The only situation that might be the reason of the death of bitcoin is when there is no community or supporters that are supporting bitcoin already. This will never happen because there is a large community already behind bitcoin and other digital currencies.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

This is something I do not want to think bitcoin will die if its creator will turn off bitcoin performance but is it possible to see bitcoin development is very good and widespread in various countries and partly serves as a driver of the country's economy but there are still some countries that prohibit the development of bitcoin and I hope bitcoin will survive Grin

I believe that bitcoin could die because of a security problem with its encryption. There are rumors that with the new quantum computation, encryption could be violated. That is a possible end to bitcoin. Although probably at the moment the protocol could be updated so that it can not be violated.

Bitcoin have started since 2009 and it is just now picking up and started spreading steadily but we're speaking about end of it. However, for the question raised, I would say Bitcoin also has an end like paper currency when some other technology or concept better than Bitcoin comes in to place, this might take at least 1000 years from now. No technology is permanent and there's an alternate or replacement always in place but it would take its place when time comes and when there is a need of a new one.

Bitcoin will die if there is a big attack on the blockchain and it succeeds.

I think if the Internet disappeared, then bitcoin could die.
If countries around the world ban bitcoin, bitcoin will soon disappear.
In addition to these two assumptions, I think bitcoin will always be there.
The first two statements that you'e mentioned was agreeing that, Bitcoin will die and will soon disappear. But on the last statement you've said that Bitcoin will always be there, I mean what the heck. You're making your statement confusing.

Well anyways, honestly, digital currency is like already attached to the internet, so wherever internet is so as Bitcoin. What my point is, if the internet would really go down somehow, by a mysterious phenomenon, then Bitcoin would join it.

agree that bitcoin will not die and it is not easy to stop it because now there are many users and I am very confident that this will last.
If that happens then I will not feel sad for it already feel it Wink

Life bitcoin is based on investors interested in this topic. He will not go anywhere - this is an entire industry already, a whole new industry. The news for the fall is the situation in South Korea, where all the crypto-currencies were legalized first, then they looked at what a stir it caused, realized that this could pose a threat to the national economy if a significant part of people's savings go into virtual reality, and now they are thinking about this matter prohibit or restrict. If all this last year it all grew on the topic of legalization, now it falls on the topic of tightening regulation.

I think there are 2 situations where Bitcoin would die: if the demand in crypto money would stop ; or if all populations wouldn't have access to Internet anymore.

Btc will only die if there's another cryptocurrency or other coin that will surpass and will beat the btc.
Bitcoin is digital currency and it is dependent on internet to hold for long time but mate without internet it is not able to grow for all time but I think internet is not able to stop as a lot of other companies are running with internet. Bitcoin is having safe future but it is all about money to invest and signature campaign if you are not having money you can join it to make money. Bitcoin will die if people will stop investing in it and they will think that it is a scam but thanks to God right now no one is thinking like this.

Bitcoin will die of Blockchain dies. Apparently, this system is now adapted by many institutions. So no, bitcoin will not die. Don't ever start with me with 'if other cryptocurrencies surpass btc' because it ain't gonna happen. BTC is the genesis CTC.

The internet is the only requirement for a healthy bitcoin blockchain. The quality of the internet is also important. Then it come up like we need that internet connection, otherwise it dies instantly.

The biggest threat to BTC, is another Altcoin with Bitcoin's troubles solved. When people get used to use cryptocurrency, it will use the best. The point is that we have to be very careful and smart. I bet that nobody want to lose his money, that why we have to keep any problem out and focused what's the best for Bitcoin and us.

There is no exchanger, I worry if the Government prohibits exchangers accept BTC for money laundry, avoid taxes and so forth. If no one will use any cryptocurrency Bitcoin will die.

How and why would the end of bitcoin (and any other cryptocurrency) occur? Value decrease? Legality issues? Different technology/ideas to supersede it?

Bitcoin will die if all of its investor leave the cryptoworld. And I think that would never happen because all of altcoins will be converted and converted to bitcoin no matter what to be exchange to true money. And I think Bitcoin would never die unless there is a cryptocurrency that would match a head to head value fight with bitcoin.

Probably,  if people no longer believe in cryptocurrency or bitcoin and no one would invest to bitcoin.   Sad
