we are not on the verge of any bubble...
at best we'll be able to hold 400, then have a decent rally.
I disagree and I will tell you why: Bubbles of days gone by were formed when lots of new blood came in to buy coins. New blood typically gets attracted when the price starts going up. It is a positive feedback loop. As for the situation right now I am very confident that we have the most "organic" Bitcoin use right now than ever before. ... It doesn't matter if the price crashes to $300 or below, the bubble is coming and nothing will stop it. In fact lower prices may just bring more people into the game because they want to buy in low... which will add more fire to the explosion. good analysis. but remember that all people coming in now and surge the transaction rate are also out with the same speed.

It seems that my prediction from 90 minutes ago about "NEVER again $400 was wrong?" Bitcoin may NOT be dead, hm? I may have to reconsider and talk to lil doggie (she's engaged in self-grooming at the moment, so I don't want to bother her), or attempt to bring in Aminorex's monkey for a more reliable reading on future BTC price situation?

This is a first in Bitcoin history. Not even 2011 managed to go that far :/ Before I'm accused of trolling: No, I don't think Bitcoin is dead. Far from it. But in all likelihood, it'll take a long time to get out of this ditch again. EDIT: week not closed yet, and I use hl2 as input not the traditional close, but it's pretty much the same picture either way.

10,856 shorts and longs went down today. pretty sure poeple at bitfinex don't have a clue what they're doing... Still lots of active USD swaps, though. With all this choppy action, it just seems like there are lots of traders (both bull and bear) who are either on the wrong side of the market, or are right on the cusp. Dangerous time to be holding any position, really. My eyes are on buying at mid-300s.
