Bitcoin lost more that half of its value in late 2013. Can bitcoin lost its value? Yes, but it is only for short time. Bitcoin will never lost its value for permanent time.

according to my personal experience in future it is not possible that bicoin will lose their value because from the start to present day bitcoin performance is increasing day by day and every thing has difficulty in start but now bitcoin is become very famous through out the whole world and now large number of people are investing in bitcoin and investing in bitcoin so we can expect that bitcoin will be very high rate in future.
It is not even just about the performance but we are what makes the value increase. Demand is higher than supply and as long as there is someone willing to pay me for the value that I have placed on it, then that is what makes it increase. As long as it stays relevant and its usefulness gets even better and well known than just being an asset, then the more the value keeps increasing.

It's quite ridiculous and worrying the amount of people who say it is impossible for bitcoins value to decrease. Like anything that has a price determined by market forces of demand and supply it can most certainly decrease in value, is it likely - no. Is it possible - 100% it is possible.

Yes it can happen. Bitcoin, just like any other digital currencies, is volatile in nature.

There have been several sudden downpours in the value of Bitcoin, including the recent 2K decline, but eventually it goes back up again.
I think its important that you learn about the 21 million cap of Bitcoin and its potential for deflation.
Anything can happen in future. You never know what exactly is going to happen in the coming days. As far as I think, the way bitcoin is making progress and is earning this much of fame and reputation, it is really a difficult thing for bitcoin to lose its value. In fact, it is just the start of an era of bitcoin. Bitcoin will keep on gaining more reputation and its value will increase with each passing day.
Limits of fame in Bitcoin are very small, you can see just a bad news about the Chinese government banned the ICO's made the price of Bitcoin dumped below $3,000 (an unexpected price). So, I think Bitcoin is also a bubble, anything can happen, Bitcoin can also breakout its bubble soon.

If many country ban bitcoin and when government control bitcoin I think that is the time bitcoin will face its downfall, it might not be known but it will not gone. Also if there is a new cryptocurrency that is more advantage that bitcoin and gives more money.

Yes I think so. All I know is Bitcoin is based on the Law of Supply and Demand. As the continuous demand and limited supply, prices tend to go up. So as per my opinion, if there's no demand at all of Bitcoin, it may lose its value.

Bitcoin is very volatile asset. It will not be surprising for me to get up early in the morning and see very low price. Anything can happen, today CME group announces launch of bitcoin futures, price starting to rise by 300 dollars, and what will be tomorrow, heaven only knows.

So you mean if the price of the Bitcoin falls? Well we cannot be sure if that will happen or, if it does happen, when it will happen. It depends on the economical scenario at that specific point of time. But since Bitcoin is a deflationary currency, if the demand for Bitcoin stays the same, the price will continue to rise until the block reward stops. You may not know what I am talking about. Well let me, every time a miners mines a block they are being encouraged by the prospects of block reward. The block reward is the only way that Bitcoin is created. Every 4 years the block reward halves and reduced supply of Bitcoin. This means that price will always go up.

Yes everything is possible.Today bitcoin's value is increasing. It can happen that it's value can decrease on  the same moment.Since volatile nature is the pecularity of bitcoin,we have no option other than waiting. It requires patience and hard work.People who have invested in bitcoin often loose money. But with time they also earn profits. It runs on the cycle of demand and supply.More demand, prices will increase and more supply, then prices will fall.Even if the price of bitcoin falls,it still above the other cryptocurrencies.

Yes it's just a digital asset and like any other asset, bitcoin also can undergo huge dumps. This is possible and probable. You can't expect it to increase all the time.

I agree with you, bitcoin value might dimished or increase depending on the economic status of the world. However, if one economy fails to thrive another (such as what happened in China, etc.) bitcoin value is generally affected at certain cost. Basically the demand it brings to us is very dependable to the monetary change.

I think so, we're not removing that possibility but the chances it might going to happen is very little like nearly impossible because we are too far and more popular to go back where it all begin. Obviously, the demand and user keeps on growing and that will prevent the possibility in going back.

No. Indeed it is possible that the value may drop but not really gone. The value of bitcoin is dependable on us. Sometimes it goes down and definitely raise again. So don't lose your hope about those possibilities.

For now bitcoin is hard to lose its value, even bitcoin is getting more popular and its value is increasing compared to last year. But if someday people have left or no longer use bitcoin, it will automatically bitcoin will fall, but whether that's when will occur,we do not know.
Basically No, even the fact that in every currency there is an always value fluctuation. But due to the popularity of bitcoin and its ability to make more money there are many people around the world who has engaging on it and the more people working on, the more it becomes stronger, it is only like a passenger bus that as long as there are passenger then it will continue to operate and then comparing on that situation Bitcoin will continue to work until there are no more people working for it.

Yes of course because we all know that the value of bitcoin isn't that stable and as long as it didn't somehow announce that they will have the permanently  value. And also bitcoin isn't that a coin that somehow have its permanent value because the demand of the person of using it continually increasing.
Well i think that ups and downs are part of all currencies , it may lose its price for a while but it will then boast up and cross its early worth even , more people are favoring its ease and are getting involved into crypto. So , its hard even to predict that whether it will come down or not .

I don't think the bitcoin will lose its value because the demand for the bitcoin is highly increased so the price will increase always. The price swing in bitcoin is high but if the price decrease it will recover soon so don't have to worry if the price decreased. Many countries are started to accept by legalizing the bitcoin in their countries so the bitcoin will be available for more people to buy it.Which increase the bitcoin price more in future.

no, because bitcoin is legally used in many countries, and its demand is increasing more and more each day, if it lost its value it means that there is no active investor or holder of it, but its impossible right?

In life, anything can happen. Likewise with bitcoin, may will lose its value. However, everything must be have process and necessarily be 0. So, with analysis and information summarized, we can have an idea value of bitcoin for next time.
There is a difference between bitcoin losing it s value and bitcoin losing its value totally. Losing its value is totally expected in anything that is volatile and that is one feature we just have to deal with and no one and no one can have an idea what tomorrow will hold for it or even the next minute.

The little sharp drops to me seems more like loosing of value as well, not until it crashed. However, losing its value totally is something that is not possible unless we all dump and say we do not want to use again.

When there's no one who will keep on investing in bitcoin, I think that's the time that it will lose its value. But if there are still many people want to invest, then it will not lose its value.

May it come that far there is more to lose than to gain for investors. It will be dead.

Yes it is possible for the bitcoins to lose its value, like any other things that have an expensive value before because it has a higher demand than today when no one wants to buy it anymore. Because anything that everybody wants have an expensive value because the demands are high we all know the supply and demand theory. Bitcoins are just high and too expensive today because it has the hype, everybody wants it and they are the most reliable because of the fact that they are the pioneer.
