This swap is unlikely to happen for sure. Even though it indicates that how tuchel has sent some signals if he is keen to coach the premier league team again but many possibilities can happen here, like he goes to the newcastle or other epl team. Joselu was borrowed not as a weapon but as an option and I think he's good enough as an old player in Madrid especially with 9 goals in La Liga this season and 5 goals in the Champions League (including today's match) I think he's a good replacement option with what he's showing at the moment.

He's also aware that with his age and the competition at Madrid he won't be able to compete for the starting line up but to say he's bad with a good score as a "substitute" in my opinion is inappropriate.

It's quite strange that Man United wants Joselu, who in fact is no longer young. This sounds good for me especially given that Manchester United has had a terrible season since Onana arrived as a new goalkeeper in manchester united to replace de gea which has been performing even more superior than him. Onana has been also making the club was getting terrible lose so many times.
