Am still trying to rap my head around this news cause I feel am not getting something right. As of now that united are currently playing like shit under amorim I wouldn't be surprised though if they get to sack him but going back to ten hag after the shenanigans he created with club is also surprising, If anything at this moment I really wished the job was still left in the care of ruud van nisterol as he was doing quite okay.

I'm not surprised for this news if the news is real as Amorim has shown that he isn't the right man for the job to help Manchester United get out from the horrible situation that they're currently in. I don't know what Amorim strategies is to win games but we can just be paranoid as he's only new to his job and might need sometime to settle down to arrange his players the way he wants but still he shouldn't be losing as for each game that he lost, he's throwing away important points that would have been helpful for Manchester United to advance in the table to a better position. Erik ten hang isn't going to be the option to go back to but a better manager with experience.

If in the end Liverpool really need van Dijk at their club, of course they will try to push with a contract extension but until now there has still not been any news regarding the clarity of van Dijk's contract at Liverpool and not just about van Dijk, Salah, Alisson and even Trent without clear contract clarity to date even though when talking about the end of their contracts will be completed this year so it is not wrong in the end there will be a lot of rumors linking players who will run out of contracts with several clubs including for van Dijk with Madrid now.

Probably waiting till around 3 months period left to check out their league standings while scouting for new potential candidate to replace. Obviously if they finish 1st in league then there is a good chance that VVD alongside Salah would get another contract. Those two basically have huge wages for over 30 years old player.

TAA would surely get his contract, a 26 years old defender with a good career ahead but as for Salah and VVD then that would depends on Liverpool's financial I guess. Salah would most likely leave though but VVD is pretty hard to be replaced

I agree with you. While Virgil van Dijk is undoubtedly a top class defender, I don't Real Madrid will pursue signing him because of his age. Real Madrid usually focus on acquiring younger talented players who can contribute to the team in the long term and fit their strategy in building for the future.

It is not about world class either, Virgil Van Dijk is 33 and even at that he still has the ability to play top level football but the club we are talking about is the very best and biggest club in the world and at that they don’t just sign any player but the best and those that can be with them for more than 5 years, to me the major contention in this deal will even be the wages which for Van Dijke is huge. One player I think Real Madrid will go all out for and they should is Willam Saliba from Arsenal. He is young and currently one of the best defenders in the world. Him pairing with Rudiger to me seems the perfect combo now in world football, as such Madrid should rather prioritize Saliba than Van Dijke
Real Madrid might still be interested to get Van Dijk if they can can't get a long term option like William Saliba and especially after their recent injuries woes and I don't think they will really want to give him a huge offer but maybe they can give him a 2 year contract with a possible extension of another year depending on his performance.

To me he is still a good buy with the current form of Van Dijk I think he can still be in Europe at the age of 38 just like Thaigo Silva, who was still having much impact in the  Chelsea team at that age, aging like fine wine.

Virgil van Dijk is very willing to stay at Liverpool for a few more years. I'm not surprised with that statement. He is really one of the pillars of this team honestly. I would also like to watch him for a couple of more years at least. But the thing is, his contract is going to expire by next summer.  Sad  I'm curious what the board is planning about him. I hope they don't intend to release him.

In case of seeing his departure, I have 0 doubt there would be big teams going after him. We would most probably see Saudi teams making offers too. Probably much better ones than European teams.  Tongue
Hmmm, that's sounds really good !
It's good to see that Van Dijk has stated his opinion about contract extension. Because he is one of the best defenders and considers it well that currently he is now the big influence buddy behind the Liverpool performance. I have already talked about this topic, but in any case, I would like to elaborate on this a little bit. Liverpool has had a very solid defense force for a few years now, with Van Dijk behind it. Because Van Dijk has a great deal of defending skill along with unparalleled leadership competence. And this has been the reason why Liverpool is showing a consistent performance. This season also Liverpool is the one in which the least number of goals has been conceded. So if these contributions are taken into consideration, then Van Dijk has the right to stay in Liverpool for two/three more season.

But anyway, it's good to see that Van Dijk has expressed his opinion and told people that he wants to stay longer at Liverpool.

If Al Nassr is really offering 35 millions for En-Nesyri, just get him out of the club. There's no way for Fener to deny such lucrative offer from Al Nassr. It will be so dump if they keep En-Nesyri much longer. They can re-allocate the money raised from selling him to strengthen their CB and LB.

I don't see a reason not to accept this offer, it's very high offer for En-Nesyri. I hope this rumor is gonna be true.
The acceptance of the offer will depend on how important the player is to Fenerbahce. Jose Mourinho had to convince the Moroccan player to move to Turkey after he got many offers from different top clubs. Fenerbahce had to break the bank to get him for about $21.6 million. The club would make some profit if they let him leave but they would resist it, if they think he is important to them.
I trust Mourinho possibly he would allow allow En-Nesyri to leave Fenerbache for Al-Nassr if he (En-Nesyri) agrees personal terms with Al-Nassr and it's obvious that is juicy and reasonable offer, Mourinho is an experience manager thus it won't take him long to find another replacement for En-Nesyri this January transfer window, and it's obvious a big opportunity for Fenerbache to cash on the contract, I understand that Mourinho influenced En-Nesyri coming to Fenerbache after rejecting other offer, but the Saudi Arabian based clubs are always synonymous with offering juicy contract to players which is hard to resist especially huge weekly wages

What if Mo Salah really needs a challenge, I mean it's not about money for him anymore. Whatever the reason is that Mo Salah is not quick to respond to the contract renewal is his right. And the club can't force him, let him decide for himself. Although I know his departure will definitely leave a lot of disappointment for the fans and the club.

You're right about that, in the end the decision is the player's and personally I wouldn't like him to leave Liverpool because the team is compact, they've had a very good performance in the PL and not to mention the UCL, it's something that has cost all the teams, especially City and even Real Madrid themselves. If Mo Salah is seen the team will fall apart and that's something that is known and the truth is that it would be a bad thing because they will always be taking into Account how difficult it is for a team to stay well, without gaps and if at least one player leaves it would upset everything. Well, I think they have treated him very well at the club, I think they should give him an extension of his contract.

Well said EL MOHA, it’s not about being world class that will make Real Madrid sign you, they are a big team and have money doesn’t mean they they also don’t have plans on the kind of players to sign. Van Djik is 33 years old already and he has played out his whole career already and all that is left is a few years which would probably be spent in less competitive leagues and not to league like La Liga.

Antonio Rudiger is 31 years old soon to turn 32 so having him pair with 33 years old Van Djik is not ideal so I think Saliba is just the perfect fit for Real Madrid as he is just 23 years old and still has a lot of years to play actively. Rudiger with Saliba will definitely be a solid pairing and Madrid will be sorted for good in the Central Defense line.

Erik Ten Hag failed in his managerial role as manager, the board was patient with his sluggish development and at the end of the day, they noticed it was dormant project and wouldn't skyrocket the club to anywhere, the decision taken to relieve ETH from his job was compulsory and important for growth. Meanwhile Amorim wouldn't last long if he continues such terrible run with Manchester United. They've become fragile towards oppositions and they've failed woefully to win EPL games. They're not competent enough to handle tough oppositions this season and this is bringing down the performance of the club. Manchester United are not in form this season, it's all portraying in their performance. Looking their stats, having 6W 4D 8L and you see that to become fluctuating performance.

You gotta be kidding me Napoli. Osimhen for Rashford? for real? I never imagine they is keen swapping Osimhen to the Rashford without even mentioned additional money. If i were Manchester United, i would take this offer.

I hope that this offer is gonna be true, but if it's not, that's not a problem for United. I only remind that if this is still a rumor. Nothing confirmed by Manchester United's side so far.

It will be so good if this rumor is gonna be real, and will be happy to see Rashford come to the Napoli.
Why not? A swap deal for Victor Osimhen involving Rashford is a good deal. Napoli do not want the service of Osimhen and want to sell him for ridiculous amounts of money. It will be a good deal for Manchester United as they might not be able to sign him directly. Using Rashford as part of negotiation will absolutely be a bargain for Manchester United, besides I don’t think Amorim wants Rashford in the squad.
Marcus Rashford will probably not be at Manchester United from next season. I think he should make a wise decision and find a middle ground in the transfer talks with Napoli as soon as possible. It makes sense for Manchester United to offer him as an ace for Osimhen's transfer, in terms of covering some of the transfer fee they will have to pay. Also, Amorim needs Osimhen very badly at the moment. They will definitely try to transfer him.

Teams like Barcelona, which are in financial difficulties, look for more opportunities to sign free agents. That's why this transfer is very important for them. Because they are having financial difficulties and they don't want to pay extra money for a player to make a transfer. It was said that Jonathan Tah will reach an agreement with Bayern Munich. The team that Barcelona will probably compete with will be Bayern Munich. If they can bring him to the team, I think they will have made a good transfer because Barcelona needs such a player in the defense area.

He still wants to play at Liverpool and must convince Management to make a new offer. The reason is Liverpool needs stability with the main squad currently installed by Arne Slot. Virgil Van Dijk who left has no guarantee of a suitable replacement, age is not a reason if you look at his fitness condition. However if Liverpool still wants to release him it means that not only Van Dijk, TAA and Mo Salah can leave this season.
His loyalty to Liverpool is indeed not in doubt and he even said he still intends to be part of the Liverpool squad next season. But everything is a management decision in giving a new contract and I hope Van Dijk will still be an important part of Liverpool next season. Arne Slot needs stability in the team so that they can compete and losing some important players like him will have a worse effect on the team because it will create uncertainty.

Outrageous decision back from Manchester United lol
How important is Ten Hag that they are still confused when there is already a new coach who is still adapting but they still expect Ten Hag to return on his journey even though we know what Manchester United's performance was like when managed by Ten Hag.
After Man United was led by Amorim in several matches, their performance was not as good as when Ten Hag was still the coach. At this point who is to blame, the Players, the Management or the coach who is not able to handle the squad well, but wasn't Amorim very successful with Sporting CP?
Bringing Ten Hag back is not the best solution to solve the problems that Man United is facing, the management must take a more realistic look at what is happening in their squad.

Instead of this, to be honest, I would have preferred van Nistelrooy before without coach Amorim when Ten Hag left so that when van Nistelrooy was deemed incapable they looked for another coach but for now Manchester United's decision regarding the coaching system seems to need to be questioned because after all for me this does not make sense when they have a coach but still intend to bring or extend the contract of a coach who has no connection whatsoever because he has been diagnosed.
Yes, the management made the decision too quickly, they seemed not to see the potential in Van Nistelrooy. If they had given him the chance to manage Man United for a longer period, or at least until the first half of the season was over, perhaps Man United fate would not have been as tragic as this.

But if for a second we assume that Liverpool wins it all this season, the Premier League title, the Champions League, FA Cup and I think they have some other cups, would it then be clever to leave the best club in the world? The club is rich, the club is popular, what more can you ask for?

A new challenge can be something a football player is after towards the end of the career, but it is a risk at the same time and leaving Liverpool does not mean there isn't an opportunity cost involved in case of Mo Salah. He is a hero there and he can become an even bigger hero and he knows the game is perfectly tailored to him. He has all the freedom he wants and he knows he is the superstar everybody is watching. If he goes to Real Madrid, it doesn't mean he will win more titles as Liverpool in one level with them for now. He would be playing with Mbappe and Vinicius Junior, which can be fun and a great thing to do, but he has to accept that he one among many. Those guys won't let him take all the penalties and they will complain if Salah makes the wrong decisions during the game. There is more drama. In Liverpool Salah receives the highest respect from everywhere. If he leads Liverpool to titles with these scoring statistics, he can become the best player in the world. I doubt he will do it if he plays for Real Madrid.

Instead of looking for a replacement for Lewandowski, Hansi Flick targeted Jonathan Tah to strengthen the back line. It might be good but Lewandowski replacement striker also needs attention. Given that in several matches Lewandowski has experienced a decline in his quality in the attack line, especially when Lamine Yamal was absent which required Lewandowski to find a ball supply.

No, no. It's not even about Robert Lewandowski,  can you put more respect on his name and give him more flowers? Bringing Jonathan Tah is the right decision to make because the young Pau Curbasi is doing a hell lots of defending duties which is not talked about game after game. I see that he's gradually worned out or something in the last few games. Jonathan will not just complement him.but also pass experience,  he helped Bayern Leverkusen winning their very first Bundesliga last season. I consider it a good move.

And lastly, why would victor osimhen leaves Galatasaray that he is so much loved and go to a Manchester united side that is now a small team ? In my own opinion, I just sees this as a rumour that wouldn't even hold any waters, and between now and the end of the season, I don't expect victor osimhen to leave to any other club with the kind of love he has been showered with at Galatasaray.
Just because of their poor performance does not mean that Man United can be said to be a small club, they are a big club where many people from all over the world know the Man United club. I think it is rare for people who love football not to know the Man United club. Victor Oshimen does look comfortable at Galatasaray but I think if a bigger club recruits him he will definitely want to move, the Premier League is the best choice for him compared to the Turkish League, even though Galatasaray is not a small club, Man United has a bigger name in European football.

First of all, I really don't think it's ideal to be thinking of replacing Robert lewandoski in the middle of the season, what is more ideal too me is that they should sign someone to complement him and reduce the workload on him, by resting him in some games or even reducing his minutes because age is not on his side any longer, because I believe that his experience and quality is still very vital for this Barcelona side.
Then as for the interest in Jonathan tag, truly that's one of the vital needs of Barcelona this season, the defense of Barcelona is a total shambles and it's one of their greatest weakness this season, so if they can address that department this January transfer window, it will definitely be a big bust in their title aspiration this season, because they can't be conceding too much goal and be expecting to fight consistently for the league, so they really needs to improve that area in other to compete very well.

There is no need to compare where the coach was successful in the previous team, because ten Hag also achieved success somewhere. Amorim could be successful in Sporting because there are more flexible players, they understand more what discipline is and are more obedient, but in Manchester United there is a completely different level and Amorim's methods most likely will not work, since Mourinhe's methods did not work. Amorim wants to establish their own rules, I admit that the players may not like it and then Amorim will not stay in Manchester United for long.

I don't know who is to blame at the moment for the slump of Manchester, even we all saw the previous ten hag as the culprit of Manchester United slump, although the change of coach still can't improve their current performance, but in my opinion, it seems too early for us to claim that Amorim has failed because indeed he still needs time at the moment, but we can't deny that Manchester United players also seem to have difficulty adapting to the new tactics brought by Amorim, so I think, Manchester United fans still have to be patient and give Amorim time before they judge him no better than Ten Hag.

Because Manchester United is a club in the Premier League level, it makes sense when there are many demands to win, but Amorim also cannot be blamed entirely when the players he currently controls are not what he wants. So we might need to give Amorim a little space in January to choose players according to his criteria. Remember that half of the current players are Erik Ten Hag legacy players. It would be very inappropriate, right? That's why Amorim insists on selling players in January and replacing them with new ones.
