If you don't mind some element of FUD, I would say such news is not significant for few reasons:
1. Luxure is a very new brand, just registered in 2016.
2. Where is the evidence of any 1 billion value?

Nevertheless, still a good start.
The team should not be carried away by such small achievement.

I don't want to speculate on China meeting, but good that the team continue to maintain its focus on China.
I strongly encourage the team to continue to find ways to work with the Chinese counterparts.

They are doing busines with reputable sources , so I am sure debt collection is not an issue, in the existing legal framework for thos businesses.

This is not like the BTC lenders scamming eachother, they are all known and trusted parties.

This shows that why is this a failed project. These scammer kids have no knowledge about Bitcointalk. Jahi Grant is part of the team, as you can see his reaction from that post he talks like a little kid and try to shill his scam project. No wonder why this coin failed. There's nothing more than newbies shilling here. No professionalism at all, just a big circle jerk.

Jahigrant has much room to improve his level of professionalism.
But that does not mean the project is scammy.

If the team can conduct themselves professionally, then the future will be easier for the project.
Conducting themselves professionally means they will be able to approach more business segments and people.

From the whitepaper, there are 3 ways to secure the loan, i.e. debenture, director's guarantee, and insurance.

I suspect the kind of invoices they will be attracting will be high-quality stuff, which should be good as Populous should not risk being a brand name that sells junk invoices.

We must remember we are still in ALPHA stage correct? This is very early on in this project so we should all be patient and give the POPULOUS DEVELOPMENT area time to make things happen. I think the price is still relatively cheap and perhaps it is a good idea to purchase more at this time before the BETA phase is rolled out.

The same here, I was lucky, I already sold each PPT for 0.021 ethereum 25-30 days ago on etherdelta. I never bought them back. I don't trust the owners. They made disappointments during their bounty campaign and they didn't keep their promise.

Populous seems legit thing I grabbed few more token just to offload some other tokens because this will go more high. This system truly awesome once this platform will go live for invoice trading than this market will grow over $1b from my point of view it is really secure at the moment.

If have not all details about this, lets say worstcase the money is lost, (and I not know exactly all plans POP to minimize the risk) then your investment is lost.(simple as that)

For this reason it is very important not to invest in a single or several invoices, spread out your PPT-Pokens over 20-50 investments.

POP introduced already into there Alpha-Software a feature called group-bidding where you can invest with a group of investors in a single invoice with small number of PPTs.
Do this on 20-50 group-biddings and you have minimized your risk, if one borrower can not pay you loose only a fraction of your invest and the other 99% invoives which pay-back plus interest will
pay back what you lost.

But there also other precautions you can take (together with that what POP will provide on top) :

Take
1) Borrower which is well known on the platform to pay back in time
2) Borrower which has good reputation
3) not a new Borrower
4) Borrower from a "good" industrie(Pharma-Industrie is better than as Nigthclub,  a little craftsman business is better than a newly opened webdesign office, etc ,etc
5) A invoice with > 25% interest  is also not a good sign...

Also I realized today that not more than 4-5 people that write here have realized the dramatic opportunitie of Populous for us.
The rest of the people may have only understood 10-70% what Populous is doing, and what the value of PPT is.

  I personally can't ask for more... a partnership with a company that facilitates the purchasing of goods worth over £1b a year; they take a commission of 5%(£50m) and hopefully will be selling that on the PPT platform,instead of getting charged over 30% by the banks they'll only be charged single digits by us we're so kind. it's a win win for both parties;and you better believe others will take notice

Imagine if steve can clench a few dozen deals over in china


I know the chart isnt reflecting the news,why?  

1. manipulation? possibly.

2. the crypto world doesnt take notice of a tiny east london based finance/invoicing company  because it's boring and theirs no hype around it.
