They still need to prove their worth if they are aiming for such a big goal.
Indeed, with their previous performance, the championship target seems not too grandiose because they have been able to compete well last season but we must realise that the EPL is a very different competition compared to other domestic leagues.

Lois Openda has officially become a Leipzig player. The deal has been completed for a fee of 43 million euros plus 6 million euros add-ons.

Considering that they signed him for 16 milion euros before this is a really profitable deal for Lens. However it is a big hit to them just before they start to compete in the Champions League. They should have tried their best to keep one of their most important players in the team. I don't know if Openda wanted to go there specially but Lens could have been more convincing than before if they tried. Because they are in the Champions League.

Yeah,indeed Rice's signing and Jurrien Timber's arrival as well will be a big boost to the current young Arsenal squad because those two signings are really quality signings that can help Arsenal win atleast a trophy or two next season.They will be playing in the champions league,FA cup,premier league and Carling cup,so they need much squad depth.They have signed three now in Karl Harvetz,Timber and Rice,and they are also looking at the possibility of adding another right winger in Gremio's Bittelo.According to sources,Arteta is looking at Atleast five major signings in this summer transfer window,and the most important area of consideration is their versatility.They need players that can play in varieties of positions,and all those three players are very versatile on the field.I am really looking forward to seeing Arsenal win one of the major trophies next season.

Quite indeed a very lucrative and tempting offer by Al-Ettifaq for Henderson, I think he would have to dialogue  with Klopp to know the plan he has for him in Liverpool squad this season because the arrival of new signings duo of Dominik Szoboszlai from RB Leipzig and Alexis Mac Allister from Brighton & Hove Albion would probably subject Henderson to the bench next season, though it up to Klopp to decide his future in the team, however if he decided to move on to Al-Ettifaq definitely that would have ended his international career with the England team, personally a contract worth  £700k per week is very juicy to be rejected afterall he had been playing with  Liverpool in 2011 and had many trophies to his credit thus it's time to move on.

His price is quite expensive. The gone of nkuku to the chelsea has been giving a free space in the position of striker. Openda agreed with leipzig caused by he sees a better future once he moved there.

Now Westham United has already officially confirmed, that Declan Rice will leave the club. It is said that the transfer fee for Rice is 122 M€ PLUS possible bonus payments, so this is a really really high transfer fee on my opinion. It is not officially confirmed though where Rice is going to, but as you already said, it is only a formality to present him as a new player of Arsenal and i also agree that this is a really big transfer for Arsenal. In my personal opinion 122 M€ for Rice is to much though. His market value is 90 M€ and i don't get why you would pay 30 Million € more than that, because he only had 1 year worth of contract left at Westham.
