I know yoú have been a long term follower of the DOGE community so i would like to hear your opinion.

... The answer is localization and allowing people to make choices for themselves rather than those choices being made by some huge monolithic uncaring entity.
The very enlightened self-interest which you [seem to] champion brought us government as we know it today. Simply because nothing else could have (unless you believe in something external and separate from mankind, like God, Satan, or Princess Twilight Sparkle). A truism, but worth repeating. No one sets out to build a skyscraper thinking "I'll build shitloads of stairs, hallways, lobbies, fire exits, elevators, escalators, doors, security stations, fire suppression apparatus, HVAC, etc., etc." But without those things, buildings bigger than a shack are useless. That's why all the mentioned stuff is made--not because some architect had a fetish for wasting space, time and money. And saying that your shotgun shack does just fine without an elevator, hallways, or stairways is not an argument to their uselessness. It's also not an argument for getting rid of skyscrapers and replacing them with shotgun shacks "because then you don't need to build elevators." When one person messes up, it affects a few. When Government messes up, if affects millions.
Huh?

Moreover, I don't see why it would be a good idea to use the bitcoin protocol and blockchain, rather than a separate special-purpose protocol. Using the bitcoin blockchain for voting sound like "how can we use a jet engine to make popcorn". Actually this is a bolt-on use for the Bitcoin blockchain that for once makes some kind of sense to me. Assuming we've set aside the issue of whether or not electronic voting is a good idea in the first place, and solved or accepted the issues you outline, what is needed is a trustless (or low-trust) consensus-finding mechanism. Providing one is the main innovation of Bitcoin, and it's a system that's already running and proven to be resistant to counterfeiting. You could roll a new blockchain or similar system for voting purposes, but it would be much easier to tamper with due to not having the huge aggregate hashrate the Bitcoin network has. Maybe it's possible to come up with a different protocol as you suggest, but I'm not aware of any better. If such is invented, it should have uses in the crypto currency field as well.

On track to reach US$670.
Before a pull back at resistance and then on to $5,000 some time early next year. A slow grind up is the best bullish signal beside higher highs and higher lows. I think there may be one more visit into the $500s before we never see them again. I hope so. I need to get the rest of my trading cash in before a can forget about Bitcoin for a couple of months.

So I just got back from a family trip to Disney World. My cell phone totally died on the second day so I had no internet for almost a week. Did I miss anything? According to the price it looks like it was a good week to take a break from BTC.

that all depends on the volume. if it doesn't go below $450 and there is high volume, I'm gonna bump up to 85% crypto.

According to the price it looks like it was a good week to take a break from BTC. It was an excellent week to scoop up more BTC, but stressful as hell. Not as stressful as it will be trying to decide to dump at four thousand or six thousand.
