anyway there's a reason the saying goes "the market can remain irrational longer than you can remain solvent"

That's mostly because the person who wrote it was an irrational f*tard and thought he was smarter than he was.
