Hi everybody Trying this out Seems i have over 300 MH/s. How much DNR will this get me per day? And what is suggested? Pool mining or solo with this hashrate?

its a decent hash rate to try solo,
i would try it a while at least

Hi, could you please help me with the config for solo mining with the GPU miner?

I have a decent hashrate and would like to try solo but I'm not sure how to set up my config / .bat file for it.

heyas, yes
its in the op, close your wallet after sync it all

put this at appdata/roaming/denarius
and ofc name it denarius.conf

Code:
rpcuser=denariususer
rpcpassword=xx
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcport=32339
server=1
daemon=1
listen=1
addnode=yiimp.ccminer.org:33339
addnode=172.93.53.210:33339
*not sure if there are more nodes but i have those

dont forget to check and be sure your miner is in exclusions of your av, sometimes i forgot and the thing wasnt working lol

and then start your miner with

Code:

sgminer/or ccminer/ or cpuminer -a tribus -o http://127.0.0.1:32339 -u denariususer -p xx

and thats all, you are in solo Smiley

Thanks, but I'm getting the error

HTTP request failed:  Failed to connect to 127.0.0.1 port 32339:  Connection refused

hmmm daemon refuses

- I would check first if its not blocking the firewall
- if my credentials are configured correctly or some typo there in the user or pass

You would be surprised to know that I frequently had that kind of error so often when I overestimated the exception settings of my antivirus, my most usual silly forgetfulness

No issues here. I am solo now.

Just to be clear, in the config file the "rpcuser" and "rpcpassword" are your COMPUTER'S username and password, or your Denarius wallet address (user) and password?

And within the miner .bat file the -u is your wallet address, the -p is what?

Also is the config supposed to still look like a .txt file?

Noob questions, sorry, but thanks for the help.

@ RRSS:

download this config file:
https://www.sendspace.com/file/qwqctk

put it in here if you are using windows:
C:\Users\''USER''\AppData\Roaming\Denarius

or download notepad++ and create a config file by using ''save as'' .conf file.

Oh no no, the rpcuser and password can be whatever u want. In the .bat file u type the same username after -u and the same pw after -p that u put in the conf.
 Save the conf file as followed:
denarius.conf and select all file types. Then restart wallet

Great, thank you.  Looks like the .conf file is working now but I'm still having authorization problems.

It's still unclear to me what the username and password are for the miner.  Normally the pool config will just point to an address.

Is miner username my wallet address?  Is the password my privkey?  I've tried a lot of different things and still can't get it to work.

Feel like I'm missing something very simple here...  Huh

I got it working!  Thanks a lot for the help.

Now I just need to cross my fingers and wait for an actual share to come in...

Depending on some pools, it will take 24 hours to see your first share come in to your wallet.
I had the most succes with this one http://pool.denarius.name (stratum+tcp://lpool.name:8533)
at 10mh/s it took me 1 hour to see my first mined DNR Smiley

Yes, 100% true, it will take them a few weeks to get it fully integrated.
Cool

I put out a small update today for Denarius, v1.0.1.0, nothing major in this release, just some minor things under the hood. This update is not mandatory. If you want to stay on the latest, checkout https://github.com/carsenk/denarius/releases

I decided to test out DNR mining on my personal rig today just for fun and after mining around 15-20 minutes I get a "cpu set target error" and have to relaunch the miner. This is with dual GTX 1080 Ti GPUs mining with ccminer 2.1 --- I don't recall seeing that error when mining other algorithms before...

I reported this thread to a mod , to stop spreading virus infection

gargouri,

you are a moron and can't even put a proper sentence together. Is this your first look at crypto coins? I have gotten virus and malware alerts on about 80% of the wallets/miners/etc I have downloaded, yet no virus has ever found its way onto my system. Do yourself a favor and take some network security classes. Better yet, learn some code then go create your own coin.

About the same here. i have 8 1070's, 4 different brands. stock speeds go from 39 for the lowest (asus dual oc) to 42 for the highest (palit super jetstream ) on stock clock.

Feel free to tryout the multi-coin mining pool - http://neonpool.sytes.net for Denarius mining. Pool supports multiple workers under the same address and each worker can be monitored individually in the miner stats page.

Denarius pool: http://neonpool.sytes.net

Stratum host: stratum+tcp://neonpool.sytes.net
Stratum port: 7001
Username: <your-denarius-wallet-address>.<worker-name>
Password: <any-random-value>

Hi All,

I wonder what is the red command meaning?

ccminer-x64 -a tribus -o stratum+tcp://yiimp.ccminer.org:8533  -p donate --cpu-priority=3
pause

-p is the password for stratum pool you can make it antyyhing you like as it doesn't actually have a password - yiimp uses it for flags, so you can set your own difficulty, donate, set the coin you are mining etc

-p d=0.5,c=DNR,donate

will set 0.5 diff, coin as DNR (in case there are other tribus algo coins on there) and put you up for donation (which i think is 1%)

and --cpu-priority simply sets the miner's cpu priority so other threads don't slow it down if they use up CPU.

you can go to command line and type ccminer-x64 --help to see all the options

hashbag.cc - where do you put your hash? region based stratums available now: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2044808.new
