https://c-cex.com down again  Undecided

The URL when they do maintenance is "https://c-cex.com/?id=addingcoin"

I guess that makes me less nervous, it means they do maintenance when they add/remove coins from their website.

Some people get paid by other coin creators (Monero, DASH, etc) to FUD competitor coins ..

Also note that logically TorCoin is probably one of the LEAST LIKELY coins to be scam, for the following reason: uniqueness

If you create a coin called 'HEAT' then it is easy to pump it, dump it, and the create another coin like 'MEGAHEAT', ad inifinitum.

But there can only be one TorCoin; it has value from its uniqueness.  Therefore it would make no logical sense to pump and dump it - for the creator, it makes much more sense to hold longterm for value.

Staking is available but not really needed right now as the reward for staking at the moment is very low. you are better off mining

I need c-cex to come back up, I just deposited a bunch of btc and I want to buy Tor since it's so cheap right now. For the past few days it was trading at nearly double what it's at now, great time to buy in. It will be back up before too long.

Since staking helps the tor network, I think it should be more of a thing on this coin.

is this coin more anonymous than XMR if so, how so?

Can I mine with a Nvidia Crap-hics card lol, I am currently using CUDA to mine zclassic, can I use that miner to mine this coin?

Good plan. The only reason it is down is because of C-Cex issues.

XMR has serious usability issues - they don't even have a Windows gui wallet.  Also, their code is very hard for exchanges to integrate, which is why you can't buy XMR on ShapeShift.  TorCoin is far better than XMR and improving all the time with a focus on end-user adoption and usability, as well as being very easy for exchanges to integrate.

The price is laughably undervalued right now. This project is going to pay people through staking to run a Tor Node. I expect the number of Tor Nodes in the following year who are staking with Torcoin to increase exponentially. Because of Torcoin, the Tor Network is going to be just as fast as the regular internet. The official Tor Project is going to be praising this Coin in the near future when they see how much it helps their network.

I mean seriously, the only motive for running a Tor Node without Torcoin is what....altruism? That's all nice to think about but I think money will attract all types of people to run a Tor Node. It could be so big years down the line that everyone is using Tor instead of the normal internet and running a paid for Tor node through Tor Coin. This could be the future of the internet. Why just use the normal internet when you can stake with Torcoin and get paid to make the internet better? The idea is absolutely brilliant.

WTF!
You didn't answer any of his questions.
Instead you wrote bullshit AGAIN about XMR not beeing implemented to shapeshift. I guess one has to doubt your knowledge about cryptos and especially your willingness to learn - I corrected your wrong statement quite a few pages back already.
Monero IS IMPLEMENTED to shapeshift and IT WORKS. https://shapeshift.io/#/coins

If you look at the charts Torcoin is bound to shoot back up just like Litecoin did last night. Both coins were testing support levels for nearly all of yesterday with no one buying, then last night litecoin broke free and everyone bought on the way up. No reason Torcoin shouldn't do the same. I'd get it now while it's cheap, I have.

Be careful comparing litecoin to torcoin. Litecoin has a massive market cap, millions traded daily, a community and genuine use cases. Segwit maybe one of the reasons for the run on litecoin. That's why I bought last week, not last night.

Well not only litecoin but look what a lot of other altcoins did. They hovered around their 1 week lows for a day, then everyone all the sudden bought on the way up!
