Sometimes being loyal isn't the best option to gain recognition or to say you have much respect for the club, imagine the number of players he played with and all left the side to join teams that fetch them trophies, he still stayed and achieved nothing, some even came back to continue from where they stopped with him (Reus), how I wish he had taken that bold step like the others, I believe he would have gotten more than enough to say this is his achievement but he chose to stay with a club that lacks consistency year in year out, is so sad for such a big name to take a bow in this manner, he reminded me of Buffon who did everything humanly possible to win the champions league but it never came his way, only difference between both players is that Buffon changed club but Reus never did, he was indeed unlucky. Marco Reus is a good player, he always gets playing time in the German national team when he was still productive. His loyalty to Dortmund was his choice, many other big clubs wanted to bring him in but he still chose to stay at SIGNAL IDUNA PARK. It's not that Dortmund doesn't want to sell him, especially since the club is used to selling young players at high prices and then looking for replacements at much cheaper prices.

Regardless of his statistics during his time at Dortmund, he has become a legend there and the fans love him very much. After having too much bad news and troubling time Barcelona can feel better because they are having Dani Olmo who is surely going to be had good impact on their performance in coming season because he is capable of playing on few spots which were not working for them, and they are feeling no comfortable but arrival of Dani Olmo from RB Leipzig for the price of €55 million can give relief with fans will be also feel better.

It was very obvious that Bilbao was not keen on selling one of their best players. Nico approved of joining Barcelona. But, they U-turned. So, he had to stay in Bilbao longer. Barcelona decided to recruit Olmo from Leipzig instead of Nico from Bilbao. I know both Nico and Olmo are the priority transfers for Barcelona.
But, Barcelona can't get them all due to financial issues. So, they chose Olmo over Nico. Nico won't move to Barcelona. It will be until Barcelona agrees to Bilbao's price for Nico Williams.
