Why does WTM always over estimate the revenue stream?

I plug in 34 mh/s which is what ccminer-alexis shows  for output and the rest of the values and it tells me over 130 per day.  Reality is more like 80-90. Using zpool.

What am I missing here?

34 of what? Which algo? Which coin? What card? What difficulty are you looking at? The average? The current?

Since XZC diff incredibly jumped up and keep growing, I am thinking about swaping mine 1080ti´s to somewhere else...Anyone running ZERO via 6x1080ti rigs in windows? Or ubuntu is now the only way? Also what hashrate is expected? Thanks for sharing.

It is still profitable.  Depends on your definition of efficiency I suppose.  There are other things to mine that may be better options right now.

You can still do much worse than XZC.

what is the best option? XLR?

yeah XLR is cool for now but diff jumped up lately...i used to make 15$ per card now 11$.........................

Can I ask you what pool and miner are you using?

pool: https://umine.org
miner for gpu: ccminer_x64 bat line is as follow  /ccminer.exe -a xevan -o stratum+tcp://s.umine.org:3739 -u SXW9gq5mkzocAKdxy4CNZpo4mUpVw59fjQ -p c=XLRX/
miner for cpu: cpuminer-multi-rel1.3.1-x64 /cpuminer-gw64-avx2 -a xevan -o stratum+tcp://s.umine.org:3739 -u SXW9gq5mkzocAKdxy4CNZpo4mUpVw59fjQ -p c=XLRX/

but not as profitable as few days ago......as i said 10-11usd/day/card

are you using an exchange that supports solaris you’d like to reccomend?

I use both exchanges recommended by solaris official site - https://wallet.crypto-bridge.org and https://www.coinexchange.io

Yes, you're right. Maybe it's a problem with the pool, I got stratum disconnects a few times. Try mining on another pool if you can find one.

I do not recommend using WTM for 1080ti estimates as one of most profitable algos for 1080ti such as Lyra2z, Xevan, Tribus, NIST5, X17, Bitcore, Timetravel10, Skunkhash (and maybe others I have not discovered yet) are simply missing from their database.....

Not true though you wouldn't know it from the main page.

I'm trying yiimp now to see if the revenue is better on there vs zpool.  Not sure why zpool doesn't produce like the calc expects it the numbers are off enough that it isn't just a couple percent.

~100 Mh/s on a GTX 1080 Ti with ccminer 2.1 - GPU at 80% power limit with +225 Core stock Memory - Windows 10 - I haven't tried it at a higher power limit.

Yiimp x17 pool is jacked. Getting lots of invalid job id rejects. I tried both ports.  The pool is busy and connection kinda iffy.  Back to zpool until I find something better I guess.

With the IRS new crypto definitions would it still be a smart idea to buy 1080tis and mine? Calculating taxes it seems as though you'll be paying 40%+ with the new rates, maybe even more. I know people disagree about taxation and all but specifically talking about the 1080ti, would it still be worth it at a 40% rate?

Litecoin, launched in the year 2011, was among the initial cryptocurrencies following bitcoin and was often referred to as ‘silver to Bitcoin’s gold.’ It was created by Charlie Lee, a MIT graduate and former Google engineer. Litecoin is based on an open source global payment network that is not controlled by any central authority and uses "scrypt" as a proof of work, which can be decoded with the help of CPUs of consumer grade. Although Litecoin is like Bitcoin in many ways, it has a faster block generation rate and hence offers a faster transaction confirmation. Other than developers, there are a growing number of merchants who accept Litecoin.

Anyone else mining equihash on the 1080ti?
Just wondering what the optimal settings were.

Have been doing 70% with +200 mhz and getting around 700sol per card

Just bumped it up to 80% with +200mhz and added +300 mem, but only seeing like 710 avg per card.

Don't think that is worth it. Thoughts?

Update:
Bumped it to 85% just to see.. my first card won't go over 700 sol (probably just poor lottery)
My other (2) seem to by pushing 725-730sol..

Overall I am not seeing too much gain from increasing the mem or going from 80 to 85%.
Thinking 80% with just the +200 mhz was the best bang for the buck.

I get 704 Sol with 80% and a tiny OC (+25 or something like that)

My card sucks a lot with equihash, not to mention it's GPU + CPU so draws more power (at least with nheqminer). For me the best is 60% power, -400 mem, +75 core. Get around 550-600. I tried default clocks or OC with 100% power but sols do not go up.

Even though XZC apparently "sucks" for 1080 ti nowadays, it's giving me more profits and I''m staying with it. I get from 0.09 to 0.1 XCZ per full day mining and it's GPU only with a very low power algo.

I usually use TDP 60 for maximum energy efficiency, i don't OC too much.

Am i wrong ?

Is it good for all algos or for each algo the TDP can be regulated better ?
