When we looked at developing our token and plans we looked at what Doge and Ripple did and we realized we didn't want to issue as many as they had allocated.
We looked at how Ripple is working with the R3 banks and what they were developing. For our developments, we wanted to be able to offer a new form of Peer 2 Peer payments and if it takes off we wanted it to be more liquid than say BTC so that people could hold whole tokens and help us build awareness, not fractions of a token.
It gives everyone the chance to be involved in something great and help the goal become a reality. Our backers loved the idea of a higher issuance and thus we followed through. We will have to see how the markets react but if you look at all the coins and tokens in our marketplace now, there are many with a lot more issued than us.

I've been doing a lot of research into the various cryptocurrencies lately and have to say that what is presented here really appeals... not only as someone said earlier is this not just backed by 'blind faith', it will be backed with real hard reserves and underpinned by mining other lucrative cryptocurrencies!  Boom!  What is not to like about this?!  It has more intrinsic value than it's competitors AND it is playing the cryptomining game for growth... Looks like this could be the ideal cryptocoin investment!!       I'm interested to closely watch this one.  Worth a punt?!?!  It's so original and ingenious, i would expect it to have a strong uptake from the word 'go'!

Holy crap--this is Huge.  And frankly, brilliant. 

It's like the best of both worlds: all the potential and flexibility I love about Crypto, and yet the security of almost the Gold Standard.  Why didn't someone think of this before? Been hearing the buzz about this one for awhile now--super excited to see that it's actually happening!

I think that although others think 10 billion supply is too much, if the Chinese Contingent get wind of this, then 10 billion tokens are not much at all to circulate. The idea manifested behind this token is exemplary to say the least. I will be watching and perhaps participating with anticipation and interest.

We intend on creating our own market for the tokens and finding the bulk of our buyers outside of the crypto circles as we feel that now is the time that the world will start seeing the crypto industry as an opportunity and will look at Unity as a buy and hold, rather than a trade token. The 10BN is for liquidity as the World markets start to legalize and adopt crypto as an actual medium of exchange we wish to have one of the first that will be available to trade via our peer to peer network for things as small as a coffee or a pack of gun and as high as a purchase of a house or car. We felt that dealing with non-fractional numbers would be the easiest way to educate more people on how to buy/trade/sell and purchase with our tokens would be easier and we know the growing demand for cryptocurrency is growing exponentially so it just seemed like the most appropriate number for our venture. We decided against an official and traditional ICO as we already have a lot of people anticipating the launch and we didn't want to hold them up from being able to trade immediately upon the release of our tokens on the exchanges. We will, however, be announcing our bounties very soon and we think that people might enjoy these. Thanks for your interests and questions.
