Offline Wallets Vs Online Wallets

I have never used an offline wallet and just use online wallet, this is because I work mobile from one place to another so I use only online wallet. And until now there is no problem, everything is safe and good.

The fact is that this is strictly a private matter for everyone, because each user is worried about the safety of their coins and security. Therefore, choosing an offline or online wallet, we all weigh exactly those features that are beneficial to us.

Sometimes we have to trust with online wallets because we are also not perfect from technical errors. A reliable online wallet will help us with a routine maintenance system, better than not taking any action at all. I use both and divide the amounts well. I've always used Online wallets for both bitcoin and altcoins, although I'd like to know, how can offline wallets be deemed as safer?
Aren't they easier to steal if your computer is infected with a RAT for example?(Remote Administration tool). One major reason I'm not using one is because
I would probably forget to save the wallet.dat before formatting my computer and then I'd have to deal with recovering it.
Most online wallets have a 2FA now, even if someone steals your password, he won't be able to access the wallet.

I prefer for offline bitcoin wallet. Offline wallet because I think if I urgently need money I can easily get it into my offline wallet and I can use it to pay lots of services and product if I don’t have internet access unlike online wallet, right? I think offline wallet is more secure than online wallet because there are lot of hackers and scam in online so I am not sure if I can handle my online wallet especially if I already have a lot of coins. I can’t afford losing coins, because in the first place I work hard for that and they will just take it away from me.

I think that offline wallets is more reliable than online wallets. If you are talking about the hard wallets. In just inserting a usb like storage for storage of your bitcoins and other coins. Because no attacker will attack that. And the only enemy in there is you! If you misplaced it

I use online wallets. For me it is not only more convenient but also more secure. Bitcoin is a very promising currency, and therefore, the service providing services of e-wallets will try not to fall out of this business. Online wallets are better because I can manage my money while in offline wallets, I might spend my money. Also, I can budgetize my money, list things I need to buy before withdrawing my money from online wallets. Even I can store my money on offline wallets, there are factors I need to note, there might be thieves that might get my money.

They are just exactly the same I guess, offline wallets are like those credit and and debit cards which can activate at the time of needs, while online wallets are active in terms of ideal net connections.

Yes, and for security also because the bitcoin hardcore wallet is so secure so that if you are holding a large volume of bitcoin I highly suggest hold it using hardcore wallet. And in online wallet it is good for holding a small amount of money usually just use it for cash out and cash in.

I think this depends on the need, if large bitcoin balance of course must use off line wallet, I currently only use online wallet because it is easier and concise.

I guess both them are all good when it comes in offline wallet i guess it is good for long term investment and also have a better security than the other online wallet i guess is more prone to hacking  i guess but more versatile than the other wallet you can open your wallet just using a web browser.

well it is hard to tell which one is better between offline and online wallets they both have one purpose as storing currency for transactions but except that digital wallets have some more features that makes it more better and influencing than offline wallet .
people can use online wallets to save and store crypto currency and wait for the values to increase , a fine, skilled and experienced man can make profit even out of the fluctuating value of Bitcoin .
online wallets can be used across the country as unlike physics currency are required to be exchanged , digital currencies does not require to be hanged and the transaction taxes are comparatively lower than that are charged now.
offline wallets can be harmed physically while igital wallets cannot be harmed and are more safer than them as hey cannot be destroyed .

2FA is nothing once a web wallet turned into fraud. Im not saying that those big web wallets today will turned into shit but we can't take away the chance of that to happened. History speaks or the usual "we got hacked".

So to answer your question at the end of your post, it will be less risk if you will hold your coins by yourself so you are the only one to blame if those coins will be lost. Then the role of web wallet is to use their features and not for storage purposes.

Go with offline wallet and you can sleep well. However, online wallets are great for small sums.

The best is hardware wallet, I guess. Ledger nano s or trezor. It's convenient and secure at the same time.

The use of 2fa in an online wallet is still impenetrable through the email/windows system, I agree with you, none is 100% completely safe, but I also want to minimize personal errors by trying to trust one of the developers of a trusted wallet like blockchain. Offline wallets are also a good choice, but it is very risky if we make a mistake.
