To clarify how to apply for a refund:
Just send an email stating you want one.
But i need to extra Informations:

Order number(s) > very important, saves me from having to look it up.

In case of paypal thats all.

If you paid via bank wire, i will need the IBAN and BIC to send the refund to.

Now to the most difficult case: Bitcoin
I have bitpay configured to Pay me directly in Euros so i never really received any Bitcoins directly.
To issue a refund through them i need to give them Bitcoins.
That means i have to buy BTC first to be able to refund the bitpay payments.
For all EU customers a SEPA refund will be faster and easier for me.
If you want BTC, i will refund BTC.
Please note that the current bitpay eur<->btc exchange rate at the time the refund takes place will be applied.
And don't forget to provide me with the BTC address to refund to.

burnin please give us some information for transferring an order to someone else and for transferring our orders into FuryBurners. Right now i have someone who is willing to pay more than 50% of my order and i would also like to buy some FuryBurners. Or just tell us if it's easier for you to refund us directly and then order the FuryBurners like everyone else.

I know it's very messy for you and i will respect all your decisions. Thank you.

As far as I understood him correctly ... bitfury boards are only available to distributors.

How about offering coupons for Bitburned refundees like friedcat does with USB miners?

You have to customize the avalon options for your number of boards. The first 20 remains but the 10 means i have 5 boards. You count your boards that are chained with CAN, regardless if bitburner x or xx and take that number x 2. In my case 10 because i have 5 boards chained.

Isn't the other way around? The first 20 is the number of boards multiplied by 2 and the next is 10 that is always constant.

Quote from burnin's site:
Quote
The most important option is –avalon-options which argument could look like this: 115200:16:10:35:360, this sets the frequency to 360Mhz for a 8 board cluster.

The first part is the baudrate, always 115200.
The next value is the number of miners, this must be the number of boards in cluster multiplied by 2.
Then the number of chips, always 10.

You are right...

Please ALWAYS contact me through bitcointalk pm before sending someone coins.

Well maybe he will run a small batch of boards and maybe he would sell them to his previous customers who didn't gave him any headache(like me) if we are lucky Smiley

If not then at least we need to know how to transfer orders to someone else.

I would like a clear satement from Burnin how he wants to handle those orders that
wish to convert to the Bitfury chips.  Are we to place all new orders with a distributor?
How will the 70% refund from the Bitburners applied?  I would hope that Burnin shows
the same loyalty that he receives from us customers who are willing to work with him,
and handles these trade-ins himself ot at lest makes sure that these customers are
taking care properly.  Otherwise would what be the point in not requesting a full refund
now?  Burnin, I posed this question now several times and I would appreciate a reply.

Searching for a total of 31 Bitburner-Orders (without Chips). If the orders get transfered to me i refund you 70% of the orderprice.
(shipping will maybe seperatly  refunded as not need by me).

best regards
Menig

I have an order of 10 full bitburners i think.. early 400 number. Not paid for yet, i assume i could give it for free if sebastianju refunds my order.

If you haven't paid, it is like nothing happened. Order No. is relevant only if you paid and burnin have your chips on stock.

I have not yet responded to that because i have not decided that yet.
Just to make one thing clear here:
if i do Bitfury boards or am able to sell the components/boards everyone will get those extra 20% (or even more) back.

And the reason for no full refunds is very simple: that money is gone,
or more precisely it is lying around in form of electronic components/boards/heatsinks/fans/mounting brackets/screws/cables.
This is a single purpose venture, no other branches from where money for a full refund could come from.
And it is in your interest to keep it alive so am able to liquidize those assets back into money.
Oh and don't get the false impression the other 50% is my margin, the 50% are just the material costs
on top of that comes labor for assembly.

Thank you for your reply.  And yes, we do understand the dire predicament you are in through no fault of yours, and
that is another reason I would like to continue to work with you and support you in your effort for us smaller miners.
I have followed your DIY effort for the  Bitfury chips for quite some time and am very interested in the Bitfury boards.

I hope there is no deadline for applying for refunds. I will wait your decision regarding the order conversion before applying for it or refund because i think it's a lot easier to do the conversion than the refunds.

Thank you.

How far have you been able push your 10 chip bitburner boards with cgminer?

Im getting a (5s) average of around 4Gh/s.. Im using part of the command found here buried deep in this thread..

--avalon-options 115200:2:10:29:415 --avalon-temp 58 --avalon-freq 415 --bitburner-voltage 1280 --avalon-fan 100 --queue 4
