Present time are not good for both the BTC and altcoin because today most rely on the value of BTC. So with the current context we must wait a good news from BTC

I am not a believer of crypto , but I think some of the altcoins will success in future. To me , I invest in them , then get return or get loss.
Why do you always lose? Try investing with ethereum I am sure in the coming year you will benefit.
Its just a part of it we loss sometimes cause not all the time we all got the return in investing.

Since blockchains do not die, I think altcoins have a future, but I can say that in the long run the chances of having a good financial return through Bitcoin are much greater.
Some alts may give you 3x, 5x or even 10x in the short term, but in the long run Bitcoin can be a much more rewarding investment.

Blockchains can fork to death if they're not maintained properly. A community could chose to pick a fork up again, sure, but that would be too much baggage.

I believe Bitcoin has a future in long term. It proved itself in the past years and it is getting widely popular. It just has a transaction fee problem atm.

What about the altcoins? Who does use them for real? Will people use them in the future for real purpose?

I only have a hope for ethereum and litecoin, but not for the rest. I am not even sure for eth and ltc.

If bitcoin solves the reansaction fee and time problem, I doubt eth and ltc even have a future.
Yes, I believe that also altcoin has a good future like bitcoin. In addition to that, many people invest in altcoin because they know that they will earn much profit and you can a sure that you could earn that profit. Lastly, all altcoin has a good future and I hope they will have a good future like bitcoin.

Having lost a great deal of money last month; i still belirvr some alternste blockchains will survivr. Actually, I believe there will be more than thousands.

Why? The solution space offered by blockchain is too wide for a single dedicated solution.

We have scams/shitcoins yes. I would put 90% of icos in scam category. But imagine the other 10%. They develop niche solutions that end up generating revenues... they have a reason to survive.

As bitcoin opened the way, and sets gold standard, we can go beyond that in time. It would be great not doing that with icos but just community efforts. However, ico brings cash together for a core developer team.

Any argument calling all altcoins scam/shit is wrong. Consensus creates the value.

I count more than 20 coins that have some sort of a future that I am very confident in. I also count about 20 that i am not sure, except they are not scams. Then i know of about 200 coins that are scams. Another 500+ i have no idea about... so, genrally speaking they are shit, correct. But not all.

Ethereum used to be one of the altcoins. That is, some of them will stand out and others will be dead just like the penny stocks market.

I think some Alt Coins have potential then others. Also some coins are doing great in some countries then others.
For instant, Gilgam.es e-Sport alt Coin might works in Korea. There is huge e-sport market in Korea. Even there are e-sport theaters where you can actually watch other pro game players or teams play games. However, not many countries have that kind of market.

But still, Bitcoin is the safest investment for future. Smiley It is just my opinion Smiley

Ofcourse, Altcoins has a bright future. If an altcoin has no business to support it's coin then it will not excel.

I see bright future for the following altcoins:

ETH the blockchain framework, as long as new altcoins will be created using the ETH blockchain. ETH will continue to shine like Bitcoin.
XRP, Ripple will continue to surge while banks are using it's blockchain.
SC, the decentralize storage feature of Sia will make them a threat to Google Drive, Amazon WS, and other cloud services.

I believe Bitcoin has a future in long term. It proved itself in the past years and it is getting widely popular. It just has a transaction fee problem atm.

What about the altcoins? Who does use them for real? Will people use them in the future for real purpose?

Yes altcoins do have a future because most of them does have real projects which is a good example of the things that we need to look for a coin before buying that coin or making an investment. Altcoins always have a future but it depends on their performance if they will have a bright or dark future.

I think a few coins in the crypto market ought to have a future, as they are made with framework and advancement and positively have great vision and mission for future prospects and can rival different coins

I believe that the future of altcoin is definitely there and it will be better, like alts that have stood ETH and LTC still, there are still potentially good ones, just for example XMR, DASH, Monero and others.

Of course they do, each coin (not all coins but valuable ones) provide VALUE! Bitcoin and the blockchain technology is amazing and innovative. Thus I think it's a quick argument that alt coins do have a future. Also worth noting there are a ton of alt coins now and many are NOT valuable.
