@chrysophylax, I think you were totally right about "Eddy-Thailand" from the beginning. This individual isn't to be taken seriously after this couple of posts. The most funny thing is this "pseudo-Latin insinuated threat" Cheesy. I had some hopes that he may have had a more serious intention. My bad.

But I continue to support the vision that also some investors that are in purely for profit can be valuable community members, if they're willing to learn and participate.

Is there any way to buy XCN to these prices for non-residents of Thailand? Wink

PS: In my opinion, however, to stop any scam accusation related to the September 2017 bug, the Cryptonite website admin should add a section or page about that vulnerability (for those that see this the first time: it was fixed and it's not a "systemic flaw" of the mini-blockchain scheme). Honesty wins in the long run.

From the get go Eddy seemed to be (to me) on a high horse and 'entitled' in more ways than I felt comfortable.

Mainly due to the amount of 'money' he perceives to be the thing that makes him important, Which is something I am NEVER comfortable with. If things were different with him and his 'team', then all is good, but as it stands they are not and even though I personally there is no bearing and I have no influence on XCN, I don't like to deal with this 'type' of person who feels they are better than another. Such entitlement.

As for the 'investment' - the word is misused ALL the time. What happens when you buy a coin is simply that you are gambling. Nothing more, nothing less. If Eddy really wanted to 'invest' in a coin, then PAY the developers and INVEST in the future of the coin via this one method, or another. When you employ Pallas (if obviously he was willing), to continue development and focus solely on XCN, THEN that becomes an investment. Otherwise gambling is all we are all doing when purchasing coins.

I am sure whether Exchanges or not, there are ways of trading XCN between one another. Maybe a Skype group/setup that could be the one place to trade between people, though most situations like that are bound to have their issues with those that wish to rip others off, so no matter what gets done we ALL need to keep our eyes open.

I can start a Skype group if people want, but I cannot admin it much as I have too much on my plate as is.

Just an idea thrown out there Smiley

Cryptonite doesn't have a company behind it. It's community driven. So, instead of complaining, why don't you do the support in Thai? You do speak English and you could relay here the questions you can't answer yourself.

It's easy, you are a scam

There is no community,

Like i have mention before, i trusted you,

but that wass a major mistake.

I hope you follow the latest news in Thailand about TDAX, ICO, BX and Scams.

Bank Of Thailand, driven by government advice, forced all banks with Thai license, to be very carefull with crypto. KrungThai and Bangkok Bank broke all relationship with TDAX. BX.IN.TH have to proof there is no currency on the exchange what can be linked to scam or ICO.

And yay, Cryptonite is under investigation :-)

And oh my Goth, you are an scam.

You are the talk of the day on BX chatroom, in Thai.

Maybe that explaine why your vallue goes from almost nothing to compleetly nothing.

Oh yeah, your website and communications form you and your friends, on this forum, have give the Thai gov, a good reason for start the investigation about scam.

Maybe we can talk later in Bangkok Hilton.

BTW, next on the list is Quark

Thai government forced banks to be careful with crypto cuz idiots like you are losing their life savings, and then complain that they "invested" and lost all their money. even though you didn't invest in shit. you're buying a coin. like buying a soda. just because you buy a Coca Cola from the store doesn't make you a shareholder or investor.

BTW,

I still have the budget in my pocket, and I need to make long term profit.

If some people have an advice?

But no quark, or Feather, Panda

But never make the same mistake like here, remember my previous post.

Buy BTC this is the best long term investment you'll get in crypto.

would you like to try trading XCN here? using LTC as the pair, we can try exchanging at these current prices:

0.1 LTC ($21) = 10500 XCN ($0.002)

i have Cryptonite and LTC wallets running now:

Does anybody made a test on live network with tx/s network could handle?
I would be very interested in seeing such test, if it's possible.
For example first good test would be something like this: https://hackernoon.com/stress-testing-the-raiblocks-network-568be62fdf6d

If it could pass at least 200tx/s, without choking, I would be keen to help you.

How would a test like this be carried out in normal circumstances?

The link does not show what procedures were to execute 30KTPS, nor does it give specifics about how to duplicate this on our own servers for our own coins per se.

Any idea?

Scrippted transactions to some predefined addresses?

I would be very curious to see how consensus moves on to make bigger blocks than 1MB. I would literally want to spam network, and see how it behaves. If it cleans transactions fast, and make bigger blocks propagate fast enough to the nodes, I will think about helping you out, with this situation.

I would like to participate to this test if possible.

I was an early adopter and believer on ETH platform, then suddenly code wasn't a law anymore. DDOS attacks on ETH/ ETC network killed my i5/ 8GB/ SSD/ fiber node, I had to upgrade to i7/ 16GB just to keep my node alive so I could keep solomining.

(OT, I remember staring at that silent i5 server thinking this shit ain't worth a billion)

Can we spam this network just to try what it can do?

PS. Eddie, please tell those regulators to first pick those low hanging fruits. Like the biggest scam there has been in crypto, it's listed only on Yobit and BX. Ticker is XPY.

PPS. And Eddie, please don't invest in it.

Btw. there is about 5% supply on orderbooks in bx thailand, maybe even more on exchange alone (24M XCN on sell side), so it seems all pumpers are getting out of it, for me it's good, but this exchange can't be accessed, could someone from there contact me directly? Eddy?

And about scalabilty, is it possible to scale up blocks to 16-24-32mb and propagate through network? Because I think, if we are really talking about scalable protocol it should at least scale up to 1000tx/s, it's a minimum threshold imo, and with 60sec block time, it would need around 32M blocks to scale to that number (assuming, that it's similar to bitcoin in tx size).

Btw what is minimum tx fee?

You need to do more research.  Smiley

XCN has some distribution issues, someone (mr 10GH?) was mining it through all those dry years at 1GH pool. And there's nothing wrong with that, I always thought this guy has some balls of steel.

Currently our block explorer says coin supply is 397m.

btc38/ aex wallet had 35xm of supply so something like 90% of all XCN was sitting there.

Speculations by antantti (tinfoil):

Aex couldn't care less about these six projects, for some reason ( 352m Cheesy) they just couldn't kill them. So they launched this 'airdrop' token (don't remember the name of it, remember to check if you have earned some).

AEX wallet:

https://explorer.digicent.org/?address=CVPaxGgsteGgucAnzmA7EeTj5hzaLCfb7o

Thoughts anyone?

Yeah I thought there would be something like this, most of supply locked, in god knows where.
So 35M coins were on AEX, which is now disabled, and rest is on bx thailand where there are 23M coins on bx thailand in orders, so it makes up about 60M coins.
Rest is unknown, yeah?
So one entitity probably has 330M coins... Fck me.
10GH ? How much hash power is it translating into gpus?

352m of 397m coins mined so far are/ were on btc38/aex.

And some guy who knew the flaws earned, how much was that, 21m? If you are reading this, please tip something to XCN tipbox, I know you can.

Block explorer, XCN has nothing to hide.

10GH is something like 600 gtx1070, currently the nethash is 2.8GH (source https://xcn.suprnova.cc/). No exchange but someone is mining.

edit: To all of you, before calling this a scam and attacking this small community driven kind of a project, please check your facts.

Hello Cryptonite fans

I have made a XCN Facebook Page, if you could take a moment to hit the like button that would be awesome! https://www.facebook.com/XCN.mini.blockchain/

If you all would like, I can make a Group for mining, development, and general discussion and link it to the page. I know most of you are too cool for Facebook  Cool  but believe it or not Facebook has a HUGE crypto audience.

also for you creative members of the Cryptonite community, we could really use some fresh graphics!

I didn't call it scam, just was curious about it all. No I dont have XCN, I wanted to buy it, because I see it as a valid alternative to all the shitcoins out there.

BTW. - does AEX have enabled withdrawals of Cryptonite, before closure of markets, or these coins can be deemed as "burned", because they have possession of it, and close markets?

I was secretly hoping they get burned or lost somehow but no, 352m was here:

https://explorer.digicent.org/?address=CVPaxGgsteGgucAnzmA7EeTj5hzaLCfb7o

50m moved here, this looks like it's paying out, only 4m left:

Another 50m, paying out, 13m left:

Hmm... So somebody is withdrawing it.
Ok... You said, that also hacked coins were on btc38/aex, but they have done nothing with it, but if someone would try to withdraw it, they can't yes?

I've seen "renovation" message (high-liquid asset, yeah so much they created some piece of s erc-20, to manipulate)...
They airdropped it, and didn't burnt them? Why? I guess, even tho they are worthless, they that they can really renovated, and traded, where they can dump them.

It would be better to bury down these 350M coins, but it's impossible now.

I explained the mini-blockchain to BTC38 again:
"Hello, thank you very much for your information, we will try."
At least they are trying to make it work fully, and not enabling the wallet without having all the transactions accredited.
