Could I still, today, get a refund through PayPal?
You can.... it is possible. I believe the chances of getting a PayPal chargeback/refund are directly correlated to the level of effort (and a bit of luck) put into the process. First step is to dispute through the website. That'll immediately be closed. Then follow some of the steps outlined in this thread previously. Persistence and a good attitude can go a long way toward PayPal giving you a refund.

We know that they are in possession of huge bitcoin stash with amount able to cover all the refunds in full. Even more than that. I understand that TH can't convert from bitcoin to fiat. This would be immediately seized as his accounts are frozen. But seeing no bitcoin refunds is strange. Maybe he lost his keys to wallet? Those bitcoins are not being touched since 2013-06-27. That would be hilarious. But seeing the performance in organizing things by this company quite possible. He might be inside, but that might be somebody else as well. Maybe some homeless guy. Or some customer who won't leave before he gets a refund in full

Update 11/9/2013: TerraHash is still in business, we have not filed for bankruptcy yet. The refund from Yifu was cashed immediately back then, we did not make any profits from the recent surge in BTC prices. Again, we are still committed to provide as much refund as possible. I will update again in a couple days on how we are going to proceed with that.
Quoted for future reference when bank account statements will show matching deposits from this alleged cashing.

Or was this cashing made privately by company selling coins to you and then the company paid the money you paid for coins back to you as salary.

And we let go of the office, because we are trying to conserve as much money as possible for the refunds, and the office was just a useless expense now. Nobody was sleeping in the office. when I brought my truck to move our stuff out of the office, I realized I had some useless clothes in the trunk. I just dumped them there to make space in the trunk.
Lol somehow i bet salarys are still going out even during this time of conservation. Did you sell parts or keeping to try for next adventure?( if any parts were ever bought in bulk). What is your next employer going to be? I sure hope they find this information about failed and mismanaged business. Maybe you were mad about personal info being posted not wanting it to show up on google for your job search.

Amir: You have two new legal claims pending against you, besides the lawsuit for Fraud. You told me multiple times that you refund 100% of my order. I made it perfectly clear to you that I'd take legal action against you if I didn't get my money back. I will not settle for a 50% refund, period. See you in court.

You either made a loss or a profit when you converted it to fiat, period. I'm going to guess he's waiting for the PayPal fallout to finish before he starts refunding the rest of the folks. They're the 800lb gorilla with more legal power and resources than Amir. Soon, it will all go to PayPal unless Amir corrects the situation quickly with PayPal and gets everyone a refund of 100 percent. No one is buying that you spent 50 percent of the funds electronic components and a few prototype enclosures. I also don't believe that you converted the BTC to fiat when you received it from Yifu. Bravo to Brandon Gordon for filing a lawsuit! These types of scams need to stop in the community; we're all a bit tired of the drama and companies hanging their shingle out willing to risk customer funds.

When the things don't work out as it should, that is not called scam. And once again if the man has a good intentions, there's no way that in the middle of everything will break bad and try to run. No, they will try to correct the things.
