Do you save bitcoin for fun or for future purpose?

I would like to consider it as fun because i really cannot see or feel the asset but can view it ,but it does have series monetary valuation and so i would use it as an asset as well for my future and hope it will make some changes in my life and the price grows from this valuation.

It's both.  I find Bitcoin interesting as a new idea which I believe will become more popular over time so it's great that a hobby can make money in itself.  But of course I think that when Bitcoin is more popular and is adopted in stores I'll spend it more (of course I will spend it in places that accept it, but that's not many).  You could also even view that future purpose as being fun - money might not buy happiness, but to some extent it does, especially when it's as convenient as Bitcoin.

Bitcoin could be so great for traveling and that would be fun.  Imagine going around the world, not having to convert into any local currencies, only having to take your phone with you and you could pay for anything.  So the future purpose could even be fun in itself.

I am saving bitcoin for future purposes, I wish I could buy house and lot someday using this and I konw nothing wrong on dreaming... I usually adds it on my savings so whenever I need to purchase important things, I could buy them easily. I can use it on upgrading my hardware components and other electonic device.

I save  because of the latter reason which is for future purposes. I can pay bills through s as alternative which saves me money(for I will not touch the money I had in bank and the income I earned from work) and time going in the establishment where I pay the bills(I pay the bills through 7/11 stores which I was near with). Moreover, I'm Planning ti buy a gaming computer so I will earn and work  harder than before.

i was saving some amount of bitcoin from almost 2 years and it is very good for me. it has gave me almost double profit since then and it will help me in difficult situations. i have a desktop wallet for saving and i save a small percentage of  my earning to it every month. i think in future i will also invest those bitcoin into trading to make more.

Saving bitcoin for a long time for me was never really a plan for me, I am the kind of person that snags an opportunity when I see it, means that I want to have a sure thing right now rather than dreaming of having more in the future.

The future of the bitcoin right now is yet unclear even if people say it is bright they are not the ones who control its price, there is a saying where I come from saying a bird in hand is better than ten on a tree, I am not trying to trigger anyone this is just my opinion and I am just sharing it.

I hold Bitcoin incase the price goes up a few thousand dollars. When the pirce reaches around $3,000 per Bitcoin then I would purchase something nice, although if the price actually went to that price I am pretty sure that I won't feel like spending it because it's really expensive.

maybe you'll get bored when using bitcoin only for investment then just hold bitcoin. using bitcoin for fun occasionally may make you do not get bored. so it was a good idea

I'm saving bitcoins 2usd/week starting January 1, 2017 to Dec 31, 2017, so its a total of 52 weeks in a year so I have 104 usd worth of bitcoin all in all, Its only small amount but I can use it for future purposes not bad at all, I just read this strategy in a financial Facebook page and I think its a great idea.

Not all users but most of it are saving up for the future but in my case i cant save up too much because i actively spend it because i need funds on weekly basis.I do save but end up of using it on the end of the week which i cant do anything as my needs/bills are on priority too but i still have some alts to keep same as yours.

I agree, bitcoin is fun and good for the future. after knowing bitcoin, I'm not interested anymore for investment like: gold, silver, stocks, land and so on. I'm optimistic that the future bitcoin will be great and new currency of the world replace some legal currencies.

Right now I'm not holding any BTC but I'm thinking about doing it, maybe some % of my daily income but I still don't feel that is safe holding BTC I think it's better to save money in the bank... however the potential profit of holding BTC is huge that's why I may start doing it.

Right now the price of bitcoin is high but at the same time is lower then in the most recent weeks so this seems like the right time to buy some bitcoin and wait for some easy profits in the next weeks or months, but like with any investment there is a risk of losing some money so you need to take everything into consideration.

Honestly i am saving my bitcoin not too fun purposes, i really treat my bitcoin efficiently. Now i am saving my bitcoin from Signature campaign (income) in my online wallet. But i will use some of it to important or urgent needs. Even though indirectly my activity to keep saving my bitcoin as like a future investment purposes, because if i hold it i believe that the price will increase time by time.

Kinda curious which awareness make you amazed and consider that as a great awareness given by your country whereas here, bitcoin is not that popular that even among 1000 people you might have met, they don't know what's bitcoin and even if they do, they barely know the use of it. It seems that your country has opened the way for bitcoin to be at least an alternate currency there. But if about most of big company has put their attention towards bitcoin, it's definitely not right, there's still a little amount of them who implement bitcoin to their companies.

Bitcoin is not just future money it's more than an investment for future. Most of the people who invested got more than double in just some months. I'm saving up bitcoins to buy a car and hope to get it in near future.

Yeah the same to me. I'm saving up so in the future I can have the funds necessary to buy more games and consoles to further develop my YouTube gaming channel. As soon as I receive my YouTube paycheck I buy 0.3 btc. I am taking advantage of the price when it's higher than normal, that is when I convert my bitcoins to cash.
