I have all my coins in on an online trading site (paxful) (low volume)

I plan on making a large investment very soon, and want to safely store all of my coins
I.E I basically want to drop a couple thousand, and keep them in the safest possible way, where I can revisit them in 5-10 years or so and reap the benefits, or cry about the loss.

What is the best way to do this, and what's the best way of ensuring a backup?

How do you currently store your coins

thanks in advance for any inputs

Actually try to use trusted wallet like coin base that is the best wallet that i i know and i keep my coins or btc in our wallet "coin.ph" this is the best trusted and fastest than other wallet in our country just hold bitcoins if you have .

For now I dont have bitcoin. But when I have one my friend suggested me that it is prefer to put your bitcoin in myetherwallet, because he told me that was the safest online wallet. Because theres a private key on it. That only you can actually know it. So if you just like to save your bitcoin and you dont what to cash out. You can use myetherwallet for you to keep it.
All wise people have the same strategy for keeping their bitcoin and other valuable coins save. It is not sagacious to keep all coins in one wallet because they can be hacked any time by any good hacker. It is always said that don’t keep all eggs in basket because if any mishap happens, you are going to lose all your eggs. I am myself keeping my coins in more than one wallets and keeping etheric keys in my diary.

I will not provide information about my bitcoin account. I will keep my private key well. I will not merely enter any site requesting my account.

If you are thinking through the process of accruing bitcoins, you may be wondering where to keep them once you’ve done so. After investing time and resources into the digital asset, can you be sure they are locked safely away for when you want to use them?

yes to be sure about that, bitcoins may be well-known in a lot of countries nowadays, however it will not stay that way for very long. trigger we're nevertheless creating when it comes to technology, society and more. we have the opportunities to make bitcoin as really worth as possible so that as quality value as much as possible, but it won't final forever. cause i believe that what comes up, should fall.

At the moment I using online wallet, but I keeping all data and other important information in my usb flash drive. I believe that it is best decision to store all important information at any medium. So many times it has been proved that those who store data at any media, they dont have problems with reliability of their savings.

*Hopefully* safe in a cold storage electrum wallet.  Honestly you shouldn't be using paxful to store your bitcoins op,  but it's your choice.  It's online though,  so the risk is far increased compared to other methods of storing your bitcoins.
