How far have you been able push your 10 chip bitburner boards with cgminer? Im getting a (5s) average of around 4Gh/s.. Im using part of the command found here buried deep in this thread.. --avalon-options 115200:2:10:29:415 --avalon-temp 58 --avalon-freq 415 --bitburner-voltage 1280 --avalon-fan 100 --queue 4 That is around a 42% improvement over the stock 2.82 Ghash/s speed. WOW. Thanks a lot for sharing the settings. I will try to apply them when I get my miner. Do you mind saying which PS and setup your are using? Appreciated. Thanks Kano for adding. Its about sharing

I assume it's for the fans to keep it cool. So the people using avalon-temp 58 are doing it wrong.

So I think the way this works is CGM reads the temperature of the board if the temperature is less than target the fan speed is reduced if temperature is greater than target fan speed is increased. If you were to set the target temperature below the ambient air temperature then the fan would just run at full speed all the time.

To clarify how to apply for a refund: Just send an email stating you want one. But i need to extra Informations:
Order number(s) > very important, saves me from having to look it up.
In case of paypal thats all.
Burnin, When do you plan to perform the refunds?

Hi burnin, I am still very interested in converting my paid BitBurner orders into 'Furyburner' orders. What are the chances for this at the moment? You gave a quote for boards with Bitfury chips, but later announced that you were comtemplating to cease doing business with individual custumers. I want to thank you for your hard work so far, and the excellent Avalon-based design you came up with. Such a shame that the whole thing went belly-up due to Bitsyncoms inability to deliver in time

I too would be interested in converting my BitBurner board order into a FuryBurner order as well.

fyi: "Avalon Generation Two Chips 55nm Those who have invested in time and money on Avalon Generation One based devices and clones can rejoice in the fact we had the foresight to make Avalon Generation Two chips completely backward compatible in every way with 110nm generation one chips, which can be expect to go on sale Late October 2013 for immediate shipping. Avalon will no longer participate in any kind of pre-ordering. Developers and Hobbyists should keep an close eye on our github account as we will be releasing the 55nm chip specification and reference design soon" Might make everyone his bitburner viable again

I'd love the idea if burnin agrees as well. But first things first : let's see the chip and performance and decide after. We're also waiting a reply from him regarding conversion to bitfury boards .

This would indeed be a nice solution after all: If the 55nm chips were to sell immediately, have good specs and reasonable prices and burnin could assemble them without any hassle (of course any extra work should be paid from customers). Burnin, what are your thoughts on this?

I am in support of this idea. From reading the Avalon details on the 55nm it should be only a case of substituting the 110nm. Of course nothing is ever that easy and we will not know for sure until the full specs are released on github

Burnin, what are your thoughts on this? I'm no engineer, but surely some changes would have to be made to fully exploit the chips potential, whether it be voltage changes or cooling etc? In any case I'd be happy to let Burnin decide if he'd like to go this way or the bitfury route. If all is as Avalon claim then it would make a nice clean solution though, if somewhat late of course..no telling how late they'll be with that chip & samples etc.
