If it died -- wouldn't there be bitcoin 2.0? 3.0? 4.0? that happens? faster and better than before? -- Bitcoin could be compared to the invention of the wheel - and now look at all the "wheels" we have --

It just had to get rollin' to get things goin' hahaha hahaha  Cool

How and why would the end of bitcoin (and any other cryptocurrency) occur? Value decrease? Legality issues? Different technology/ideas to supersede it?

I think, any coin would end up losing their value if people would stop buying and using it. Anything that people wouldn't want to use will eventually lose its value, this doesn't only apply to bitcoin or any other cryptocurrencies but to everything which people are using.

In my opinion bitcoin will die if there's a no human in exist in this world. If business man have not existed and if they not depend on crypto currencies. But in these days i don't think that bitcoin will die because the value of it keeps on increasing and there's a lot of people get involve here. Also, bitcoin becomes popular these days.

Bitcoin will die in a situation if it will be ban worldwide or if people are stop using bitcoin which i think is not possible since there are lot of people who trust bitcoin and are continuously investing in it.

For me, I think bitcoin will end if there no people who doesnt use this. If there is no people who doesnt need this but I guess Theres no people who doesnt need this. And One thing is if the value of bitcoins price will loss then many people will discourage about this, then it will be the reason that bitcoin will end. We have different reason and that was just my opinion.

There will be always people who are using, trading and mining bitcoin. This makes it immortal almost. The only thing can make this bitcoin era end is that a major error in bitcoin's code. Imagine one day all the bitcoin goes to the infiniti. This would be very bad.

WELCOME to the crypto world sir. That's how these crypto currencies are made of. Value is volatile and it may fall and rise unexpectedly and as to bitcoin's lifeline, it is still unclear if this mother of all cryptos would ever end because IMO, bitcoin's fate lies in the hands of Satoshi Nakamoto.

Many of the ways you've mentioned are among the most likely, I feel that legality issues could not kill bitcoin but could severely hinders its progress. Ideas to supersede it are really where the chance of it 'dying' increases. If a new technology is introduced that is even better than bitcoin in every way then there would be no place for bitcoin anymore other than perhaps for collectors.

I would say nearly every way you have mentioned could be how we see crypto currencies die. If there is no interest there will be no value.

Maybe if the government will ban it because of the comfort it gives to people in terms of financial needs. Maybe lets focus on its growth not by putting it down by negative topics. I trust bitcoin. So should you Smiley

I think future of crypto overall is a very interesting and important topic.. and I want to learn more about it...
From my experience, I feel that conferences could be a good way to learn. I found this one https://blockshowasia.com/ and I'm thinking to go, but tickets are not so cheap, but I suppose it could worth it... what do you think guys? have you heard about it? It would be really interesting to know what experts think about future

Bitcoin will die if there will be a global shutdown of the internet, IMO. Bitcoin and crypto currencies are functioning because the blockchain where they use to run to is using the internet. Investors should also stop investing and people should also condemn bitcoin or alt coins for good. But all of those seems to be impossible to achieve, right?

For example, how to kill bitcoin in the way the bitcoin site dies, I think bitcoin does not die because it helps many and many want to learn the bitcoin they need more income for the home. It also helps with home fees like of electricity, water and so on.

I think that the only situation where bitcoin will die is when there is no internet connection all over the world.

Bitcoin and Altcoins are not controlled by Government. Therefore, Although all countries in the world ban them, they can't die.

Bitcoin will die? Yes of course. But how? Bitcoin will die if there is another cryptocurrency that will rise more easy to use, has higher price and more popular than it have. Surely bitcoin will die and will be forgotten by many users if they transfer to another cryptocurrency.
