Do you save bitcoin for fun or for future purpose?

I don't really hold much Bitcoin inside my wallets. I usually have different coins within my wallets that are placed on the Altcoin exchanges. When the price of the Altcoin goes up, the amount of Bitcoin within my wallet grows and then I could just change it from whatever Altcoin it is and get Bitcoins for them.
It is a risk while people say that an exchange could shut down at any second, I am like "Isn't it the same for anything else?" lol.

I am saving bitcoin for future and if the price of bitcoin really got into peak price value I must be willing to cash ot out 50% of it, just for fiat money and invest a computer shop business. Having this good plans is really challenging and I know thats not the goal of other who are using this kind of currency but, this is the better options that I think profitable for the future. That business plans is better in order to have passive income,  and if ever It has progressive results in a long run I will invest bitcoin again for holdings and circulate.

I save bitcoin for future purpose.  Saving it for fun is just a nonsense, I would rather use it in gambling and have fun myself than giving in to the idea of saving bitcoin for fun   Though I admit collector would love to save them for a hobby and it is fun and entertaining for them.  Sadly collectors blood does not run in my vein so saving BTC for fun does not entertain me.

i like to explore the best of both worlds with a daily usage of my bitcoins for my mobile top ups, shopping online or local super markets. And just to grow my bitcoins i gamble for fun. Saving bitcoins is not an easy hurdle especially if you own a small stash of them.

Definitely I save bitcoin for future purposes.  There are lot of speculation that Bitcoin will increase upto 100k USD.  If that happen a single bitcoin can make me rich in my country.  So I started saving it and have my self some bitcoin for cash out in the future when it hit 10k USD.

I also save some of my bitcoins in exchanges,though it is risky as what OP said but I do also engaged in altcoins trading. Whenever there is an opportunity, I can buy easily. Also some bitcoin is saved on our local bitcoin exchange wallet for easy transfer and withdrawal locally and for future purpose.

I don't count Traveling as fun because we travel for a reason, but if you think that spending the bitcoin for visiting other countries then this is another thing which I don't, I save my bitcoins for future purpose, I believe that bitcoin has a better potential to reach $2k in the near future and I have left them in a wallet which can be as a backup for emergencies situations.

I am saving 20% of my daily income for my future of my family and balance i convert them in fiat currency and meet my family expenses and some i keep for trading , investing in ICO and some in playing sports betting

I prefer saving bitcoin just like you and the main purpose behind my saving is for the future. I am positive about bitcoin and I am sure bitcoin price will be sky high within the next 5 years. It may go up to a certain level which we are not able to think today. So with this hope, I am saving bitcoin and not investing it anywhere apart from trading.

I have a dream of buying something luxurious for myself and family in future and I am sure that my bitcoin savings will definitely help me to reach that dream and make it a reality. Consider bitcoin price which could significant increases in few years, then it suitable as savings for future purposes.
Yeah, who decided to hold bitcoin should have faith in it as the market fluctuations could affect your decision, the best way is saving without looking at the price, and never sell it to get profits but wait until certain time.

For me it's both. I save bitcoin for fun becuse I used it in gambling. Some cases I won in gambling and sometimes are not. If my investment was doubled in gambling I will save the half and the rest will be gamble. If I lose i wil withdraw again and play to win again. Before when i was not trusting bitcoin before i was thinking to save bitcoin for fun because someone can accept bitcoins before and buy but when i was confirm that bitcoin is real money the help of this forum..
it helps that bitcoin is money and now more merchant are accepting bitcoin as payment and i think more merchant in the future will accept bitcoin as paymen i can use the bitcoin to buy domains in namecheap is the number one that i want ..

and did you think through the case if the bitcoin price went down and not up? your money would be just gone and you wouldn't have anything saved for the future what might be really problematic if you hold most of the savings in bitcoin, that's why I'm so careful with bitcoins.

well yeah, it might be beneficial if the price is going to keep on growing over time, but it wouldn't be good if you do it too much, because you shouldn't forget that bitcoin is still pretty new.

You have too much expectation if you expect bitcoin to reach 100K in our lifetime. 10k can be attained but that would be stretching it already. If I were you, I will hold more bitcoin than expect it to reach unimaginable price.

No I don`t save even thou I think that is smart thing to do. I decided with myself that I wish to enjoy in life and what life offers me, for that we need to spend money to buy all pleasures that we wish. And my strand is pretty clear on this, you can see it my comments, rich people can save and saving is for people with very high income, they can pay everything, have fun and to save money on the side, I can`t cause all money i earn I spent on little bills, needs, and little what is left on little fun.

Man, I try to.  But lately I've been buying stuff with it, and I really try not to when I have cash in my bank account.  Cash isn't going to do me any good to save it in a bank, and I invest cash when I can.  Bitcoin, to me, is for saving.  Not spending.  And no, I don't have any great plans for it, other than to sell it at a higher price than I bought it at.  And now that Circle shat the bed, I can't even buy it anymore.  Those fuckers.

I save bitcoin for welfare and long-term investments. Bitcoin has a good financial prospect. I believe asset management is paramount in life or you will continue to work for rest of your life. 40% for daily savings, 10% for investments, 30% for trading, and 20% for daily needs. It was difficult, but as adults we have to think about family future, buying something unnecessary will always happen, and this is included in 5-10% for daily needs.
