Pre-ICO did not sell out in hours. This was very under the radar.

Comparing Bitcoin to Populous is just stupidity. One is a currency the other is an asset on the ethereum blockchain. Just because Bitcoin will be one million dollars, doesn't mean Populous will be worth nothing. That is unless they don't get on a major exchange and stay on EtherDelta. Coins die on that exchange.
