Do you save bitcoin for fun or for future purpose?

I save bitcoins for futures because i see a bright future with bitcoin i don't mind spending my bitcoins now and i'm just saving even a few amount of bitcoin because i believed that the price can go to its highest point like 5000-10,000$ per bitcoin so i think saving bitcoins for the future is what we need to be safe in hard times.

Iv shorted my btc once at November of 2013, next short should be when btc hits 10k , so im the future purpose guy, im using some btc amount tho to charge my steam account, but most of the times i prefer to use fiat than my beloved btc!

anyone who saves bitcoin for fun or thinks bitcoin is for fun, certainly doesn't know what bitcoin is. it is more than valuable enough to be considered gold and more than easy to use to be considered a currency.
and then considering how it has been growing and has potential to grow even more, you should only store it for the future.

I have Bitcoin and save it for future purpose but sometime I used it to buy something that's I need but future purpose is my main goal, someone in my country get the advantage from have Bitcoin when Bitcoin is don't have value, but the important things than all is don't spent your Bitcoin just for useless things the value of Bitcoin will increase.

I have think of it and i have save up bitcoin just a the small amount because i have plans for it to have fun like travelling didn't even save it for future purpose. so i wanted to know what are you going to do with your bitcoin if you save bitcoin. Why do you save bitcoin for? and why? what is the purpose why you save up bitcoin to your wallet and not to spend it.

I saved bitcoin for my future, and I believed once it reach 5000$ then 50% of my bitcoin which I saved in my wallet will be sell and the total amount of it will goes to buy a brand new house and build some business that can produced money also.

It's both.  I find Bitcoin interesting as a new idea which I believe will become more popular over time so it's great that a hobby can make money in itself.  But of course I think that when Bitcoin is more popular and is adopted in stores I'll spend it more (of course I will spend it in places that accept it, but that's not many).  You could also even view that future purpose as being fun - money might not buy happiness, but to some extent it does, especially when it's as convenient as Bitcoin.

Bitcoin could be so great for traveling and that would be fun.  Imagine going around the world, not having to convert into any local currencies, only having to take your phone with you and you could pay for anything.  So the future purpose could even be fun in itself.

I also do both. I got to know bitcoin on gambling from my friends and i found it interested that time because in gambling i thought i would always win but when it comes the time that i lose that is the time that i realized that it is not worth it to gamble all of my bitcoin. It is too risky . So when i got to know all about forum , i become aware on diffrent things about bitcoin especially about  signature  campaign , tradings and many more. That is the time that i focuse on my signature campaign and i do not consider gambling as a way of using bitcoin for now. I just work hard and focused to my campaign in that i post to earn for the future.

Considering the price of Bitcoin right now I don't think only one people manipulate it because it won't rise that much if it is only one person, also it is prevalent that the demand for Bitcoin is larger compared to other cryptocurrencies which also proves that it will be hard for it to go down to a value of zero. The only way that Bitcoin loses its value is when something really bad happen to it.

One person certainly can do it. It's Satoshi Nakamoto's possible wallets (the top 5 addresses on the rich list). Moving over 100k Bitcoins would mean a drastic price move, and probably a lower price in the end because it would mean the top 1 "investor", or the possible creator of Bitcoin actually wanted to get rid of Bitcoin and.. actually did it. It's like I had a company worth a million bucks and tomorrow I sold it. The stocks would go down for my company. Bitcoin is both fun and future. It's actually the fun future You can get it in so many ways and have fun while doing it. This forum is a great example.

Exactly my point, but i want to clarify one thing, I don't save btc for fun and i don't think others too, everyone here in this btc world are with plans. we save to make sure that we get the profit from it. Everything is fine as of now and hoping for the best in the future as well. In my opinion saving the btc will be the best option which we all should do.

Exactly my point, but i want to clarify one thing, I don't save btc for fun and i don't think others too, everyone here in this btc world are with plans. we save to make sure that we get the profit from it. Yeah its better to save them for future as price would be much higher at that point so if we start managing them to save from now then we could reach to a descent level in future as it will be very hard to get bitcoins either by buying or by earning when price of bitcoin will reach to the moon and its also an smart investment to make at a moment.

I save it for future purposes and not thinking of fun for a short time, though sometimes I go out by myself and have a couple of drinks in a bar with my hard-earned money. Right now I have 10++ btc stacked in my wallet for future purposes, and though that seems a small amount for some, here in our country I would already be able to start my small business and continue from there.

You are doing fine already 10BTC is a good amount of money, especially with the price this high, keep saving since it could allow you to live very well in the future one bitcoin skyrockets, in fact if you keep accumulating bitcoin it may allow you to retire early and enjoy your life.

Bitcoin is a blessing for those who don't have debit/credit card for making online purchases as they can do it very easily with bitcoins but the only issue is there are not many sites that are accepting bitcoin as a mode of payment but things will change in future for sure when bitcoin will become more popular.

Bitcoin is the best thing that happened for gamblers as you can use it without any hurdle and you can have the privacy and with the price ever increasing i do book my profits every now and then and i do grab it when there is a small correction in price and we do get plenty of time to grab and buy back what we sold,so in hind sight i do not sell but used to book my profits and i am saving it for the future.
