Yes, they were paying high salaries a few years ago, but in this period, incredible numbers started to be talked about. If I remember correctly Karim Benzema would earn 200 Million Euros a year. These numbers are too high for a normal player to win in Europe. That's why they are now at the level of hindering European football. That's why it's getting more attention this year.
It's just that even in comparison with the top European salaries, the salaries that Saudi clubs agree to pay to the same players are at least twice as high. In principle, on the one hand, it seems to pose a real danger to the European championships, but on the other hand, the level and reputation of European cup tournaments are much higher, so this can serve as a counterbalance to the flow of the best players to Saudi Arabia.

Manchester city has reportedly reached an agreement to bring in one of the stars of the 2022 world cup who is now defending Leipzig, namely Josko Gvardiol. His cost is estimated at around 90 million euros and this week he will undergo a medical test before being announced as an official Manchester City player. Now for matters of Manchester City's defense line there is no need to be confused for a long time and Pep Guardiola is certainly happy to be able to get one of the talented players who is still 21 years old. I think this is the most successful transfer for Manchester City this season and Josko Gvardiol's choice was the right choice to join last season's treble winner.
pep guardiola is very shrewd in choosing the players bought by man city, even though the price is expensive but gvardiol's potential to bring man city back to become the Treble champion is quite big, he is a very good defender, Gvardiol's performance statistics for Leipzig last season were very good so Pep Guardiola really wanted him to be at Man City, i can't wait to see his first appearance with Mancity when they face Arsenal in the community shield later.  Kovacic and Gvardiol are really Man City's best signings this season.
This is the sharpness possessed by a high-class coach like Pep Guardiola. He doesn't only target popular players. But he sees players who do have quality and still have the potential to develop their skills to a higher level. Since Pep became coach of Man City I have always been satisfied with the signings obtained by the Man City club in every transfer market. But what bothers me a little about the current state of the Man City squad is because many of the core Man City players are being targeted by many clubs. Including Bernardo Silva who was constantly approached by other clubs. I hope that Man City can retain more of the mainstay players they have. Because so far two of Man City's core players have left the club in the transfer market this summer.

Juventus is still struggling in selling vlahovic to another club. It was forcing the club to make a swap deal with chelsea. Chelsea has been waiting for juventus to sell vlahovic first and juventus will be able to use money raised from selling vlahovic to buy lukaku.

So many offers were coming from the various clubs for vlahovic but the problem is these offers were still very far from what already wanted by juventus. That's why juventus and chelsea tried to get an alternative way for that.
The only way to does swap transaction between the club. Chelsea still needs another striker in the club. That's why the club was interesting in taking vlahovic as a third striker recruited by the club.

It's very good to see that how good response that has been shown by juventus. The deal may happen as soon as possible, but it's not clear which party that will put additional funds for the swap transfer.
Juventus shall not miss an opportunity to get lukaku from chelsea. He has been experiencing a lot in serie a.
With the way things are going, I don’t think the Chelsea and Vlahovic deal will happen this summer because Chelsea have already made a quite a number of signings this summer. Inter milan are still in search of a new striker for the coming season and since pulling out of negotiations for Lukaku, I think they might have some interest in considering Vlahovic even though reports say they are also interested in signing Scamacca from westham as a replacement for lukaku who has returned to Chelsea at the end of his loan time.

I think it will able to change with the goes of time. European league is still superior to the arabian league but i think that everything can change. The main problem if saudi clubs can disrupt the team one the transfer season already ended in the european league.
Some coaches have been sending protests to the UEFA regarding this, but so far there's no response came from UEFA regarding this problem. Saudi club has much longer time to recruit player from european club.

This is why some coaches were feeling fear once saudi will disrupt their preparations for the upcoming season. I think that if saudi can do everything by using its money.
Let's see what decision that's gonna coming from UEFA regarding this. UEFA can at least try to give a response regarding this.

Unlike you, I won't these players are good players but most of the players who join the Saudi teams are players who are near to end of their careers, and the players who are in good form will never leave the top European teams, for example, we saw Ronaldo joined Al Nasr but he did it when he had a bad performance in Manchester United and that's why he did choose Al Nasr.
The Saudi league is seen as a second home for European players who have struggled to fit in; it is more like giving them a second shot, and the players who move over are players who have full lost confidence or are no longer ambitious with championships, instead settling for money. The Saudi Professional Football League is not considered as competitive as the English Premier League, which is competitive and the coach or club drops any player who is not performing well; in European football, there is no place for relenting efforts. Fabinho is joining N'golo Kante and Karim Benzema in Saudi Arabia, where he will fit in nicely. Perhaps he isn't as competitive as he once was; his form has dropped as a result of an injury.

Josko Gvardiol to Manchester City for a transfer fee of 90 million euros and also with several RB Leipzig players being sold has made this club in the Bundesliga one of the clubs that have benefited from this transfer season, and Gvardiol's transfer fee has made him the most expensive defender at the moment and at least made Leipzig got 200 million euros more than just 3 players, Dominik Szoboszlai to Liverpool with a transfer value of 70 million euros, Christopher Nkunku to Chelsea with a transfer value of 60 million euros and several other players. Maybe Leipzig will follow in Dortmund's footsteps by selling their great players for a profit, and it's lucky that Leipzig can buy these three players from the previous club at cheap and sell at a big profit.
Manchester City see this player will become one of the best defenders in the world and his play with Croatia in last year's World Cup showed his quality, this will give City the opportunity to have two players who are expected to be the best in the world, Haaland, as a striker and Gvardiol as a defender.

Well this would be a great transfer for Inter but i dont think West Ham will give him under 30 mil so they can at least and try and get their money back. Its not easy to play in the premier league its much more different. Serie A is easier to play plus he is italian so i think he will do good if he goes back to Italy and play for Inter
There rarely reported about players from Italy in the media, mybe because the most Italians want to stay in Italy. Gianluca Scamacca, at 24 years old, has already played for many clubs, he was also in Holland and England. In Italy, he play for 5 clubs and almost every year in a different team. His biggest success was winning the Conference League with West Ham United and being the top scorer in the Coppa Italia. In England he gained a lot of experience and now it is time for him to become the best striker in Italy.

That's because right now not many top players come from Italy and maybe because they tend to be more comfortable and want to stay in Serie A teams is the reason.

Gianluca Scamacca is a potential player in my opinion, he is still very young so there are still many possibilities for him to continue to develop with Inter Milan.

West Ham wants a price of € 30 million while Inter Milan has now made an offer at a price of € 25 million, I think that is not much difference and it is still possible for negotiations to continue between these two teams.

Mbappe has been finally making a statement regarding the rumor of him being linked to the chelsea.

Quote
According to Spanish outlet Sport, Mbappe is willing to make the move to Stamford Bridge this summer but only if he can sign a one-year deal. The French superstar wants to have the freedom to explore his options at the end of next season. However, the report claims that Chelsea are not happy with this and would, of course, prefer to tie him down to a long-term contract.
https://talksport.com/football/1440426/chelsea-transfer-news-latest-gossip-updates-rumours/

The only main problem is mbappe was not interesting in signing a long term deal with chelsea. He demands 1 year contract with chelsea caused by he will be picking which team that's gonna be his new home next year. Chelsea can't accept it and then it seems like that the deal with mbappe already cancelled caused by chelsea has no interest to buy mbappe for only 1 season. Chelsea wants long term contract with him. Mbappe needs to find another team.
It's likely mbappe will always stay in PSG till next season will be starting. There's no team that is willing to spend a lot of money to buy him with only 1 year contract. Saudi club was the only answer for mbappe.

That's because right now not many top players come from Italy and maybe because they tend to be more comfortable and want to stay in Serie A teams is the reason.
In italy there are many fans who are racist. A good example was Mario Ballotelli, who even played in the nationalteam and led Inter Milan to 2 championships. Balotelli was insulted and almost every game, thats why he left Italy. The italians who were born in italy know this situation and many do not want to change the country because of it. Or even Gianluigi Donnarumma was insulted by the fans "he should never come back". Italians are very nationalistic and this is a problem. I hope that Gianluca Scamacca simply puts it away, he will not have it easy when he comes back to Italy.

@X-ray while on paper this deal looks bad for Chelsea but it’s actually not that bad too because they’re not playing in the champions league and with him even for a year they can expect lots of goals which can help them win the premier league hence they should get him. Furthermore if he stays at PSG he’ll then he’ll be rested warming the bench and it won’t benefit him or the club hence I’m sure that PSG will try and sell him in this transfer window.

So Inter was offended by Lukaku, because he negotiated with Juventus, but the fact that Vlahovic played for Juventus does not mean anything? )) In fact, now it looks more likely that Chelsea and Juventus can exchange Vlahovic for Lukaku, only on the condition of a solid surcharge, but I don’t know if Chelsea will agree to this. There is not much time left and Vlahovic has a chance to just stay at Juventus.

Congratulations to City, that deal is almost done, but i think City now have quite a lot of center backs and i'd be surprised if they don't sell at least one of them this summer, there's Nathan Ake, John Stones, Ruben Dias, Aymeric Laporte, Manuel Akanji and now Gvardiol, i thought City would have sold Laporte by now, he had very limited playing time last season and i'm pretty sure he would neither be happy nor comfortable with that. Pep prolly has his plans, like he always does, when he keeps a player in the team, he usually has plans for them to contribute to the teams success.

Did you really think City would sell a CB before acquiring another one first?

He'll probably dump Laporte to Barcelona at the last minute before the season starts.

Anyway, "3rd and final bid" for Romeo Lavia has been submitted by Liverpool to Southampton, this time it includes a guaranteed 40 million pounds. Addons are not known publicly I guess. Lets see if they will accept it as personal terms have already been agreed with him.

Actually there are more and more European players who are going to Saudi Arabia because there are high fees, even bigger than those given by European clubs.
What's more, it's easier for players to get titles and awards when playing with Saudi clubs, that's why there are many transfers of players to Saudi clubs.

Lots of European players are starting to be tempted by Saudi Club, even if they are class players or star players.
Currently the Saudi League is still in the stage of improvement so it is still very possible for the Saudi League to develop to be like the English League.

This is a challenge for European clubs to pay more attention to their top players. Starting from the salary and the level of comfort, because the Saudi Arabian club is ready with everything. This will continue and top players are starting to think again about their services at European clubs which are often underappreciated. The level of interest in playing at Saudi Arabian clubs is increasing from season to season, the budget to buy players is also strongly supported by the Saudi Arabian sports ministry which has poured large funds on the transfer market.

Laporte will be the one to leave most probably yeah. There are already some Saudi teams after him and it wouldn't be difficult for Manchester City to find a reasonable deal to send him. I don't know what Laporte is thinking about leaving Europe though. There were teams like Chelsea and Juventus interested before. If he gets an offer from a big European team maybe he would think of not leaving Europe yet.

By the way I wonder what the problem is about the Gvardiol deal now. Because I remember that Fabrizio Romano had a tweet like the deal was done and it was quite much time ago. It looks there is still no agreement on the transfer fee.

Josko Gvardiol attracted the attention of all the big clubs after his performance at the World Cup. I think he had an impressive performance in that tournament. Manchester City did a very good job with this signing and most importantly continued to rejuvenate the average age of the team. Also, the Premier League starts on August 11th. Manchester City will be able to have Josko Gvardiol ready for the first league game. If Pep Guardiola gives Josko Gvardiol a start, Josko Gvardiol could play against Burnley and make a fast start.

Of course a high salary is an attraction for a soccer player, it's undeniable that everyone wants a high fee and currently Saudi Arabian teams are willing to pay players higher than Europe's top teams, this is something to be aware of indeed for the development of football in Europe and the top European leagues in particular.
Ronaldo's arrival made the Saudi Arabian League known to many people and the high salary offers by the teams there made it difficult for many players to refuse him, even this season so many top European players have signed contracts with Saudi Arabian teams.
Euro clubs has to review their salary structure of a player, if not  two years from now no player will remain in Europe again, all the players attention will be towards the Saudi Arabia pro league.

Football philosophy has changed, for passion and dedication to finance and family. Every players are now playing for the money, and the happiness of their family first, so they go where they get higher pay, that's why are now going to Saudi Arabia. And the Saudi Arabia club has a good taxation policy than Euro.

Next season, the Saudi Arabia pro league will be on every country TV, then people will give less attention to the Euro football. Europ has to improve if they want player to stay .

He was offered from Saudi for one year but he rejected the offer. It is certain that he will end up staying with PSG for one more season if no club is interested in signing him for a season. He is scheduled to go to Real Madrid next season, so he only wants to change clubs for one season. In this case, no club will bring him to the team on a one-year contract. That is why Mbappe has not signed a contract with any club in Europe.

It's likely mbappe will always stay in PSG till next season will be starting. There's no team that is willing to spend a lot of money to buy him with only 1 year contract. Saudi club was the only answer for mbappe.
PSG has almost bought Dembele (Fabrizio Romano wrote that everything will be decided in the next 24 hours) and is also going to close the deal on the purchase of Gonzalo Ramos (by the way a great acquisition - a young and scoring striker), then how without the sale of Mbappe PSG can not violate the rules of financial fair play? It is still necessary to add the past transfers PSG has made recently.

I wonder if such high-profile transfers will now help PSG win the Champions League or will it be business as usual?
In general I think now Mbappe should be sold both for financial and ethical reasons, because it is unclear how after all this epic with Mbappe's transfer to Real and other clubs he will play in PSG .
