And what happens if they dont deliver?

Nothing. However this is a major promise broken and now shifts blame from the Yifu issue, from BKK issue and back directly onto TH. There is no way to defend themselves on this one, if they fail to come through. Hopefully that annoying "IF" will motivate TH to pull through and get him his board. I think he ever stated that he didn't care if they were all tied together into the single K64, he would take the 4 x K16s.

After the many posts stating they were ready except for the chips, a failure should most likely motivate all customers still holding on to pursue their money by whatever available means. However, I know TH is going to prove the doubters wrong, as if they lose Bar, then abandon ship.

I also agree that this didn't make them a scam, it made them what we've all been saying all along - very poor at running a business with other people's money.  Regardless of what it was from the start, the bottom line is there are too many broken promises that were mostly minor, but now we've reached the big ones.  If they were to miss this one, anyone that supports them is a fool.

Simple posts from them change the whole thread to positive, yet they don't understand the power that they hold.

I doubt their even concerning themselves with the klondikes at this point,,,,, theres just no immediate future in it for them. Damage control mode at best now. How to deal with the refunds and stay afloat. And Im sure they are looking hard into the new venture with hosting and trying to get that ball rolling as a means to generate cash flow and are hoping like hell nothing else goes wrong Smiley I really do wish them lots of luck as they sure do need it.

TIP: Say something to your customers TH, good or bad.

Marto has his hex16 board fully operational at very reasonable prices, I see no reason why TH can not outsource this to Marto and still turn a profit, with the exception of components and cases.

The silence from TH is concerning, perhaps TH could comment on the above.

Never know? start ups fail everyday,,,so long as they incorporated, then its pretty cut and dry for owners to simply say cya! wouldn't want to be ya"

Not really. If they go bankrupt they will have to account for the money. And the Bank will pay out to those with claims.

Looks like I made the right decision to take off in my little dingy before the rush to the life boats. TH doesn't look like they will make their 2 week deadline even when supplied with chips.

I learned 2 main things.

1. Don't try and mine Bitcoins. If I would have used the $9000 for buying Bitcoins when they were $67 I would have made almost $7000  Roll Eyes Instead the money was tied up in this BS.

2. If they won't let you use Paypal and a Credit card on a pre-order don't buy it! If they can't deliver by a certain date, you should be able to get your money back.

Where is Terrahash? They are not responding to emails, tickets, voice call (mail box still not setup).
They are obviously monitoring the forum though.

Let it be known that Terrahash has my chips today. So the two weeks clock starts now.
I need to know what size and spec of fan to buy but I can't find the info as terrahash is not responding to anything.

Looks like someone called TH's bluff.
Now we will see...

Can we all agree that TerraHash / Amir has failed now?

Even Amir has admitted it at this point to try buying hardware from another company to host.

They don't trust their own hardware production on their hosting company.  And to switch from manufacturing to hosting shows they failed at attempt one.  The sad thing is trying to use the money they still have from people who didn't get refunds to try basically a new business.   And once they open up their "25 percent reservation fee" All this is to help them stay afloat.  I'm willing to be their 3 month refund idea is when they either have something or give up.

Are you stupid? They aren't switching to hosting because of their failures, they can make more money doing it.  How many people can drop 100k on a server miner?  But if one person buys one it's cheaper for the end user and makes a ton of money for the hoster.

If you start a hardware production business..... and don't produce then start a mining hosting service I consider the first business a failure.  If they survive good for them, it still does not mean then didn't fail at hardware production.

And you could always buy the hardware yourself at a smaller size.... you don't have to spend 100k.  Personally I like having hardware in hand.  But that is just me.

You have to spend 100k very soon, mining is becoming something that isn't a hobby anymore.  Again they licensed a board from someone that stopped producing the firmware and production of the board.  When TH started they assumed majority of the work was already going to be done for them since they were licensing the board.  But BKK stopped working on the project which then made TH have to do all of the work.

BKK basically said he's done working on the board which sucks.
