People usualy don't save for fun but because of need and will to have some funds for the rainy days and future that will give them the feeling of security. So, the same thing is with Bitcoins with the added value that Bitcoin is also an investment so with saving Bitcoins people hope for the future profit. If the profit means fun then I save it for the fun.
Everyone wishes to be rich so that they can have fun with the money they have and bitcoin is giving us an opportunity to become rich and that is possible only if you save your bitcoins without spending them as the price of bitcoin will be not the same in future and it will be much higher so saving them at a moment is the best thing to do to have a lavish and comfortable life in future.  |

For short and long term, anyway if you're claimed Bitcoin for fun only you are absolutely wrong since Bitcoin is currency and if you play with it you might be lose or regret in the end for your choice. But for long term we are already know Bitcoin has a potential for price rising up every time.
I suggest to hold for the long term, maybe people are interested in buying and selling as long as it is profitable, I think it tiresome, rest assured that users of the bitcoin continue to rise, demand will surely increase and limited supply so prices will go up. |

I have think of it and i have save up bitcoin just a the small amount because i have plans for it to have fun like travelling didn't even save it for future purpose. so i wanted to know what are you going to do with your bitcoin if you save bitcoin. Why do you save bitcoin for? and why? what is the purpose why you save up bitcoin to your wallet and not to spend it.

I save bitcoin for the future because many say bitcoin has a future great if I save bitcoin might be profitable in the future later and sometimes a bit of my bitcoin spend for fun

Preparing for the future is really the best reason for holding bitcoins,because I believe this is not the peak of bitcoin, so in the future bitcoin will become more valuable, and I can get more profit.

Never heard of anyone saving for fun, rather people invest and when their investments pay off, they can then spare some to have fun. If you chose to put the cart before the horse, I doubt you would ever be able to have the fun you crave. Without much ado, Bitcoin is an outstanding asset, in 2016 I don't know of any other asset that its value increased by up to 50%, but Bitcoin rose from a value of about $425 during the beginning of 2016 climbed up to $1000 by its end and for sound and formidable reasons. What else can one look for to know this is one of the best assets to hold for future gains! |

Bitcoin has a bright future and investing in it is a good choice, i save my bitcoin because i want my money to grow and with btc i can see that its possible, i think most of us are saving for the future its so nice to retire that you have money in your pocket because of your hard work although its not going to be easy. btc can be a short and long term investment depends on your strategy, i chose that until btc is existing i will invest my money and be patient for the outcome. |

hello guys.. i save bitcoin for both purposes.. for fun and future purposes also.. for fun because even i earn i small portion of bitcoin doing captha jobs and entering faucet. it's relieve my boredom and stress.. also i'll try to bet a small amount of it in keno and lottery games.. its very addicting and fun..and also if i gain enought bit, i'll hold it for future purposes. like nuff said maybe the value of it will be rise in the future..

You can save for fun, you could save to take a vacation in an exotic place you always wanted to visit, or you could save to buy clothes or video games, phones computers or almost anything that gives you personal satisfaction, so saving is not only for those that want to take preventive measures. |

You can save for fun, you could save to take a vacation in an exotic place you always wanted to visit, or you could save to buy clothes or video games, phones computers or almost anything that gives you personal satisfaction, so saving is not only for those that want to take preventive measures. I think its good not to spend them on buying clothes or video games as that can be easily done with fiat so it would be best if you try to save them for future and try grab maximum benefits when you see higher price by selling them at a right time. |

i think i personally use bitcoin for investment purpose, as in preset time bitcoin is one of the best facility to make money. Most of the people are treating bitcoin as an future investment and that is the reason they are showing interest in investing their money into it as they know that the price of bitcoin will go higher in future which will give them best returns on their investments so saving them long is the right thing to do. |

I use bitcoin as an investment. bitcoin now become one of the very profitable commodity. bitcoin price movements were so fast we could take advantage of margin buying and selling prices.
If you are a full time trader then this is the best time to buy bitcoins as price has gone down since yesterday and it is predicted that it will touch the price of $1300 in coming days so it can give best profits in quick time and if you can manage to save them for long term then it can give you really huge profits. true this time prices have decreased. if you are a trader might now the right time to buy and then hold it because according to my predictions the price will go up within the next few weeks |

Yeha was the most correct. Because everybody will be thinking in the future and also in the present, so most people who use the bitcoin are those who are thinking of investing in the future, because the bitcoin has potential which is pretty good in the future. Just waiting for the right time to get a good profit in the bitcoin. There is no thing more fun by getting a big advantage in the bitcoin/place used for investments |

Well actually i planned to keep my bitcoins for some purposes. A purpose that can make my life happy and fun, like for travel purpose together with my friends and my family, buying food, dress to wear and home to live. And well also i would keep my bitcoin especially in my future. But sad to say i just have a small amount of bitcoin now, but soon i can collect and keep more bitcoins 2 times from what ive expected.

no invest purpose , just commemorate
If thou must invest in something such as bitcoin, you should have an objective which in this case for you to make profit. No investors would invest on something that don't have a benefit for them. |

I save it for future purpose, but also to spend some in online stores that accept Bitcoin.
Most of us probably save it because we see it as a good investment and there's nothing wrong with that.
nowadays maybe people start thinking about future investment as they have seen how the bitcoin price move up so fast more than any other currency even stocks. bitcoin has reached the highest price , and people feel full optimistics . i just doubt if in the next few months bitcoin price dropped , will they keep being optimistic? Why next few months you need already the bitcoin price is dropping slowly. Today price is 1183$. Don't know where it will end on this weekend. I think again it will go back below 1100$. I am not sure, but it's my prediction. I don't know the exact reason why it's falling. But for long time investment is not safe. It may reach your expectation, or it may spoil your dream anything can happen. In order to become a successful investor and trader you need to have some ego, you need to be able to say, I know what I’m doing and everyone else is wrong, so if you believe in bitcoin you need to hold even if the price gets lower because as we have seen after bitcoin touched those low prices it did only one thing to go up. To become a successful investor you have to assess the market and have enough knowledge about the business you are doing and also follow the trend weather currency is going stronger or not. There is no point in holding up bitcoin when prices are going down and you already buy it on a higher price. you have to sell that coin to reduce your margin of loss. Saving bitcoin for future is good but only if you have the guts to not to worry if the prices are getting too low. |

There is no point in holding up bitcoin when prices are going down and you already buy it on a higher price. you have to sell that coin to reduce your margin of loss. Saving bitcoin for future is good but only if you have the guts to not to worry if the prices are getting too low.
But those people who were holding their bitcoins tightly when the prices were trading below $300 levels are now enjoying their benefits. I'm not seeing any problem in holding bitcoins in all types of fluctuations as bitcoin prices are always bouncing back to higher levels. Unfortunately those who are closely watching prices are making panic decisions and regretting later. We just need to follow Mr. Satoshi Nakamoto like how he's holding his bitcoins, we can also become successful just by holding bitcoin for long times. |
