In my opinion, Cristiano Ronaldo deserves better but at this time most of the teams are rejecting. May be high salary is the main reason. Teams which are playing UCL, there is a small chance to get huge playing time because there has good players already. I think he will stay in Manchester United.

In my own opinion, I think it is a bad idea if Ronaldo stays at Manchester united. This is because to me at a very important time he caused nothing but distraction especially for the new manager coming. Getting to grips with a new style of play and you can see the changes in attitude morale and comradery. He just had a meeting with the club and has told them that he doesn't want to be a part of United anymore and is pressing for a move to teams that are in the Champions League. It seems like a really good opportunity for Bayern Munich to get Ronald's services for a fairly cheap price, since Ronaldo wants to move and it is public knowledge by now. Bayern just sold their prominent striker and Ronaldo could potentially play in that position alongside Mane. Would definitely bring up the quality of the squad for sure. If you look at the reports from Fabrizio Romano, Barcelona have now reached an agreement with Kounde for a transfer fee of £50.5 million.
This is their third purchase at a price that is quite expensive at the moment after Lewandowski and Raphinha.

I don't think Ronaldo want to go to an already successful club, Man Utd were struggling before he came back, he was back because he could compete at every level available, greediness would be him seeking a club offering an higher pay, perhaps you can call selfishness, but I'm pretty sure would be fine with taking a pay cut right now just play in the champions league. 33 years old is not the end of a footballing career, Costa is a player full of experience so far and he has had impressive performances when he was a player at Atletico Madrid and Chelsea, Costa current status is without a club and reportedly there are several clubs from Arabia, Turkey, Spain and England are indeed interested in signing him, but of these clubs so far only Rayo Vallecano is serious about getting Costa and even now Rayo Vallecano has submitted a proposal to Diego Costa agent, although Costa is still one of the most dangerous strikers and honest I really miss all the controversies that have arisen due to the high temper that Diego Costa has had all this time.

That is if he will lower his salary and how possible will it be that the acclaimed GOAT will be in a club and another person earns more than him. This is the problem Ronaldo is facing. I don't know why they bought Ramsey at the first place. He is well known for being a fragile player having lots of injuries and he misses lots of goal opportunities. His career is basically over.

It prolly is, Aaron Ramsey has struggled for fitness for quite a long time now, to be honest i do not blame Juventus at all for terminating his contract with them, they bought him with a lot of hope and optimism, and made him one of their highest earners in the club, i think Ramsey was earning around £400k every week, thus when a club pays you that high, you are expected to deliver for them on the pitch, and that is something Ramsey did not manage to do at all; even when he was pushed out on loan to Rangers, he didn't perform too. I do not know what the next chapter is for Aaron, but i think he will prolly move to a smaller club, so that he can get enough playing time and see if he can revive his career. I would love to see him in the EPL again though, maybe the recent 'money-club' Newcastle can sign him.

Aaron Ramsey is a very good player, even at his age he can still play very well at top level. It is really unfortunate that his time at Juventus didn't go as he had expected. I don't know what the future holds for Aaron Ramsey but a move probably to the premier league will be good for him. I honestly can't fault Ronaldo's ideas, neither will i call him greedy or selfish, he does not want to leave Manchester United because he is not happy financially, he wants to leave because of the club's inability to compete for trophies, and their absence from the Champions League, no player of Ronaldo's status and level will be excited to play in the Europa League, so why should he. Big players play in big clubs, that is how it has always been, it is not peculiar to Ronaldo, Manchester United is a big club, but they are doing pretty bad at the moment, and the thing is, nobody knows when they will come good, they don't look like they can compete for the EPL next season.

Well we can not really know what happened behind the scenes. I mean it is not really that unusual that a coach wants to change something before the start of the new season and therefore i think it is very well possible that Brendan Rodgers had a meeting with Schmeichel and told him that he is not planning with him as his starting goalie anymore. Stuff like that happens quite often. As you already said i also don't really see any other good reasons for Kasper Schmeichel to make the move from Leicester to Nice. I don't really think that he changes the club just because Nice is a nicer place then Leicester.
Maybe he wants to learn a new language or something.

After missing out on Kounde, it seems like Chelsea's targeting Leicester's Fofana.

Wesley Fofana is a talented young CB, but I think his level isn't the same as Kounde. Kounde seems stronger and more experienced than Wesley Fofana. If Chelsea signs Fofana, it can be good for a long-term plan for Chelsea defense but I am not really sure he will bring a big impact in a short time. Wesley Fofana needs more experience to be stronger.

Anyway, let's hope Barcelona isn't interested to sign Fofana as well.  

In other news, Atletico's president Cerezo strongly denied all rumors regarding Ronaldo's transfer, basically saying 'no chance of happening'.

The statement from Cerezo has answered the rumors of the possibility of Ronaldo's move to Atletico Madrid. It is clear now that Ronaldo won't move to Atletico Madrid, it is impossible. If Ronaldo flies to Spain, it should be for the negotiation with Real Madrid, not for any other teams.
