Let's say a good i7/xeon can do 500kh/s (or even more!) => 140 000/500 = 280processors = 2 or 3 large clusters...

Same thing happened when Litecoin was released. Some people will have more of an advantage than you. Not much you can do other than deal with it.

All this worry about "the little guy" rings false due to the fact there have always been chains the little guys can mine quite nicely.

They go wasting their hashes on crap that is way too high difficulty for them and whine, instead of raking in coins all day all night on any of the several chains that are still easy to mine.

So really the whining is silly. They choose to mine impossibly high difficulty chains, that is their choice, they made it, so they should not whine about it.

If they had pointed their CPUs at BBQcoin all through last year they would be rich now. This year it is too late to get in on BBQcoin but there are still several others they could have mined at the same time as BBQcoin - all last year - and still can keep on mining this year. So when the next one rises into the limelight they will have no excuse for not getting rich that time around merely because they somehow missed out on BBQcoin.

At least they can mine solo so they have a "low profile", not in the only pool available

Why's that? You have to wait for 540 confirms before a block is accepted, that's how YACoin works.
