My Roadmap:
end of September to November - Bitfury 55nm
from early January 2014  - CoinTerra - 28nm

I'm interested in your take on the CoinTerra chips, burnin.  Is there really any point doing a board based on them?  Their quoted power usage per Gh/s is only marginally less than Bitfury, and it sounds like they're probably impractical without water cooling.  Sounds like a lot of hassle for no clear gain over Bitfury?  Or am I missing something?

EDIT TO ADD: sure it's a shed load of GH/s per chip, but the power and cooling requirements mean your chip density is going to be much lower.  By the time CoinTerra is shipping, Bitfury chips will undoubtedly have dropped in price substantially.  I think a high density Bitfury design might be more interesting than a CoinTerra design...

What if I want to have the boards to put chips on it myself?
Or wait until burning makes new Miners with the next generation of Avalon Chips (which are supposed to be backwards compatible)?

What if i want my Bitburners order converted into Bitfury boards (i think it's option 2) and, on top of that, to buy a few more Bitfury in one single order made on your site?
Is that possible?

Thank you.

I'm starting to understand burnin and the pains of dealing with customers instead of doing B2B Smiley

lol, yeah.  Although there does seem to be some difference in wording btwn Burnin & Cryptx which is resulting in extra confusion & questions.

I'd like to know what happens if when we convert the Bitburners to Bitfury and there is cash remaining in our account? (ie. original order is higher value than Bitfury order)  Is 50 or 70% of that extra then refunded?

Hi burnin,

I see you already closed the "a little while longer" order window for burners. They are listed as "out of stock". Bummer, you are locking out the finally now arriving group buy chips like that.

On a related note I am now looking for somebody who is selling a 10 3 x 20 chip burner order. PM please.

Why don't you read the thread first.
Five posts before yours there is a post with a quote from CryptX, which says that CryptX will convert your existing order.

http://asic-hardware.com/ is prompting for user/pass right now..
Does it mean that the site is on and we can login with our credentials from bitburner's site?

Nah, that's the generic webserver directory password dialog. They're probably in the process of implementing stuff at the moment.

Btw, if you tried to enter your account details there already, be advised you just broadcasted your login/pass in the clear over an insecure connection (no SSL).

The boards are out of stock and not a few members in my groupbuy did not order their boards yet. I hope they can do this when the chips arrive. I have 11000 chips that are still on order and a big part should go to burnin. But i know a big part did not order yet.

Please ALWAYS contact me through bitcointalk pm before sending someone coins.

I have 50 chips going from Zefir to Burnin yet, but only have orders for 2 XX boards, leaving 10 extra chips.  I guess I mathed wrong.

I'm not sure what I'll do about that.
