Afraid of August One?

It is really odd because only a week left until August 1 and bitcoins price went up back again, almost reached $3000. But at first I really got scared of the August 1 event rumors and speculations and decided to just hold on to my coins and bought some altcoins that dumped. But now that it is closing in and a week left, I wasn't afraid anymore.

I am believing that all will turn into positive for all crytocurrencies after August 1. Hoping all of us here in the forum stashed enough coins for the coming pump

we can already see the positive expectation of the people about bitcoin, the price of bitcoin is already increasing and it is expected that within a day or two the price of bitcoin will cross 3000$ level, as we can see a good increasing in the price of bitcoin before 1st Augusts. because people are too much confident about the price of bitcoin and are really giving good support to it.

we should not be afraid of what may happen on august 1, what we need to do is to be more educated, we need to come up with a strategy, so we'll not fear august 1. and what is happening right now might be a good sign, that bitcoin will still rise, and if not, we can buy it at a much cheaper price and it will rise again. we need knowledge to be confident on august1.

Although Bitcoin's price recovered very good in the past few days, we are still not sure if it is because of Investor's confidence going up or it is a price manipulation done by big players. Maybe BIP 91 was a good thing to happen with Bitcoin as others don't want a split to happen, and the announcement of it make investors buy position again.

although we are hopping so but i think the situation is still not so much clear, although some people are confident that the issue has been solved and that is the reason that the price of bitcoin is increasing but nothing can be said yet that either the price is increasing because of the manipulation of some people or there is real increase in the price of bitcoin.

Do not make any transactions before and after that date. And if you can keep your bitcoin in the offline wallet. Maybe that's what we can do. So that our bitcoin is safe

Yes, that is the right way to do because nobody doesn't know what is going to happen at the Segwit. Sometimes we may lose if we any transaction so many local exchanges are suggesting us they are going to close the transactions at the time of Segwit before and after August.

I don't know....The best thing to do is wait it out.  Bitcoin's been through a lot and has always come back, so I'm just going to secure my coins and hold my breath until the dust settles. I was thinking about liquidating all my alts into bitcoin and securing them too....or exchanging  all my cryptocurrency holdings for USDT and shorting the market....but....I don't know, this whole thing is a hassle!

my mind will be releaved when we reach august 1st. There is so much fear and talk what will happen, but it's no different than the stock market.. Once the fear and uncertainty dissapears, the price will climb.

The best thing to do is to relax, buy on deep if you have funds, dont sell no matter what, and keep your bitcoin safe by holding your private keys.

Simple that's it.

I have already read some assurance that at the current rate things are doing, the possibility for a split is getting remote. Maybe the overarching interest of all stakeholders has already dawned to many.

I am not that afraid, but I am alarm. If there is something really happen to bitcoin then I may just accept it. I cannot do anything about it. Even if I cry or even if I get angry all day to everyone it won’t change the fact that something happens to bitcoin. I am just hoping whatever happens in August 1, it will be for the good/better of all of us. If it is really good then I think it needs a celebration for all people who do bitcoin.

This is very simple thing , you should think that lot of amount of the Bitcoin are hold by the owner of the Bitcoin , so what will happ if the network of the blockchain will face problem , I mean we don't need to worry much about this , and instead of this some preacuation should be taken by us .
1) Before 1 August transfer your all Bitcoin at the blockchain wallet .
2) If you have Bitcoin then transfer only Bitcoin to your address of blockchain also  .
3) don't make transaction like things from any of the Bitcoin wallet .
4) Make backup of your wallet of the blockchain before the 1 August  .
If you will do these things , then I don't think that you need to worry anything ways , because you are in official ways and platform and nothing is problem in the official wallets

Yes this is the pretty much things you need to take care of. Any transaction that is broadcasted before one day of spliting or on the day of it will get lost automatically. The signing of broadcast can not proceed as the system would be certainly idle and you may loose your money too.

Any wallet is ok to keep the money. It just the exchangers which we should be afraid of as they wont be able sen and receive the funds properly. Hope the split doesnt occur and we stay on the safer side of the fencing.

I thought that there's no more reason to be afraid of August first since SegWitx2 will be locking in? The next "fear" is probably in three months time since that's the period (to prevent hard fork) where we see if most of the miners will be sticking to their decisions / promise.

Yes most people area afraid but there is so much chance that it will effect btc as most of the parties have agreed on btc splitup so it will be sure benifit for all people as you can see again btc prices are rising high to high and reached back to $27800. so i suggest you to wait and watch you will be getting great amount of benefit after 1st august.

I am not afraid of the August One because I am positive that this coming update of Bitcoin network will have a good impact to bitcoin even if it result in fork.  I do not know why people keep on spreading fears, doubt and uncertainty since this move can possibly solve the long problem bitcoin had.  Aside from that if ever it split the network, your coins will not lose value in an instant.  I suppose both chain will try to survive and of course your bitcoin in each chain will have value. So the possibility of earning more than what the value of your coin today is very possible.

Hell yeah split ain't gonna happen and people are assuring that probably nothing will happen to your Bitcoin if you take necessary precautions that everyone is telling you to do then why do you need to worry. August 1 is going to be an update for Bitcoin and it may or may not result in a fork. But one thing is sure you ain't gotta panic for everything taking place for crypto currencies, they are volatile and digital so they do need updates just like an normal application on your phone for instance.

Fear and uncertainty is almost zero right now, segwit2x have already got enough support and it will be activated within next few days which might be before 1st august.

Just relax by holding all your bitcoins in addresses which is under your full control.

nobody knows what will be happens on august 1st, but one thing that i can bare on my mind, that will be , i need to stand firm and trust bitcoin now, because bitcoin really helps me a lot, even sometimes i get dizzy because almost i spend most of my time earning bitcoins too, but i know that it is worth it and i will get a money from it.

Yeah. Actually im afraid of spliting btc into two. Because theres a possibilty that the value of btc will go down. But i hope it will be a huge success. I hope that after bitcoin splits the the value will stay the same. Andialso wish that the value is continue to rise.
